I'm so used to cheap crappy sounding headphones that when I tried on the QC35's and 700s at Wally World My brain couldn't understand what was happening.

I have had the Bose QuietComfort 35 II for some years. A comment to what it let through. First time I was on a flight and applied the headphones noise canceling I had a weird experience. A few rows up, there was an older couple, and when I wasn't wearing the headphones, the loud noise from the airplane drowned all (as expected). The moment I applied the Noise Canceling, I could hear what the wife was saying. I didn't really hear what other people said, but that particular persons voice, somehow got through. It was like being in a spy movie.

Her voice probobly just happenes to be able to no be picked up by the 2nd stage of the noice canceling, the couter step, the feedback. Anc works by taking sound, amd sending back an opposite sound to cancle it out. So the 2nd stage just didn't manage to cancle it, but still heard it in the first stage

Hi just to let you know both headphone feature fast charging in 15 minutes.
Bose 700 - 3.5 hours in 15 minutes
Bose QC35 II - 2.5 hours in 15 minutes.

I have qc25s 35iis and 700s and still use all 3 when I feel I want to. The qc25s are good for when I'm travelling without a charger as the sound quality isnt noticeably different with any of them to me. Maybe I dont have the best hearing to notice the differences but honestly the difference is so small you can't really describe it. None out of the 3 sound better than the others. The qc35iis are the best day to day in my experience, and I'm no longer afraid to scratch them on doorways etc. As ive already scraped the bose paint off over the last 2 year's.
@@georgecroney6168how did you manage that? Ive been using my qc35 1s for years and no paint is coming off whatsoever. The screws look corroded and im on my 3rd pair of cushions but the rest looks brand new.
Also if you like the 35 ii the best anyways, why keep the other 2? You can listen to them by wire too and a cable fits in the case easily. Gotta carry a charger for your phone anyways? :D
I own the qc35, and the experience when you first get them is like no other. The sound is nothing short of amazing. So rich and full. Everything is so well balanced.
I don't honestly see myself switching away from them any time soon. The quality is just too rich.

Not sure if I got a defective product, but the sound quality of my QC35 II headphones are significantly more muffled, distant and less full than my $50 headphones. When I turn off the power, the volume and quality drops so much that it's barely usable.

I’ve got both the Bose quiet comfort 35ii and had the Bose 700 for a few weeks. I agree the 700’s are more comfortable than the 35ii and I prefer the design. As a woman with long hair, my hair was always getting caught in the hinge of the 35ii and I always hated having to fold them. Worried they would break. Love that you do not have to fold the 700’s. With the noise cancelling I didn’t really notice a difference between the two headset. Both were excellent. Like you said, the biggest difference and a game changer in my opinion is the call quality on the 700’s. It’s amazing. Walking against a strong wind and passing traffic I chatted to my husband, who couldn’t hear any background noise from my side. This is a big difference from the 35ii as when on a call with my husband, he would always complain about the background noise. On reviews that battery life of the 700’s, seem to be held against it. However, as I work from home and don’t travel that far. This is not an issue for me. So I do not consider it a drawback. Also price seemed to be another big drawback on reviews, however I’d saved for these headphones so was less bothered about price and more concerned about buying the right headphones for me. So again price was not really a drawback for either. To me, the call quality of the headphones makes it a superior headphone than the Sony 1000 as their call quality has been said to be not that good. In my opinion it comes down to what you want to use the headphones for.
Thank you for discussing the possibility that the headband may get caught in your hair on the Bose Quiet Comfort 35ii. People with hair need to be cautioned. I tested the Bose 700 and really like that it does not have as much pressure on my head. I was in Costco with noisy background and screeching kids and the Bose 700 blocked it out. Pleasant surprise that it was so effective.
My hair keeps getting caught on the QC 35 too I have to wear them all night because of snoring. 😪😩. I’m thinking of upgrading to the 700’s how long does the battery last ?

I just gave my Bose qc 35ii to my dad and got the 700s and I totally regret it. The Bose qc 35 sound way way way better then the 700s and I consider myself an audiophile. The bass is totally lacking on 700s and they sound like they aren’t even made by Bose. They have cool features and look awesome but I’d rather have better sound quality.

