Also, I know about the cheat code available after 365 in-game days people. 2nd Note: I'm going to include these suggestions in the description. EDIT: I just remembered a couple. - When beginning GT4, you can just do Sunday Cup over and over again to win the Autobianchi Abarth hot hatchback and sell that. It's worth some credits plus the 3,000 cr you get from doing sunday cup. I originally did this in GT4 when I first played it. - Super Speedway 150 Miles using B-Spec Mode again. You need either a fast LMP or Group C race car, I personally use the Nissan R92CP and modded it to 1154hp. Equip it with Racing Hards or Super Hards to make it last longer. Remember to look out for the A.I. pitstops. The problem with this method though is that it takes a lot longer than the other events since it's an endurance event. - Grinding the RX-8 Championship with a modified RX-8 to re-sell the RX-8 LM again. - El capitan 200 miles Endurance with a competitive car. - la festa italiano with the Pagani Zonda S in B-Spec mode.
PS2, I've tried playing GT games on an emulator, but my computer was struggling to run them even after speedhacks were in placed. Which is fine, I'm happy enough with playing GT4 on component cables.

Still a lot of fun to play even today. They really drop the ball hard with the sequels. Just remake GT4 but fix the AI and the engine sounds. Now they fixed the engine sounds, we have Porsche and Ferrari but the whole GT mode is a complete joke in GT7. And then you have the car upgrades, an area were Forza is miles ahead.
Capri rally on easy is my favorite way of grinding for money. You can take almost any car without upgrades and make a profit with it. And things get really interesting when using something with only 150-180hp stock (you end up with an actual race on your hands!). Any lower and its hard to win with a stock car. Otherwise, this is probably the only method to make a profit off of almost every car in the game without modification, and is a good shakedown to learn how a car is going to handle as well. Even having the forward and reverse versions both having to be complete works out nicely. Race stock on forwards, tune very lightly for the Reverse. Or if your car doesnt have enough power and you're curious, NA tune forwards, Supercharge/Turbocharge for Reverse. Repeat for any other things you want to discover about your current car (need for suspension/differential/ballast/etc). Tl;DR i spent probably the last 7-8 years mostly doing that one race with every car in GT4, having played it since the game was new :)
Yup, it pretty much is the only method I can think of where you can win with a stock car. Not that I would continue to do that once I acquired faster cars when grinding. I'm trying to get the money as fast as I can, the most I do is alternate between different race cars to keep myself entertained on the grind. Honestly, I could never enjoy racing in this event or the special conditions just due to that stupid 5 second penalty. For testing my cars, I just prefer to try them out in practice mode on any of the track menus shown.
Buy a pagani zonda and run in "la festa italiano" with b-spec. "La festa italiano" is a championship with 3 runs of two laps, in B-spec you finish them in 7 minutes :D The value of car prize is a 265k alfa romeo touring car
For the DTM method, I would recommend staying away from upgrading the turbos for Opera Paris, since the turbo lag will make your car slower at low rpms, which is what that track is all about.
Holy crap im amazed people still play this. I just started a clean save after so many years. Feels so good to be back. thanks man for the tips they'll come in handy in the future!

Ayyyy! I've been doing the Japanese one, and selling the car for 330K. I was almost afraid to sell it at first thinking there's no way I'd be able to keep doing it like I cheesed the beginner circuit.
Hi, 2 years late here. Just thought I'd share a money maker that I use late game. Enter the Laguna Seca 200 miles endurance event, which unlocks after completing 25% of the game and requires A license, with any vehicle that can mop the floor with a Saleen S7/Ford GT, but the faster the better (because for some reason PD decided to have bo restriction on vehicle choice in an event where the AI cab only pick american sports cars). Using B-spec with overtake on at 3x fast forward, it'll take ~40 - 60 minutes depnding on the car (hence 'faster is better'), and you will have to pay attention for pit stops, but you'll win easily. The payout for the race win is 200k cr., but the real prize the GT40, which sells for just shy of 750k cr. So around an hour of little effort gets you nearly 1 million credits.
