    Sweet music on that B ROLL!! these things are so great because they are sooo compact - i can fit 4 in my small jaguar trunk!! - looking forward to them releasing a dual motor version for better performance on hills or a higher performance concept to compete with the new wave of scooters like Vsett - EtWOW is like APPLE -when they do it they do it really well!!

     @Ginger On Wheels you should review the new 2022 GT sport coming out. over 700w of power and a top speed if your a lighter rider of 28 mph. maybe 25 -26mph for heavier riders and yet its still only 29 pounds. thats almost a dollar per pound of scooter. i cant think of any other scooter that can near 30 mph thats under 30 pounds. i preordered it yesterday

    I had it between this and the Unagi model One E500, but I went with the Unagi.
    The Unagi is excellent, but I can see lots to recommend with the E-Twow, especially the suspension.

  • @georgieman1910
    @georgieman1910 Před 2 lety

    Maybe you didn't notice but the plastic shroud on the right side fork of the front wheel has broken off, exposing the nut.
    Also I have ridden this scooter in torrential rain fall and it actually handles very well. The only thing you really need to protect is the LED board and head assembly between the handlebars - easily solved by using a clear plastic grocery bag. The solid tires stink for traction in rain or over any wet metal surfaces so watch out for that and don't tilt too much on those turns. Other than that, the eTWOW GT is one of the best ultra-compact scooters out there. Folds down into a small footprint and light enough to carry around. Just like you said, that spring suspension is amazing.

    Very good review and pretty much spot on with how I feel about my non SE that I've had for about a year. Except I do ride in streets with cars no problem but I try and stay in bike lanes on it. Also I commute in wet conditions and light rain for quick 1-2 mile trips all the time. But you do have to get used to the brakes first and a feel for the solid tires.

    I’ve got 3 scooters. 2 dual motor power-scooters and my little “grocery-getter” 500 watt REAR motor NanRobot X4 which is getting pretty worn out. I live on the floor of an apartment building (2 flights of stairs), so, when I need to just scoot to the store I always use the little guy. Now, THIS scooter has my interest. The ‘Bot has a pneumatic front tire AND coil springs but NO rear suspension and a solid rear tire. It does 20-ish on a full charge and is easy to use a cable-lock on. I didn’t see an obvious place to run a cable through the ETWOW Would you verify that this is so? It’s kind of a deal breaker for such a light scooter.. thanks!

    • @GingerOnWheels
      @GingerOnWheels  Před 3 lety

      You could probably slip a cable lock through the spokes in the rear tire but 10/10 you're better off with a ulock. Good point though, something I totally didn't think of. Very limited options to actually lock the thing up past the "lock" feature built into the throttle.

    • @darcychu9652
      @darcychu9652 Před 3 lety

      You can either tie a single knot around the folding neck of this scooter with cable lock or using a coil cable lock around the folding neck. An affordable U-lock for bicycles could also be used around the folding neck.

    • @darcychu9652
      @darcychu9652 Před 3 lety

      Coil cable lock for bicycles works best for both folding neck and stem.

      I have the etwow s+ the One that’s half the price of the GT with a 350 watt nominal (500 peak) motor compared to the GT’s 500 watt nominal (700 peak). It’s a tiny bit shorter deck and no drum brake or app connectivity. It’s great for short journeys to the local store and I carry it in with me it’s so light so no need to leave outside! If I go to a larger store I just get a trolley and put it in! I’m 6 foot, 84kgs for reference and the s+ serves me fine.

    • @yourmobilebarber8999
      @yourmobilebarber8999 Před 3 lety

      So light you don’t need to lock. My wife and I just take it into stores and restaurants on date night. With a handle and should strap it’s even lighter. Thieves snap locks off in seconds but then again they probably think this is a push scooter from its profile and leave it alone 🤷🏾‍♂️

    • @GingerOnWheels
      @GingerOnWheels  Před 3 lety +1

      The cost is in the R&D and warranty. Its not easy to get drivetrain with this much power inside of a ~27lb scooter that won't immediately break on bumps. If it does break, however, eWheels has incredible warranty service. I think for someone who needs a compact lightweight scooter, that also has a bit of zip and speed, it would be hard to find a scooter that can hold a light to this E-twow gt se. If you don't need ultra portable, there are probably better options.