I bought my qc 35 in 2016. It is the single most valuable purchase I've made for the last 4 years and now i realize that these headphones are worth every penny you pay. We pay way more for smartphones that barely last.

I think Bose would solve a lot of issues and make lots of audio savvy people happy if they would include sound shaping options in the app. Being locked into a single EQ setting is cruel
Amen. I'm toying with returning my 700's because I can't stand the sound. It's hollow to me. I truly enjoy rap music better with my iphone earbuds than I do with the 700's. They cranked the treble and bass but there's not much in between. For me though the 700's are way to clamped of a fit. They are a better headphone but I have a wide head and the 35's are so much more comfy. It's a battle between the lesser of evils: fit vs, well, everything else and that sucks because fit is really important, but I feel you give up a lot.
I thought most audiophiles' complaint about Bose is that they tweak the sound too much as is. You want to tweak it more?

Fair and honest review, I have the QC 35 and will not be rushing out to buy the 700's. It's got to a point they can't really make it sound any better. I've had lot of different headphones and the QC35 are far the best all round headphones.

One aspect that he missed: wearing glasses. I do and I've been using the QC35 ii for 18 months now, usually many hours a day and never ever reached the point that the would feel uncomfortable. I do not know how the 700s are concerning this aspect though.
Completely agree. I wear glasses and have been able to wear my QC35 ii for 11+ hours without any discomfort. My only problem is that my glasses break the "seal" which makes the noise canceling not work as well as it should (I usually just take them off if I'm just going to listen to music). I wonder if I would benefit from getting the 700s for air travel so I wouldn't have to turn the sound up while watching movies

Just in case anyone's still curious, I can wear glasses comfortably with the 700s for many hours. The earcups are pretty roomy especially towards the back of the ear and I dont notice any discomfort after wearing them for a long time.
I am using bose qc35ii from last one year. I have recently upgraded to bose 700.
The bass in 700s is almost negligible as compared to Bose QC 35ii .
I don’t know why any CZcamsrs have not mentioned it in the review.

@Shyam Bakrania Yeah one thing I wish they would have introduced by now is the make your unique design. Until I tested the 700's I was going to get the Quiet Comfort ii's because for a bit more money you could make your design the only one in the world. Now that I have listened I am ok with one of the three colors offered so far.

@@Sarah1627 I replaced it. I actually got a chance to compare them in the store. The 700 hurt my ears a bit but that may be due to my hyperacusis. Other than that there wasn't too much of a difference besides controls.

Something I would like to see in that kind of review is how it resists to time.
I have a Bose QC35 for 1 year and half now, and I always use it with great care
(always stored in its box, always folded the right way. It has less scratches as
yours on the cups.
BUT: although I use it with great care, the ear cushions are exploded. Both sides.
I can't believe it's such a cheap design. I have an Audiotechnica (regular,
wired) I bought in the early 2000s, with wooden cups. It's still exacrtly the
same as it used to be when I bought it. It was about 400 USD at that time,
but it was really well built.
So if you want to be fair, you may want tu add the price of cushion replacements
every year or so. I'm close to 2 years, and not using it everyday, so I suppose
they would get worn very quiclky for more regular users.
If you want, I can send you pictures of my Bose 35, which might add another
argument for choice.
I know this was a year ago but they sell 10$ earpad replacements that are super easy to replace & last awhile. Made my headphones brand new.
I bought third-party replacement cushions for mine from Wicked Cushions which are perfect replacements and are considered much better than original Bose replacements. They feel exactly the same as Bose! I think they were somewhere between $15 and $18, I can’t remember.

Just bought the QC35 II for $40 out the door at a pawnshop. I'd never heard of them before today but I tried them there and bought them immediately. They'd been sitting at the pawnshop since last Feb. and were originally listed at $190. They're in perfect like new condition. I'm tremendously impressed, since my only other premium headphones I own are the Beats Studio 3's.