Yup, I all done with a fat PS2 that I had since I was a kid. I also used a component cable and for racing footage, set the game for 1080i. However, I do use PCSX2 in my more recent videos.
well,i started all winning "challenges"(500cr)in that little fiat till i bought "HPA Motorsports Stage II R32 '04" and upgrade to almost maximum(it's a rlly good choice in my opinion) then i win some races but i was needing some much money to get others rides so,i repeated the same race in "special events"(the one that gives an offroad toyota) to just sell the toyota and get much money with that. it was almost like what you've done in this video, anyway, thx for the tips.
For the Easy Capri Rally, buy a stealth R92CP or use R89CP (unfortunately, you have to complete missions 30-34 in order to unlock it), once you have either of those cars, go to the Nismo tuning shop and buy Stage 4 Turbo (not necessary, but it is helpful for endurance races imo) and buy Racing Qualifying Tires (you would be asking why, here's an answer: there isn't a tire wear in this race, so you don't have to care about it)
I do have the stealth cars on a couple of my gamesaves. I just like to use different race cars for fun. Not that it matters when I can just grind on the dtm championship.
I do have the stealth cars on a couple of my gamesaves. I just like to use different race cars for fun. Not that it matters when I can just grind on the dtm championship.
For the first method i take the hpa performance stage 2 r32 (is a golf r32 not a skyline ) the best part is that it only cost 31,000 cr so you can basically get the this by beating sunday cup and seling the autobianshi a few time once you got that 552 hp 4WD beast you can start grinding right away and yea the a maxed out r34 is faster but the apeal of the hpa performce stage 2 r32 is that it comes with alot of power stock and the best sport tyres and 4WD
My favourite car.Pretty usefull in few (if not quite the most) events there (not to say in the special conditions playin George V Paris Rally and Tsukuba Wet hard (expect hard difficulty in Tsukuba Wet as the opponent is a LMP or a Group C LeMans race car, unless u know what to do just go for it) .Plus the noise from the mufflers sounds like a tuned v8 tbh. Pretty fun car to drive in the early-mid game proggress.I try it in the supercar event with the available upgrades that had plus s3 tires.oof.i burst out in laughs when i won all the races in 1st place.I need to buy it again to live again that usual thing that i do in gt4.(i play it on pcsx2 now to do it 100% completion of the game.too bad i write for first semester exams at university.hope when it ends i will play the rest to 100% complete it.
First thing, i load the GT3 Save for the 100k credits, use it to buy one of the BNR34 GT-Rs, win the Capri Rally, sell it, and spend the funds on tuning the BNR34 GT-R, then doing the Beginner events.
Hi there, you can just buy a CRX from the used car showroom and go full b-spec mode, use the family cup in Nordschleife to gain xp on the AI and upgrade cpu, suspension, weight reduction, turbo and tires. Once you did that go for the compact car championship and there is ez money all with b-spec, i don't even get a license or drive to make the ending movie!
I have just bought this game and I will be using an emulator to play this great classic. I just hope that my gamecaster will be able to record the gameplay. Great video and thanks for these handy tricks as I think I am going to need them. I will use my Steam controller or I will try and get a dualshock USB controller for my PC as I would imagine that this game will be harder to play with a keyboard ;).
i got a cheap racing wheel on amazon for like 90$ and it works great. So fun this game is honestly amazing wish the emulation was a bit better tho u need a really good computer to get it working right
yeah theres just something about it. I think part of it is theres no annoying voices or anything just cool music and sweet cars nothing telling you what to do and what order to do it in.
1.buy a chaparral 2j race car 2. Race it (american events) 3.sell ur price 4.do ib license 5.race stars and stripes 6.complete all beginner events 7.get ia license 8.sell ur price on the licenses and all ur races 9.complete all professional events 10.sell ur prices 11. Buy a jaguar race car 12. Race it (extreme events) 13. Race the jaguar at its country events (i dont remember the event) race all the races buy the car u need 14.go to endurance events i dont remember if the conpletion is enough 15.complete all endurance events AND BOOM U ALMOST COMPLETED THE GAME AND MAYBE HAVE 100 MILLION CREDITS (i dont remember if its really 100 million but its around a 100 million)
terakhir kali main game ini, sebelum memory card ps2 ku corrupt.. pada akhirnya aku mengulang kembali game ini. Dan yang paling menyebalkan dan wajib untuk dilaksanakan adalah menyelesaikan semua driving license.. :) but still i want to play this game..
