The tiny villa is really lovely and very well appointed! Would totally stay there. It was very kind of the Couple to offer it to you, and be the first to christen the place! You look much more at peace since leaving Thailand. ❤

Bali is one of my fav. places on Earth, i stayed ther once for 7 weeks an i did for 4w a balinese dancing class - the "welcome dance" - my best unforgetable experience ever!

What funny is, many foreigners didn't know Indonesia but they knew Bali. They thougt Bali is not part of Indonesia lol. If you're still in Indonesia i recommend you to visit Jogjakarta. It's one of special region in Indonesia that's very iconic and beautiful. Have a nice day in Indonesia!
I have been to Jogja and it’s a nice place. But in my opinion nothing beats Bali in Indonesia. In terms of culture, religion and lifestyle

I have been lucky to visit Bali many many times and it change so much from the first time in 1985 till now, it was so virgin, charming and lovely place, the last time I was there was I think in 2018 or 2019 ( just when the eruption of the volcano and before covid) I have to say I had to escape from Kuta, Legian, Seminyac because it was too much for me like it was also Ubud when still I can remember was very quiet and not so massive tourism, so I escape to the east to Candidasa, in my opinion in Bali they have to do like in Butan limited the tourism because the tourism spoil everything even it bring jobs and money but they price to pay for it is too high, even is not like the Bali I use to see during the 30 years before I have to say that indonesian people still are very friendly and nice smiling people and very patient with foreigners, just this week I have read that the government there want to take action to avoid some bad behaviour from foreigners, the shock I had the last time there was to have the feeling I was in Australia or California, for 1 local 20 foreigners and the first time I was there was oposit and I had the chance to live very beautiful experiences with local people and friends, I was very lucky to travel all South East Asia in the 80's and 90's when Asia was very authentic and full of charming
