    Simple. We’d get Hyrule Warriors: Imprisoning War.

      I wish this could be a real game, although the imprioning war wasn’t a big battle. They just watched rauru seal ganondorfs power. However they probably could make a game out of it.

    Rauru and Sonia healed Link and Zelda at the end... as ghosts, link's arm will be fine.

    I think there is an important flaw in your argument here: you assume that Link would need to bring the Master Sword into the past if he and Zelda both ended up there. But the Master Sword didn't fall with Zelda. She used her time powers to bring to her in the past, from the future. The game has Link put it on the altar outside the Temple of Time, but that's just to let the player have an idea of what happened to it, rather than have it be dropped in the Imprisoning Chamber and then mysteriously appear in the past with Zelda. So there should be nothing stopping Zelda from doing that again. Or, worst-case and she legit does need someone to put the sword on the altar in order to zap it back in time, she could leave a message for someone else in the future to find, telling them to find the broken sword and where to put it. There is a possible sticking point, depending on whether anyone besides Link and Zelda can carry the Master Sword, even in its broken state. However, it doesn't actually matter how far in the future it gets done. If Zelda can pull it back 10,000 years into the past, I'm sure she can pull it 10,005 years. Hypothetically, if they could find some way to get Link back to the future (stasis of some sort, maybe?), he could fetch the sword and take it to the altar _after_ defeating Ganondorf! Or, failing that, they just leave a message for the next chosen one.
    So like, Link and Zelda both end up in the past. They leave a message for the chosen hero after BotW/TotK Link, telling him (presumably) to find the broken Master Sword and take it to the altar at the Temple of Time on the Sky Island above Central Hyrule. From there/then, Zelda pulls the Master Sword back in time. The question now is, can she fix it _enough_ to be used on Ganondorf pre-Secret Stone? If she can fix it even a little, I bet Mineru could cook up a robot arm for Link and he could beat up Ganondorf in time to save Sonia. If she can't - which, let's be honest, is more likely as the other option would wreck the timeline - then it's back to Plan: Dragon, now with a side of Link. See, Link has no way to get back to the future. He can't store his soul like Mineru, and even if they had a spare Secret Stone for him there's not really a point to him becoming a dragon since there'd be no way to direct his focus in that state. Light Dragon Zelda didn't need direction. She just needed to exist as a light-battery for the Master Sword. Instead, Link has to come up with a trap. They know that the seal on Ganondorf will weaken and break in the future, because that's how they ended up in the past. Link has to come up with something to delay mummy-Ganondorf after he wakes up to give Hyrule a chance to spawn a new chosen hero. Alternatively, maybe Zelda could do something with the whole draconification bit? Like, she has light _and_ time powers, right? Could she possibly pull the Master Sword from the future, hork the Secret Stone, and then act as a light-battery for the sword and a time-battery for Link? Healing the sword and keeping Link unaging until the right time comes?

    IMO it would have been interesting for both to go to the past. But instead, have it so the two can eventually go back to the future, to witness a hyrule destroyed and barren from Calamity Ganon. You’d have to travel back to progress in the game, and change the present Hyrule into a preferable outcome - eventually coming full circle with events like in the canon game, with Zelda consuming her secret stone and becoming a dragon, and revering the timeline to the one you came from.

    OOOOOOOOOR, zelda used the secret stone by herself out of fear and since link caught zelda she isnt scared and link fights ganon right then and there in glooms lair

  • @TomMooreT2S
    @TomMooreT2S Před 13 dny +2

    It really wouldn’t make that much of a difference because only Zelda would still be sent to the past and Link could’ve fallen into Gloom’s Lair if not for Rauru’s arm.

    One caveat: yes, the Great Sky Island and the 13 stone monuments were uplifted after the Imprisoning War. But all of the other sky islands previously existed~ We have references to the Zonai civilization living on sky islands in several Zonai device item descriptions, as well as the Legend of the Stormwind Ark.

    • @ganonfan
      @ganonfan  Před 13 dny +1

      The gloom issue would have gotten worse. The entire reason they went beneath the castle was because the people of Hyrule started seeing gloom, and it needed to be investigated, well, the source of it for that matter.

    Falls to her death? She didn't die
    You'd still have all your weapons and either continue going down the cave and defeating ganon yet again, or they'd just go away and try again later, hell, ganon doesn't even try getting out or doing anything until you go down there again, he's still trapped