I don't know how your B-Spec driver can race on level 5. Mine's almost maxxed out after all the endurances, and he still can't hold a race car on super softs past 4. He always goes wide on some turns and crashes. (On PAL) Anyways. I can't count how much time i've spent going around amalfi for the RSC... enough to ge 4.5Mil and my trusty Pesca C60-Judd '04 :P
Oh for sure, my B-Spec mode driver still sucks on the endurance events. I know first hand when trying to use it on an endurance race at Infineon Raceway. It was on average 8-10 seconds slower than me. I had to take over to clean up the mess it made. It's perfectly okay however when I'm pinning the B-Spec driver against slower cars like using my RX-8 Concept LM against some normal Japanese sports cars for instance. For the DTM championship, I had to upgrade my Mercedes CLK DTM for it to finally take on the other cars.
@@RandomCarGuy17 That depends. On B-spec i recomend Medium or hard racing tires and 4. On endurances it make things more easier for some cars and you can get pass the 24 hours ones without problem.
@@jolebole8819 Thanks. I think part of the reason is just my content being niche, but I'm fine with that. I just make these videos for fun afterall. :)
Anyone else having issues clearing races from Deutsche Touring Car Meisterschaft? I just did it for the first time (all in director mode), got the prize car, sold it, and saved the game. I’ve tried resetting the championship’s races, both by starting the whole championship and single races, multiple times. Even reset the console to try that. Nothing has worked so far, so any info on a solution would be greatly appreciated!
As long as you repeated what you did the first time to win it, you should be able to get it again. Anyway, NEVER bother with single races on Championship events to win a prize car. Just focus on the Championship entry and you have to win the overall event to get the car.
@@RandomCarGuy17 Thanks for the response! Luckily I tried just running it again like you said and it worked, it is weird that you can’t literally clear it but it gets cleared anyways. Good to know it works still, great video!
@@thegaminpowerhouse8964 Yup, championship races don't have a need to get cleared if you want to win the same car again. That's just for single race events.
for those who dont want to pay attention to the game at all, i recommend el capitan 200 miles with some fast car (i use pescarolo c60 judd, stock so it doesnt go through the tires and fuel so quickly - i get 2 stops race thanks to this), sports hard tires and just x3 tempo that bitch. 250k prize and 750 k toyota minolta per race.
@@RandomCarGuy17 bout half an hour to 40 mins irl time. sure, it's not the fastest way, but requires almost no effort at all, good if you're doing other stuff in the meantime
There are new cheat codes for gran turismo 4 that only activate after 365 game have passed. An easy way to make the days pass from 365 days from April 1 or whenever you started your new save file is to keep purchasing tires or buy the really cheap used and historic cars. What is a good car for the all American championship??
You're kinda telling me things I already know bud regarding the cheats. As for your question: Ford GT LM Spec II from the GT World Championship would do the trick, or the Camaro LM, the Viper GTS-R Team Oreca might work too. I would recommend doing more research though, there's forums out there that have discussed it before.
THE easiest way is - win merceds clk, or buy audi ttr/opel astra, put a turbo in it, enter DTM championship, skip the opera paris race and win the rest 4 races on b spec = 878,000 cr. Takes about 10-12 minutes to complete it.
I'm basically the same, I haven't stopped playing these earlier GTs at all. and it seems I won't be anytime soon with the modding community developing for this series.
@@RandomCarGuy17 yea, its alright but on Opera Paris my CLK was having hard time with being first. Im trying second time and suddenly my CLK started to take 'em all, and now everyting is okay. Thanks for ur reply btw
@@HardcoreMajor no problem. I had a similar experience tbh when I did it the first time. It’s because the b-spec driver needs time to build up experience. An easy way to do that is let it take on easier events first.
The best thing to do is Get gold in all license tests. Not that hard and afterwards you will have 18 cars. Some are useless such as the Ford Model T, Nike One 2022, DualNote, Lupo, etc But then go to Mission Center, Finish it Now you can use the R89C in the lemans endurance race and win with ease.
