The "zombies" are white walkers. That's what the Night's Watch men saw on the first episode. That's what the ranger was trying to explain to Ned about what was going on, but he got beheaded anyway for abandoning the Night's Watch.

They are the ones who turn people into “Wights” (zombies).

Game of Thrones don't play around when it comes to episode 9! 😂 Littlefinger owns the brothel in King's Landing. That's why he's always there. Ned found out all the Queens' kids are Jaime's because they all have blonde hair. Baratheon's all have black hair! It clicked for Ned on why they killed the previous Hand for looking into King Robert's bastards because he found out too! The thing in the 1st episode is a Whitewalker! The normal dead are called wights!

Not trying to be a dick but you guys really need to either rewatch the first few episodes or look up the info bc you have no idea which kids are King Robert’s and which families are which and what is going on in a lot of ways lol…I absolutely love this show (just finished it about a month ago so I was late as well), it’s an all time favorite now and I enjoy your reactions, mostly haha, but not when you miss the good sh*t, lol. Good luck with the channel, you have great personalities so I have faith but i am missing the others, where did they go? Lol…

I know they feel lost and dumb and behind. Thats not true. I said the same thing to mair and sophie. The show is engineered that way. It makes fans have the same reactions and questions and comments at the same secens as everyone else.
No one knows anyones names, or anyones castle name, or any lord until the same episodes everyone does.
Its designed that way. You are supposed to call peoples nicknames like "the red bitch" until you care about her in the season they want you to. Then you start calling her milisandre. Thats an example.
