I’m 50 years old…I’m sitting here drinking my morning coffee and strolling down memory lane watching this. Thanks so much for the wonderful stroll of great memories. ❤
These YOUNGANS will never know how SPECIAL Saturday mornings were . Cereal, cartoons, clean your room, do some chores, and get on your bike or skateboard until it got dark.
Once the cable channels(Plus Fox and the WB) came out and started airing cartoons it just wasn't as profitable for the big 3 to air cartoons. Sort of a shame Saturday Morning sort of as like the high point of my week in the 80s
There are networks that are all cartoons, at least during the day. Cartoons aren't as limited to time slots, any more. Also, if you get MeTV, they have a Saturday morning line-up and a weekday cartoon program "Toon In With Me". Great stuff!
I was born inn1974,& I remember me and my sister and brother sitting on the floor in front of the Tv eating cereal and just watching allll of the good cartoons..Thanks for sharing ❤
Memories from my childhood that i spent wanting to be an adult then as an adult just to wish I was a kid again. This is as close as l can get to being that kid. Thanks for posting this.
This is the closest thing to a Time Machine we're gonna get !! Go get a big bowl 🥣 of FrankenBerry cereal, then go online and buy an adult sized pair of footy pajamas !
I just turned 61. Grew up watching all of these great cartoons on Saturday mornings. Sometimes the simplest, most ordinary activities make the sweetest memories.
I used to wake up almost 5 am to watch The Dirty Rascals…The Glory days of Saturday Morning….Everyone knew from school what each kid was doing on Saturday morning and after all cartoons were done you would go play outside with your friends lol Now asking kids to go outside it’s either they find it boring or like this summer they cannot with all heatwaves plus forest fires…In the 70s and 80s we had those but not to the degree of this summer
We had a small Television in our bedroom And my husband at 6 am was switch the tv on to watch the cartoon on Saturday morning when I want still to sleep Was in the 70 he still watch cartoon at 78
Not only Saturdays but after school there was always cartoons or after school specials. I remember Sunday nights my family would gather around the TV watching the wonderful world of Disney. I really enjoyed growing up those decades. I wish I could just relive it one more time.
Thanks for watching. And remember to keep your head up and hang on. We all go through some real hard days BUT if we keep fighting we eventually get to a better place. While we are battling these things old cartoons and music can help soothe the pains. You are not alone. We will have ya in our thoughts and prayers.
I"ll be 50 in two weeks and watching these cartoons again really snatches you out of "adulting" for a few minutes and helps put life back in perspective! Thank you! 😀
In my 50's as well and so glad so many of my generation enjoyed this. It's only just a glimpse of yesterday but sometimes that helps a lot. Have a great day. And thanks for watching.
Wow I actually brought a lot of these on dvd on Saturday morning about 6am I get up get my bowl, box of cereal and milk, sit in front my TV set, play Scooby-Doo, the Jackson 5, Penelope Pitstop and Josie and the Pushy cats, sometimes the Archie's only one missing is the Globetrotters original cartoon. Don't do it every Saturday but most bring back such joy and memories.Spent all that time wishing to get older only to wish I was a kid again. Always remember the song from Room 222 Richies gang, I'd rather stay a child, as an adult I realize every word was so true. Saturday mornings was the best!!!
Aaaaah man, I’m 58 and I remember these cartoon. Innocent funny cartoons that didn’t destroy ah child’s brain. Thanks you guys for bringing laughter to ah lady.💯🖤😆
I got the Archie’s album. Curiosity Shop, Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo, Josie and the Pussy Cats, HR Puffnstuff, Lidsville, Land of the Lost, Dick Dastardly and Penelope Pittstop, Bullwinkle, Johnny Quest, Sigmund and the Seamonster, Super Friends, I can’t believe I remember so vividly. Still a kid. THANK YOU!!!
Memories from my childhood with my cousin on Saturday morning. Those were the best times as a child. Children these days don't know anything about The Saturday Morning Cartoon lineup WITH School House Rock, the ultimate learning experience 😍❤️
Isn’t that the truth!! I learned far more from School House Rock (& Sesame Street RIP Jim Henson) than I did in School. Certainly us Canadian Kids knew more about your Constitution than we did our own thanks to SHR. 😁
@@denisecampbell6736 Thanks to my Dad having Encyclopedias , books about Constitutional Laws and children Encyclopedia for me, he talked to me about things All the time. I was able to remember a lot thanks to the songs from School House Rock, plus phonetics from Sesame Street and the Electric Company 😁