@@IIGrayfoxII Well, ain't that a testament to how bad my driving skills are. It would be a struggle for me, it would take too many tries. I know for certain that I can't beat the driving missions at all. With that said, I wouldn't consider doing an endurance event easy money. In my mind, easy money is also money that can be earned in a quick amount of time. Doing 8 hours on La Sarthe on B-Spec mode isn't quick.
@@RandomCarGuy17 Not saying I did it in one go. Use the Ghost, see where you are gaining time and losing time. Studying the AI replay also helps. Persistence is the key. Took me several days to get All gold on IA in GT1. Some of the mssions were hard. Mission 23 IIRC was the R34 on test course, that was hard as you had to work with the other AI to get closer. Mission 34 is all bout being fast by being slow.
@@IIGrayfoxII Yes, I have done that in the past, using the ghost as reference, but I have tried different licenses multiple times and failed to get gold each point. I just gave up. The same with the missions, I gave them another try a year ago and still can't win the 3 lap battles. Mission 34 looked so daunting that I didn't bother. With that said, I can't really recommend doing this for beginners. The idea of my easy money tips video was to show ways to earn money in a quick and simple way. Something a player can do in little time. As a means to get more cars or upgrades faster.
I hate how unfair the capri rally event is. You get penalties from hitting a wall and the opponent. However, you get a penalty if the opponent hits you and the ai can’t get penalties even if they hit a wall.
That's because it's a championship. When you do championship events, they don't ask you to clear the whole race. Which doesn't matter, you can do the race again with it completed and get another CLK-LM.
RandomCarGuy17 thanks for the fast response! I had just watched another video and saw a separate comment asking the same question, and got the answer there as well. God bless and have a good day!
RandomCarGuy17 Also maybe someday do a video on the El Capitan method? Or any other methods for quick money. I think you got most of the best ones here, but the comments have some decent suggestions too that would be cool to have summarized
@@DMCK2000 Maybe I could as a follow up (this time with better video quality). Though it would seem odd to make a whole video on more easy money tips versus just adding suggestions to a list.
It helps if you just want the money, this this is a video to earn easy money without cheats. I thought I was clear about that, anyone can get a cheat disc and just add a cheat.
At least 250 hp, depending on the car's weight. I've been able to take on the Capri Rally event in an Evo 1 Lancer for instance. I would still mod the car though to be safe.
Sure, it can be considered that, but that's kinda the idea. Utilizing events found available in the game while using the ability to clear off races to try again in order to win. Otherwise, it would take eons and eons to save up money for a lot of cars you may want or need in the game.
@@RandomCarGuy17 do I just need to replay 6 races of the championship, despite the fact that they have already been passed for gold? And I will be given a nissan 350z again, (as in the video, at 11: 54)?
The Club RE One-Make race in the Mazda dealership. Tip: Try google searching the prize car list for GT4 next time if you want to know how to get a car. I mean, that's how I learn how to unlock things.
I cant clear the record of the chamlionship, it keeps entering me to race instaed of asking me to clear my record Edit: we didn't need to get asked to clear records, its still giving us the reward car even after repeating the championship
Want a good way to get money? Get an Opel Speedster and do the Speedster Trophy, it's only 3 Or 5 short races and the prize car worth 375k You know i'm joking right?
I know you're joking, but that honestly doesn't sound like a bad easy money method. I mean, if you can modify the Speedster for the event and use B-Spec mode; I can imagine being able to get money with quick succession. It was for a while one of the earlier one-make events I recall doing just because I knew I could win a Calibra DTM with it.
@@RandomCarGuy17 and I know i'm Not a pro driver, but I needed to get a lot of things in my Speedster to do that, so I dont think if u do for the first time it worth

@@RandomCarGuy17 your welcome
Tried it once, and it felt amazing.
Gran Turismo 4 is a great PS2 exclusive racing game. It's better than Gran Turismo 3.
There is a reason why I have a Gran Turismo icon as my profile picture.
