I have often been lost for words, when trying to describe Pentatonix's unique vocals & sound, & I still cannot express, or even come to terms, with what my ears are hearing, most times, but one thing I do know, is that, when I hear their voices, it always takes me to a place, that touches my emotions, & can make me feel things, I didn't even know existed!!! To me, that is their gift, & what makes them, not only an amazing group, but incredible artists 💝 **THEY TRULY ARE A RARE GIFT** 💝
I simply MUST see you react to something that has Mitch singing high! Honestly, their most inspired and glorious song I think, EVER, is their rendition of the Prayer. If you want to know what true superb musicality sounds like, that's it. Also, even though Mitch is the star of that song? Kirsty and Scott will make you make faces. Do ittttt.
I always say I love their cover of this song. Though it is most people's favorite from the movie, it's actually my 2nd favorite. I wish PTX would do my favorite, the "kidnap the Sandy Claws" song. I feel like they would absolutely kill it! 😈
You are one of the first reactors who I've seen that appreciates this song and how great it is. From a musical standpoint, what they do in this song is crazy difficult. Matt, the bass, absolutely steals the show, in my opinion.
Ooooh! So scary, children! Onto "Aha!", the official PTX video (NOT the live in Singapore, which requires a proof of good cardiac health ) and, yes, "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" takes a dark turn. Oddly, so does "My Favorite Things". For Christmas there are hours of beauty. And some scary beauty. ------- I almost forgot: "Mr. Grinch"!
Check out Pentatontix Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy from The Nutcracker. It won them their 3rd Grammy. Great reaction, I agree too short. And all that done with just their voices
I think you'd really enjoy their playful kind of song 'Come Along' - it is a cover, can't remember who did it originally, but it has a bunch of references to Winnie the Pooh, Through The Looking Glass from Alice in Wonderland, and Jabberwocky in it! Also you might like 'My Favorite Things' a cover from Sound of Music :)
Too short?...perhaps. But even a classically trained BBQ eater such as yourself (and me) can only eat so much in one sitting...LOL I'm digging the reactions. More Pentatonix please.
Absolutely loved your reaction, and your obviously true joy and appreciation of this fabulously gifted and talented group of people. You ain't seen *nothin'* yet! Their creativity is only one aspect of what makes them so unique. The editing and special effects are flawless. Your knowledge and recognition of the original, and of PTX honoring of that classic, is one of the many things they are known for (wait till you see their homage to Bohemian Rhapsody). Can't wait to see what you do next. Love watching someone newly discover these musical geniuses.
I love your reactions. I could listen to them all day. They are amazing. I think you should listen to them live. One of my favorites is "Joyful Joyful" Live from the evergreen experience.
In my opinion, this song is way too short! Short but sweet, I guess! One of my favorites because of how theatrical they went on the video and the song! Thank you for your reaction and appreciation of this group!
That's funny. About half way through I was about to comment that this sounds like something out of a Tim Burton movie and then you mentioned Danny Elfman and Jack Skelington. Now I've never seen the film but I do know the reference. That being said please add these to your list if you would. Nandi Bushell - The Shadows. I don't want to tell you too much about it. Just that hopefully you'll be pleasantly shocked and impressed. This music video is just so incredibly special on so many levels. Wes Waterston - Crotchety Old Man. Now this one is for you. I'm not a crotchety old man quite yet, (I'm 47) but I aspire to be in the near future. Most everything in this song I can relate to easily. It's just fun from one older gentleman to another.
Hey Salty, I'm sure everyone would love a joint reaction with your wife. I don't think you have one of those yet. If not?, tell her I said 🙏 please. 🇺🇲 Everyone will love her.
@@SaltyReacts You know it's all good skin, y'all just enjoy the time. ❤️💯I'm pulling 12.5 hour shifts this weekend, but you know I'll watch it if I can't catch the live.
Love the reaction. Their version of Little Drummer Boy is in my top Three favorites of all time, of all their songs; they do a stunning rendition. And they are so very young. Lol
They’re going on tour as of November 17th you should see if they’re somewhere local to you. Also they’re releasing a new album on October 28th. They released Prayers for this world early and it’s fantastic. Scott, the tall blonde also released his first solo song, called Mars. It’s stunning. Mitch, as Messer will have his first solo show in 2 days in LA.
I love you Pentatonix reactions and this one was no different! Your excitement captures what we all experienced when first seeing their videos and it is so much fun experiencing with you. Please keep them coming. :)
Wonderful reaction! I love that you got so excited over it! I was a bit scared that you'd not like it since you're so fond of the original and they didn't go the full character route, but I'm glad that you enjoyed their version!
I am very much attached to originals. Until it takes me to (what I consider) a better place. Things like Disturbed: Sound Of Silence or Johnny Cash: Hurt ... I gotta actually 'feel' it ...
I keep trying!! And I keep getting blocked - globally ... Only been able to get one Nightwish reaction to post so far. NIGHTWISH - Wish I Had An Angel czcams.com/video/jjANt7kRp0c/video.html
@@SaltyReacts I hope you can react to GSL as well. Nightwish got me through many months of the pandemic--starting with Ghost Love Score. Floor is the one of the best, if not the best, singers I've ever heard, male or female. You should check out the solo work she put out during Covid, and her appearances on Beste Zangers, a Dutch TV show. And then there's Marco (alas, now departed from the band). He sings lead on a tribute to Pink Floyd's song "High Hopes" that is just stunning. More recently I found Bo Burnham to deep dive into, and my latest obsession has been Tim Minchin (hint, hint). Glad you made it through still salty and not waterlogged lmao.

