Yeah i know this is a old game but i wanted to make a video on this anyway. This video shows how to easily gain money on Gran Turismo 4. If done right this should take less than 1.5 hours to do.

2:19 Important: Always give any car you get an oil change at GT Auto. It boosts your power a bit.

@@NickChronic01 no, if you buy a used car, ALWAYS immediatly oil change before you blow all your cash. Same goes in GT5 and if you have and extra 10k in GT5 you should overhaul the engine too and restore body rigidity if you can. Your car will always really struggle if you dont change the oil

quick tip for the B Spec tournament spam part. You can make this go by even faster if you push R1 to go to the Race Monitor.
from there, you can choose to change the viewing speed to 3X faster. This literally makes all the races go by 3 times as fast and takes that much time off for the money grind :)

I'd do the Rally d' Umbria one first to get the Cadillac Cien, thatll make you unstoppable. Could end up doing the Amalfi series like 5 times in less than half an hour

Small tips before repeatedly selling the RSC for cash:
- Before you do the race, you should do the easy Rally d' Umbria. It gives the Cadillac CIEN, which you can use for grinding the easy Capri Rally, as it's waaay faster than the AI cars there. It's also good for that American car race. Take in mind it gives no credits for selling the CIEN and that it can go +1000hp so it's a good reward.
- You can unlock the Escudo with an RSC if you have no rally cars. Just save one for the race.

Shit man, thank you! I was FLYING on Rally D’ Umbria in Toyota! It was a good reward after I’d spent 3 hours trying to win Capri with 91 Celica (it has 248 hp after I bought a lot of parts for it, but I sucked a lot).

To be honest, you can use the Cadillac CIEN for the Amalfi Rally and hugged almost every wall. I think both races in the Amalfi Rally can take something like 4 minutes in total using the CIEN. The main reason why I’ve been doing this is so I can earn enough credits to be able to buy the black cars in the Used Car Dealerships.

Lol I was just looking at this as I did all Sunday cup and B License tests. I had used the lupo for the Sunday cup and I had 12,900 credits. I bought that very Subaru WRX sedan and bought the exhaust for extra 23hp and did what you said from then after and it was amazing thank you so much 😄
Or get silver to get the gtr concept-->Japan championship--->extremely easy--->get 350z lm race car and buy a stage 4 turbo--->do the second Japanese event--->win an even more powerful car--->put stage 4 turbo (900+hp)---> congratulations you have won gran turismo

Or do multiple races at the lower end of the spectrum to gain both credits as well as driving experience to build your garage. Gran Turismo has always been a test of patience.
True, my problem is im a collector so i love having money in the game so i can buy more and more cars.
What I tend to do during the early days of playing GT4 was to purchase a used Civic Type R (around 9990) and grind out the Honda Type R race at Motopark. ( I chose that track since encountering an NSX was quite low). There, I chose B Spec and spectate the race until I gained about 150000 cr and bought myself a brand new Ford GT to do the Star and Stripes races. The prize car of that event (I think it's a Camaro LM) was then used to complete the remaining Amateur and Professional races (where eligible)
Doing that tournament takes a lot longer than winning 2 or even 3 of those toyotas....the Amalfi races (both of them) take around 10min and gets you 275k Cr. You do an hour worth of that race alone and you'll have about 1.650.000 Cr.

Pro tip: once you get to that Costa Di Amanlfi track from special conditions, keep racing on it and sell those Toyota RSC Rally cars and make millions

You can do the Amalfi event and win/sell the Toyota just 3 times and you should have enough money to buy the Abt Audi TT-R Touring Car and fitting it with a stage 4 turbo kit + some Racing Hard tires. From there, just do the DTM Championship under the European hall. It's a 5 race championship. Enter the championship with your new TT-R and immediately skip the first race (since it's the longest one of the five) by starting it and exiting the race, and move to the next race. The remaining 4 races you do in B-spec. Press R1 to enter Race Monitor screen, from where you can speed up the race to x3 by pressing L1 + Directional Pad. Set your driver to overtake from the beginning and fastest pace. When he is 1st place, turn off Overtake mode, set pace to 3 (in the middle) and watch him simply own the race. Repeat until you've won the championship, and you'll be rewarded the Mercedes CLK-GTR Race Car. This car sells for 743.000 Cr. Thus, the money from the races + championship win + selling the CLK-GTR is almost 900.000 Cr. Since the races are over so quick in x3 speed in B-Spec, and by skipping the first race as well, the time it takes from the moment I first enter the championship and till I press Sell Car on the CLK-GTR in my garage is just short of 12 minutes. That's over 4 million Cr. per hour right there, and over twice as efficient compared to just grinding Amalfi for the Toyota all the time. Plus, your B-spec driver gets to grow from the driving as well :D