Excellent
nice one m8
Yes I am still plays well started playing it👍
Thank you for a tips
No problem, thanks for watching.
First thing, i load the GT3 Save for the 100k credits, use it to buy one of the BNR34 GT-Rs, win the Capri Rally, sell it, and spend the funds on tuning the BNR34 GT-R, then doing the Beginner events.
I seldom do the 100k trick honestly, unless I just want to start an easy playthrough.
I might try it to see if it does anything, but that doesn't sound more effective than any of the tips I have seen so far.
I usually do Capri Rally and sell the Toyota RSC Rally Raid Car for 265k. Or i even do the Deutsche GT and sell the Mercedes Benz CLK GTR 764k
Yup, those are the ways to do it.
LOL the menu music synced up with my game it was funny
Damn.. I miss this game.. Alot
So fun this game is honestly amazing wish the emulation was a bit better tho u need a really good computer to get it working right
@@alecgamer420 I use a dualshock for the time being. I really enjoy this game.
yeah theres just something about it. I think part of it is theres no annoying voices or anything just cool music and sweet cars nothing telling you what to do and what order to do it in.
@@alecgamer420 This is why I do let's play with limited or no narration because some people like narration but others like to see organic gameplay.
The first tip is what I used to get money quick hehehehe but I've raced with an Audi Le Mans full upgraded, it was really fast at Costa Di Amalfi
I think I used to use that quite a bit aswell, though I didn't upgrade mine. It felt fast enough. hehe
HERE BEFORE 5K!
1.buy a chaparral 2j race car
2. Race it (american events)
3.sell ur price
4.do ib license
5.race stars and stripes
6.complete all beginner events
7.get ia license
8.sell ur price on the licenses and all ur races
9.complete all professional events
10.sell ur prices
11. Buy a jaguar race car
12. Race it (extreme events)
13. Race the jaguar at its country events (i dont remember the event) race all the races buy the car u need
14.go to endurance events i dont remember if the conpletion is enough
15.complete all endurance events
AND BOOM U ALMOST COMPLETED THE GAME AND MAYBE HAVE 100 MILLION CREDITS (i dont remember if its really 100 million but its around a 100 million)
terakhir kali main game ini, sebelum memory card ps2 ku corrupt.. pada akhirnya aku mengulang kembali game ini.

(On PAL)
Anyways.
Is it necesary to clear the event records to get the prize car?
Yes.
Do you have any tips to increase the days in Gran Turismo 4?
Well, there's entering and exiting events, buying cars, or I believe using gt auto works.
Thanks for the great video, but why are your fps so low?
My capture card can't record more than 30 fps. I only can do 60 when recording on PC right now.
good to know. Thanks😁
Do you have a video like this for gt5?
No, sorry.
If you sell the prize car and do the event again can you get it again or is it lost forever
You can get it again, when I said "per win" for each tip. That means you can keep winning the same car.
@@RandomCarGuy17 oh thats cool I didnt know that also thanks for replying even tho its such an old video
@@jolebole8819 No problem, I try to reply to most comments. When I can think of a response anyway.
@@RandomCarGuy17 You deserve more subs but I guess theres only so much you can do with what youtube shows to other people

How long did it take you to complete that using B-Spec mode?
@@RandomCarGuy17 bout half an hour to 40 mins irl time. sure, it's not the fastest way, but requires almost no effort at all, good if you're doing other stuff in the meantime
@@PLWhisky Ah, that's not too bad. I think I still prefer doing the DTM Championship though.
@@RandomCarGuy17 understandable :3
Question:
favourite tuner car in gt4?
I don't really have one. I don't modify my cars that often in this game.
My favourite is the blirz r34
How did you win your DTM mercedes?
It's a prize car at the "Legend of Silver Arrow" race in the Mercedes dealership.
@@RandomCarGuy17 Thank you so much
RandomCarGuy17 and the mazda rx-8 touring car or something?
You think I'm selling my beautiful AMG Mercedes CLK-GTR Racecar!? >:O
You can keep one, just win another one to sell. I mean, that's what I did in this game and in GT2.