I personally miss Saturday morning cartoons!!! As a kid I literally looked forward to this every single week. Now they don’t exist… to dad to say goodbye
This was an amazing experience! Down to the commercials of my youth! TY so much for letting me revisit my youth and a much simpler and, in my opinion, funnier cartoon time.
These are the true decent cartoons that I grew up on I wish they had continued these cartoon up till today but they didn't such a shame love these thankyou for these lovely cartoons
I watched these when i was little, now i am watching them with my daughter who has Cerebral Palsy and is a young lady. I enjoy watching these cartoons with her they bring back so many memories. Thank you .
Cartoons were my Saturday morning ritual well into my 30s. I would watch them in my office! Thanks for bringing them back here on CZcams so he tradition can continue.
2:15:25 2:15:31 I'm over 60 years old and I watch all my nostalgic cartoons. There are no better cartoons than those of yester years especially with a bowl of cereal!
You know, Saturday morning cartoons were so needed. A kid needed to chill out after a week of school! Those were the days, living wild and free 😊🎉
You also described my Saturday mornings to a T. Waking up by 6am to catch The Jetsons was no easy task. Followed by Scooby Doo-my most favorite cartoon then. And then a whole lineup of other classic toons. I would go grocery shopping with my mom on a weekday and seek out the coolest toy in a cereal box, regardless if I liked the cereal or not. Saturday mornings after an amazing breakfast-pancakes, bacon, and eggs (always on Saturday mornings) was the chores. Bedroom cleaning. My mom was a clean freak so, cleaning at 8 years old had to meet my mom’s standards. Then…just like you said, hangout with the neighborhood pack. There was a park behind my house, where we would skateboard at. Street football and hide and go seek was our play day. A break would occur whenever the ice cream or sometimes on a rare occasion, when a donut truck would drive on our street. The memories! 😊

I’m 58 and miss those days sooooo much. I still love flying kites.🖤✊🏾💯
I'll be 57 in a few month. I still watch the old 60s and 70s cartoons on Saturday mornings.
Amen. Then prepare for Sunday church before going to bed.
They missed it
I can't believe that they don't show any cartoons PERIOD on Saturdays now. Thanks for the blast from the past!!!!!

I agree with you a gazillion percent!!!!
Yes
Josie & the Pussycats was simply an amalgamation of Scooby Doo+Archie. Heck, the voices are even identical.
Casey Kasem was a huge voice for Saturday morning cartoons... especially Shaggy from ScoobyDoo
Born in '65. Great stuff here. Best of days.
I just turned 61. Grew up watching all of these great cartoons on Saturday mornings. Sometimes the simplest, most ordinary activities make the sweetest memories.
Very well said🖤🖤

I forgot about that antman/anteater cartoon
'HR Puffnstuff. He's your friend when things get rough.' Another great program that brings back a lot of memories.
Yeah, way better than Sesame Street
I love School House Rock, Funny Company, The Archies, Wacky Races, Captain Caveman, Scooby Doo....and a whole lot more.
Old is Gold 😘 old cartoons are much better than new cartoons 😄
I'm just a bill. How I hope and I pray but today I'm just a bill. CLASSIC!!!!
This does bring back some memories when I used to kick back eat some cereal and watch these cartoons knowing I don't have school today 😁😁😁
Love these old school cartoons. I just turned 60 and life isn't what i thought it would be. Great escape from my deep depression.
