How to Install College Football Revamped for PS3 - CFB Revamped Setup Guide

- College Football Revamped is a modification for NCAA Football 14 which completely overhauls the game, bringing it to an updated and more modern day standard. This includes new jerseys, helmets, pants, fields, gloves, logos, and so much more. In a way, many people have installed and enjoyed this as if it's a brand new entry in the NCAA Football series, such as NCAA Football 21! This video will walk through and show you how to easily install NCAA Football 14 to a modified PS3 console, obtain the files required for CFB Revamped, and install it on top of NCAA Football 14 to fully enjoy the College Football Revamped experience.
This tutorial assumes you already own a modified PS3, running either full CFW (Custom Firmware) or PS3HEN, and have the basic understanding of how to navigate it. Having a modified PS3 is a requirement to install CFB Revamped for PS3.

for anyone having issues: Rename NCAA 14 file (under GAMES in your HDD0) to BLUS31159-[NCAA Football 14]. Delete the original BLUS31159-[NCAA Football 14] from your HDD0 and redownload part A and part B of revamp. This worked for me.

@@MrMario2011 Mario, it seems my brand new PS3 does not have enough storage space to support the CFBR package files. I've successfully played the game though HEN/MM and have it downloaded directly to my PS3 Hard Drive, but it will not install the Package Files due to storage issues. PLEASEEEEEE HELP

Whenever I try to copy the game to my HDD it tells me that it’s and partial and asks if I want to delete it. I checked the comments and didn’t see anyone else with this issue. What did I do wrong?

Having some issues - I have an older version of the mod with H3N and multimann already installed. When I plug in the USB to the ps3 and go to the package manager the files I downloaded aren’t there. Any help? (digital game copy)

For some reason mine keeps saying error 80010007, I followed every step it’s even showing college football revamped but when I try and open the application to play it, it just takes me back to the ps3 Home Screen saying error 80010007

Not sure if anyone is looking at this still, but I feel like I followed the steps using a digital copy of the game, but I don't see the College Football Revamped logo or changes anywhere, but I can play the game via Managunz. I do not see it in mmCM though, what might I be missing here?

@@deputygash I fixed it by making sure all of my files were the exact name as what they are supposed to be. I had the files with a 1 in parentheses at the end. I just got rid of it and it fixed it.

9:12 For me, When I get to Standard, it says "No Package Files Found". The A & B files show up in the Multiman Install Package Files, but not the XMB on HEN.
Make sure you have the USB in the *Right* usb slot.
When I go to copy my disc over it doesn’t say HDD , mine says HDD split . And when I download both parts ( A&b) and got to play the game , its just the regular ncaa 14.. what am I doing wrong ?

Why does the website where you download the files onto usb say all you need is ( windows laptop or pc, ps3 and a usb drive) it doesn’t say anything about needing a modded ps3, but this video says otherwise? Just wondering if it can be done with a non modded ps3 ?

That's why you use Rufus to format it accordingly, FAT32 and MBR.
is it just me or does this mod make the frame rate on the ps3 terrible?
Warning: Do NOT try and launch the game from ManaGunz. Got desperate since the game would not switch to CFRV. It froze up my console and got stuck in the system storage loop, no way around it so I had to choose option 4 on safe mode. Now I have to restore back to OFW and begin the CFW process all over again.
I wouldn’t turn of my ps3 if I was y’all revamp acts buggy when u turn it back on and re download it

The disc has to be ripped over to the console for the mod to work.
So, I remember when I was doing this a while ago I'd run into this issue from time to time, but I can't get past this part now. I fully download everything 100% correctly and installed Part A & B to my USB, but now when I move it over to the PS3 and I get to Install Package Files - Standard, it just shows nothing and it freezes up. Anyone else having this issue and if you know the solution please comment.

Man the same thing happened to last week
I reformatted my USB (FAT32 still) so that it would wipe it clean and then copied the PKG files back over to the USB and then tried again and it worked. Apparently my package files were only ghosted onto my usb and not really on the USB even though they would show up. I don't know if something similar is happening with yours but it may be worth a shot.
I could only install the files by downloading everything at once.
To anyone having this issue, make sure the USB is in the Right side USB slot, not the left. I have the same issue, without the freezing. It would not read the USB files in the *Standard" location.

Shown exactly how it works in the video: load multiMAN, insert disc, back it up internally to folder format, then install the .pkg files.
Hey Mario, I need your help desperately. When I try to copy the game to the internal hard drive, the copy doesn’t finish, and it says “aborted” and I’m forced to close it, and it seems if only half of it was copied. Any help for this problem?

I’m having a tough time, everything runs great until I get into the game then once I’m in game, things such as dynasty exhibition or anything that requires loading completely freezes the game and does not allow me too leave it w out shutting off the console

I'm thinking you would be fine on 4.87 or whatever. However, if it requires you to update game that might make a difference. I'm on 4.88 but, it didn't ask/request for game update. Just make sure to have a backup of the game somewhere just in case something doesn't work. I would try it though
The console firmware itself doesn't matter.

@@ronnelllackey1962 Is there a reason your not on 4.88? If you have access to internet, I would download 4.88 HEN and use it. Latest version should serve you best for other Homebrew/Tools in General as well.😁 Also, I don't know how new you are to HEN/Jailbreak, but Some *HOMEBREW & TOOLS* Are Specifically for FULL JAILBREAK CONSOLES. And you could potentially lock up(BRICK) your console using them. Be Careful and make sure any Homebrew/Tools are Created for [HEN] jailbroken consoles. It's up to you if you want to use older versions of HEN or Current versions. Revamped will work with others versions.
Inside of Multiman, i start the copying process to the internal hard drive and it aborts at 96%, Now it says split. Help?

Took me forever to figure out but I had this exact problem. you have to go into multiman file manager and go to your games folder there will be a couple ncaa folders but the mod wouldve saved into one called BLUS31159-[NCAA Football 14] and your actual game will be in another folder named similar but slightly different. You have to delete the folder with the mod in it (should have a picture of Bryce Young or tlaw in it) then rename your other ncaa folder to BLUS31159-[NCAA Football 14] and it has to be exact case sensitive and all then re install mod packages and it will work.