CLK GTR best farming
I have ps2 and im playing gt4 now lol
flash back1789 me too i'm 53% complete
I bought one with an old save game that i had. 74% actually
THE easiest way is - win merceds clk, or buy audi ttr/opel astra, put a turbo in it, enter DTM championship, skip the opera paris race and win the rest 4 races on b spec = 878,000 cr. Takes about 10-12 minutes to complete it.
It takes 12 minutes if you put the speed on 3x on b-spec?
And to win the car again you have to delete the records?
where can i win the mercedes clk?
Anyone still playing besides me i gonna play this game till the day i die🎉
I'm basically the same, I haven't stopped playing these earlier GTs at all. and it seems I won't be anytime soon with the modding community developing for this series.
Bro my clk touring having hard time with winning deutsche racing anybody have an idea to help me?
(I've fulled the car)
So, it has the turbo kits installed?
@@RandomCarGuy17 yea, its alright but on Opera Paris my CLK was having hard time with being first. Im trying second time and suddenly my CLK started to take 'em all, and now everyting is okay. Thanks for ur reply btw
@@HardcoreMajor no problem. I had a similar experience tbh when I did it the first time. It’s because the b-spec driver needs time to build up experience. An easy way to do that is let it take on easier events first.
@@RandomCarGuy17 right, understood
I always use the last method to earn ez money
The best thing to do is Get gold in all license tests.
Not that hard and afterwards you will have 18 cars.
Some are useless such as the Ford Model T, Nike One 2022, DualNote, Lupo, etc
But then go to Mission Center, Finish it
Now you can use the R89C in the lemans endurance race and win with ease.
Um, that doesn't sound quick nor easy. Are you trying to be funny?
@@RandomCarGuy17 I got Gold on all tests.
wasn't overly hard.
The only GT I have not gotten gold on all license tests is GT3.
I know, it's a major pain.
RandomCarGuy17 but, win the car and the penalties become obsolete
@@enzyl6181 Yup. The penalties are only a pain the first time, but once you get faster cars; it becomes less bothersome.
I already got the 350z LM and I sold it, can I get it again?
Yes, just redo the championship.
Clear the record and you get it
Is it just me, or can I only do the DTM once? It doesn’t ask to erase the record so I can get the prize again.
Easy money tip insert action replay..give yourself 5 billion credits..hope this helps
It helps if you just want the money, this this is a video to earn easy money without cheats. I thought I was clear about that, anyone can get a cheat disc and just add a cheat.
If you're using an emulator to play GT4, B-spec becomes even better as you can up the game speed
I'm happy to hear that, I might actually 100% this game for once.
How many hp is required for rally?
At least 250 hp, depending on the car's weight. I've been able to take on the Capri Rally event in an Evo 1 Lancer for instance. I would still mod the car though to be safe.
@@RandomCarGuy17 Thanks

(this is a fact)
Okay. :D
GT2 and GT4 are very easy to earn credit

Race care vs mobil dealer..wkwkwk..ooh.. My.. Good..😆😆
Are those methods considered exploiting?
Sure, it can be considered that, but that's kinda the idea. Utilizing events found available in the game while using the ability to clear off races to try again in order to win.
Otherwise, it would take eons and eons to save up money for a lot of cars you may want or need in the game.
I don't understand how to reset the Japanese championship, please help
You don't. For championship events, just re-enter the championship race and you'll win the car again.
@@RandomCarGuy17 do I just need to replay 6 races of the championship, despite the fact that they have already been passed for gold? And I will be given a nissan 350z again, (as in the video, at 11: 54)?
@@moguchy1825 Yes, you still have to win the championship again to win the 350Z LM again.
There's no work-around to that.
@@RandomCarGuy17 I mean, this has already been won for gold, and the game does not offer to erase the data
@@moguchy1825 Not in championship mode. You only need to clear single race events.

I cant clear the record of the chamlionship, it keeps entering me to race instaed of asking me to clear my record
Edit: we didn't need to get asked to clear records, its still giving us the reward car even after repeating the championship

You know i'm joking right?
I know you're joking, but that honestly doesn't sound like a bad easy money method. I mean, if you can modify the Speedster for the event and use B-Spec mode; I can imagine being able to get money with quick succession.