I ran the Amalfi coast race so many times. I built a C5R and Viper GTSR pretty much specifically for that race with gearing and alignment that I was winning by nearly a lap or more.
Always get an oil change on a used car. Go to GT auto and an oil change will boost the horsepower past the claimed factory spec

i bought a dodge viper srt 10 '03 with the money from b-speccing one clubman cup race repeatedly before i saw this tutorial, so that made the special conditions race easy af

Better yet when you win the Toyota rally car use that car to do same special race again to win the same car again and sell the double car. That thing is a total beast in the narrow streets. You will see the AI car only once at the rolling start trust me. 😁
I recommend completing IA test so you get the Nismo, which saves you alot of money
The Nissan fairlady concept race care is brilliant use it for some endurance races or any other it a great work horse for getting money.
Well my first car was a toyota supra 2.5 twin turbo for 9.800$ and after i won beginners races i set up the power to 660hp!!!And yes it worked perfectly.

Just a little tip get something with around 275 hp from used dealer do an oil change for 50cr and get the chips for 1000cr do the Capri rally and just keep doing thet for a quarter mill about every 10 minutes

I remember I used to do the race where you would win CLK LM race car, then sell it, then repeat that over and over. The car itself was worth 750000, then you used to get a fair amount for the race as well.
well when i get a new car it doesnt show the car just name and ok i click ok and its a black screen and i can only see my arrow and sometimes it loads quick sometimes its loading for half an hour can you help me if you have any tips on this?

After You got the licenses A and B you can sell the Volswagen,get a used car and buy flywheel and cluch for it,then win 2 times the "Costa di Amfali":easy event and sell one of your Toyotas RSC you just won.

Just installed a PS2 emulator to play GT4 with my Xbox One controller. I was inspired by playing Gran Turismo on my PSP 3000 from a while ago. Can’t wait to try this out-and you can go back and win the same car over and over again?

Once you win it go to IB(normal) level rally races and choose George V paris once you win it you get a Renault 5 maxi turbo which sells for either 280k or 380k im not sure
It may be longer, not sure so do what you prefer
How do you clear the Japanese championship? I already beat it in B-spec, got the 350z and now when I enter the championship again it doesn't ask me if I want to clear the races. What gives? It just shows all the races with Gold Medals besides them. Do I have to sell the 350z or something?

Do all the time the Amalfi races. 2 Races give you a total of 275k if you sell the car.
Or if you're lazy, buy a decent American car (I suggest the Ford GT) and do the Stars and Stripes event in the American hall. The prize car is a Camaro LM race car which sells at 212k, but there are only three races and you can B-spec all the races. You can get somewhere around 1 to 2 million credits in an hour with this method, with a very minimal effort.

the wet tsukuba medium with the toyota is easier and faster to beat and gives you 10000 cr and a 95000 mazda to sell each time you beat it

A more convinient way is getting Cadillac Cien from 1st Rally D'umbra in special events, then completing Normal George paris. After winning the challenge you'll be granted with Renault 5 maxi, which costs 265k + 20k you make from both races. All under 20 minutes. Yes, you will need 2 licenses and getting them is tedious, but the time will pay back enormously.

I feel that method is only good if you don't wanna run the same track for 4 hours. Running the cote over and over is actually more profitable
My preferred race to run tho is the ib George Paris. Takes around the same amount of time plus an extra 10k its the better option. But it comes down to personal preference

No, not really. If you want to bypass that by doing other races to rack up some bucks for a halfway decent car, that's fine.

complete the IA license and get 270r and just race to get toyota RSC, and repeat it with that toyota for faster time or use that toyota and win japanese race to get nissan fairlady LM 👍🏻

Sadly, there's no way to skip the race. If you're impatient to watch the race until finished, you can speed up the race in the race monitor.
I put a turbo on the 350Z LM and it flies past everyone in B-spec mode when you do the Japan championship again lol
