Hi Tim another excellent video. Liked the locking mechanism of the zero 9. Look forward to the next video. 👍🏻
Thanks 👍Kind of you to say Mark...lots to film...I have about 9 video ideas to shoot :)
Very nice review. Thank you so much
Glad it was helpful! Which one are you looking at buying?
Excellent video as usual!! Will you be reviewing the new GTS? Thanks.
@JOHN CA I did already :) :) loved it...more videos with the Sport coming up soon too :)
Hi Tim, a nice unbiased and easy to follow video as always. The detail you went into when you folded the scooters and walked them up the stairs might seem trivial, but is useful to see the portability of each scooter. I bought the Zero 9 yesterday after a long scooter search. I had considered a number of scooters including he Uscooter GT, but went with the Zero 9 because of the wider handle bars, wider deck (I ride with feet side-by-side), bigger wheels for going over large bumps, pneumatic tyres for better grip in the wet, dual front and back braking (again better in the wet) and the overall more stable ride. For others researching electric scooters, it is highly recommended to go into a store and take some scooters for a test ride. You’ll be able to experience the size, weight and performance of the scooters which will help you decide which one is right for you.
Awesome to hear Daney :) : ) I'm sure you'll love the Zero 9 :) :)
Subscribed. I think I would choose the Uscooter for the faster pick up. I guess they are equal going up hills. The foam filled tires also seem like one less problem to worry about.
thanks for the SUB! :) I'm with you on the tires..as to the up hills...they were very similar...but the top speed goes to the UScooter..I have another Uscooter to review next week :)
This is the exact comparison I was looking for.
that's awesome to hear! Which one did you decide on?
@@TimsElectric E-Twow(Uscooter) have a showroom in my City and also offer test drives in the park this weekend. Need to check them out in person if it's not raining. I guess the Zero 9 would be better for me cause I live in a city with lots of slopes.
I actually find the Uscooter better for me...and I'm a big guy...plus it's so easy to carry :)
but if you're a bigger guy and the hills are steep then I would look at a dual motor scooter...IMHO :)
Hey Tim love your channel.Being a big guy 6’2” 320 I’ve decided to order the zero 10x for my first scooter.ice got a really large head probably 2x ish can u suggest any companies that make large bicycle type Helmets.I have tried a few at local bike shops w no luck. Thanks Howard
Hi Howard...I'm using an old bike helmet (I too have a big head lol)...I'm going to leave your comment up and see if others reply (I'll pin it)...I am going to review a bike helmet later this week (that does more than just protect) and will see if they have larger sizes :)
I did like the zero 9 when i had one. The downsides where the handlebar collapse mech always kept undoing. The LCD display could not see in the sun. It was quite zippy.
that's right the handlebar used to get loose...and yes the generic screen isn't great in the sun :) :) cheers
tested gt vs vsett 9, took gt 2021, zero regrets very fun scooter
awesome to hear that you're happy with your purchase...I love the GT too :)
Great review. Victoria is absolutely gorgeous❣
I think so too!
Tim, I don’t believe you mentioned the price difference. That’s a big deciding factor in making a purchase. Thx !
Well noticed Greggory! The reason being that I find pricing is very different country to country and even city to city...so I chose the two of them as they were similarly priced here in Victoria British Columbia :) $1100 USD approx
I've owned the Uscooter Booster V for three years. It has the best specs for lightweight foldable scooters. I like it.
thanks George!
My wife and I love them :)
Thank you very much for the video Tim, after watching it I'm still not sure which one to decide on. I weigh 85 kg and I want it to commute to work on the flat in the city and on bike paths, a total of 30 km round trip and accelerate up to 30 km/h whenever I can. For me in favor of the Zero 9 its wider platform and suspension. and in favor of the Gt is its very light weight and its wheels that do not puncture... can you help me?
30 Kms is too far for either...you'll be too tired...I';m guessing it's 15 Kms and then you come home. ..also the Zero 9 will get some flat tires (pinch flats)...where are you located? can you message me directly through my website? I have a form at the top and can give you a better recommendation :)
@@TimsElectric soy de Barcelona (spain), si efectivamente son 15km de ida y otros 15km de vuelta. ¿Qué me recomendarías entonces?
I'd look at something bigger like a Zero 10x or Varla Eagle One...the range anxiety will be less and it'll be more comfortable on the way there and back :)
I'm waiting for the ultimate commuter scooter. Jewel Motors top speed optional or with an update 25 to 31 MPH with front suspension and back suspension. With app and with an alarm for walking at the scooter and NFC. This is what I'm waiting for on a commuter scooter
I don't the brand at all...maybe send me a link? Have you looked at the Apollo City dual motor? it's so smooth :)
@@TimsElectric ok thanks for that I will look at it 🤗
it's the one I use almost daily ...just charging it up right now so that it's good to go for the week :)
Only critic is the voice volume is great, but the music… I had to hurry and turn it down, woke up the wife every time, so I had to use ear buds to finish watching!
oh wow..I really tried to get the levels right on this one..sorry to your wife :) cheers Tim
Small scoots are like small fans. Can't expect much from them. I'm kinda on the fence about a small scooter.
did the video help Rosie?
If not maybe this one....czcams.com/video/OuNTDma3cos/video.html
I'm really loving these for hops around the city :)
Would you make a review of boosted scooter
Review of the UScooter Booster V coming out today :)
GT SE hands down…..and I got an 8X (FUCK A BUNCH OF FLATS)🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
love the GT SE :)
What’s the average range you get on your GT Uscooter SE? I know it’s definitely not 31 miles
I actually haven't done a range test on it...I'll zero out the odometer and get back to you....10 Miles is no problem and I'm really big :)
@@TimsElectric I'm going to assume maybe 20 miles?
My pick is the GT SE.
Thanks for the vote Jonaliz :)
Hello what's the actual range if uscooter se
Regards
They say 31 Miles but with my big but, I'm guessing around 10 Miles or so is what I might use it for....with my wife on it she goes forever on it :)...mass is a killer :)
Should I get GT SE or just GT?
I prefer the GT SE...because it has a bit more power and the extra brake...so probably the GT SE...but my wife would choose the Booster V all day (as it's a bit lighter and she flies on the Booster V anyway :)
@@TimsElectric Thank you for the info I ordered GT SE.
30km/h on Zero 9? I thought you could hit over 40km/h and even 45 km/h on a Zero 9
My Zero 9 and my size meant it was a lot slower...but the UScooter boogies :)
GT SE is almost 12 lbs lighter not just a little lighter.😁
it's funny that at the time I didn't think much of the difference but now I notice it...you're right, it's a lot lighter and as a result I reach for the GT SE all the time :)
gt se or mosquito ?
I haven't tried the Mosquito yet.
Hope they send one my way...I need to send them an email to request one :)
Good reminder @Peacefully Simple
🇬🇧👍
@batcave55 Cheers happy scooting :)