You should definitely react to their live performance of Aha in Singapore (the star vista) because the vocals there are incredible!
Recommend their original, Thank You.
I’m with you... Dany Elfman... and Pentatonix!!! Perfection. 🤗
You are one of the first reactors who I've seen that appreciates this song and how great it is. From a musical standpoint, what they do in this song is crazy difficult. Matt, the bass, absolutely steals the show, in my opinion.
It absolutely baffles me how 5 voices can sing with such precision and unity
Your pleased tittering is so great. Danny Elfman is purely a music genius, from Oingo Boingo to his movie sound tracks, i love his work.
Grinch"!
Who would think the man from Oingo Boingo (Danny Elfman) would turn out such gems!
Check out Pentatontix Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy from The Nutcracker. It won them their 3rd Grammy. Great reaction, I agree too short. And all that done with just their voices
Agree with you, but it was the 2nd Grammy- 3rd was Jolene
Reminds me of Mirror Mirror from Star Trek OS and Nightmare before Christmas.

Look at their GRINCH with Matt in the lead. Enjoy!
Too short?...perhaps. But even a classically trained BBQ eater such as yourself (and me) can only eat so much in one sitting...LOL
I'm digging the reactions. More Pentatonix please.
You make a good point. BBQ burps at 4AM can be quite disturbing.
Awesome reaction, thank you! Please moooore PTX 😊

Your complaint is always the complaint. Too short. Mitch's laugh makes me smile everytime
Thank you for reacting to PTX, I love your reaction and your happy personality :) Hope you will do more reactions to their covers and songs!
You should check out Voice Play's version of "Oogie Boogie's Song"! The whole group really gets into character for it and it's amazing
Enjoyed your reaction very much. Thank you.
Such a fun reaction! I can't even deal with Mitch's mad cackling. I just smile like a crazy person until my face hurts, then I play it again.
Thanks for your great reaction! This is one of my favotites, too!
I love your reactions. I could listen to them all day. They are amazing. I think you should listen to them live. One of my favorites is "Joyful Joyful" Live from the evergreen experience.
Added!
In my opinion, this song is way too short! Short but sweet, I guess! One of my favorites because of how theatrical they went on the video and the song! Thank you for your reaction and appreciation of this group!
They could have just looped it around and did the whole thing twice. I loved it ...
@@SaltyReacts I agree! A loop would be perfect!
Your glee was delightful!! Love this!

We are working on doing that. I HOPE to do a Live React this Saturday. And hope she will be here. Depends on her work as well.

I love Mitch in this lol
you look like a man that may like The Grinch, try there rendition, it's awesome, love it
Those just sound like bells to me in the beginning. Even after many times hearing and knowing it's' their voices.
Pentatonix will thrill you every time!! They own Christmas, so it only gets better from here!! 😉
Love your delight, love your attitude! Peace from Ohio …
Pentatonix is brilliant when it comes to putting songs together. Great video... blessings
Always the upgrade....
Loved seeing the joy that this brought you.
Just started watching your reactions and I love them! I definitely agree, the emotions are the key!
Love watching reactors reacting to their music.
You got Mitch Slapped. You'll get it again ... There are More, Enjoy.
Damn,I want to come and have laugh therapy with you!

I just saw them live last week and it was amazing. They are just as good live!! I love this song! Love your reactions!!!!
We love your reactions!
I'd love to see you react to some of PTX's original music. I recommend the Popspring 2016 performance of Can't Sleep Love, or Happy Now.
Loved you loving this! And I've heard so many reactors say that their songs are too short...i feel the same! Can't wait for more!
I love you Pentatonix reactions and this one was no different! Your excitement captures what we all experienced when first seeing their videos and it is so much fun experiencing with you. Please keep them coming. :)
I LOVE how much you loved this! Also it’s a common complaint, that it’s too short. I love your channel and your reaction.
Thank you so much!!

Really enjoyed watching with you! Love some Pentatonix!!
I love this so much!

One of my hardest Christmas songs to listen to is "Pretty paper" Rip Mom. I love you.
just thinking of that song brings tears to my eyes ...
I'll still listen to it. Love you Salty.
Done the like sub and comment thing. Yep
What else is new!?!
Check out Ghost Love Score Wacken live 2013 by Nightwish.