I had the QC35ii for a couple of years before I lost them. I've been given the 700 as a gift to replace them, and I have to say that overall I'm satisfied. My only slight complaint (apart from the "pushy" sound, which I've noticed too) is that they tent so slide off my ears more easily: once they've even slipped off my head and fell. I've found this problem way more prominent when I'm wearing my hair down (I have long hair). It's never happened with the QC35 and I think it's because of the hinge design change.
what if you were to shave your hair? do you think sweaty scalp would get sticky and hold it better?
15 min quick charge (when near empty) on qc35 will also give you 2-3 hours of wireless time.

I'm quite late to the video, but I've had both headphones. I slightly prefer the 700s, I was worried that they would hurt my head like some other reviewers mentioned, but I tried them out at Best Buy after my QC 35 ii pair broke after about a year, and it didn't bother me in the slightest. I'd recommend trying both at a store if at all possible; if you prefer the 35s go for them, if you prefer the 700s go for them. If it's a toss up, go for the 35s and save some money.
You can also use the voice assistant button on the QC35 to toggle between noice cancelling levels

The part I just found out last night that sucks is that when charging the q35's won't connect to blue tooth. You can direct connect, just not to bluetooth. Not the end of the world, but worth knowing before purchase

You have a professional and very considerate approach. Also your videos are getting better. One suggestion is to talk about Bluetooth codecs which too many reviewers don’t mention. AAC is best for iOS, but APTX/HD/LDAC is incredible for Android . How can we subscribe to your videos only as I don’t want to receive other videos from Digital Trends?
yea apple refuses to pay licensing to qualcomm or sony for their superior codecs, leaving iOS at the bottom for bluetooth audio until appl release their own hires bt codec.
But there are work arounds with if and ear candy small hires bt adapters for ios and pc mac and android.
The QC35 II is the most ELEGANT headphones in the world.
and I'll buy it just, just for this reason.

This felt straight to the point on some key features.
My personal addition here: I HATE touch-controls. they have an unsolvable issue with having your arm or head on the controls (as touch controls can't differ between arm, shoulder or fingers.), and instead of increasing the volume by 3-5 levels in about 1-2 seconds with a quick array of button presses- you now have to swipe up slowly multiple times.
For precision, speed and Consistency: Mechanical Buttons >>>> Touch/Digital buttons
The Bose 700 app was updated with an added EQ feature and the sound is great.
In the past month Bose released an in app Equaliser for the Bose 700s. Has this made any overall impact for sound quality against the QC35 ii now?

Owning the NC700, the QC25 and QC35 ii already, I decided to try the Sony --XM4 when I found it on sale for Black Friday at around $229 at Best Buy. Didn't open the box for at least 10 days, before putting in time to try them out.
NOPE! The setup was fine, although the earcup pressure on my head was definitely stronger than the Bose. But it was the controls, or should I say the lack of consistent functionality of the controls, that made me pack them back up.
I watch the setup videos and read the manual thoroughly, acting all of the relevant features in the app. BUT! I couldn't get the swipe controls for advancing tracks to work at all. I could only get the swipe up and down on the earcup function for volume control to work less than 10% of the time.
I did like the increase bass from the Sony ...XM4's. But with the NC700 touch control, which have worked flawlessly, I was not willing to handle the disfunction of the Sony ...XM4's.
Fortunately by waiting a few days after Black Friday, the new Bose QC45's went on sale in the White Color, at Best Buy. So I swapped the XM4's for the Bose QC45's.
Honestly, I can't really tell the difference in sound quality between the QC35 and QC45. However, the QC45 has the USB-C charging port, which allows me to carry one less cable and charger when I travel. Because my phone and tablet also use a usb-c port.
Between my NC700 and the QC35ii. I played the same bass heavy song (another one bites the dust) and the QC35ii's definitely had a better punch to them.
Known issue with Bose 700’s. They turn off after 10-20 minutes not detecting any movement. This is reported on their community website with no fix as of today. FYI. You can not sleep in them as they wake u up with “turning off” and a loud chime. I sadly had to return mine. Has nothing to do with the auto off feature. You can have the auto off feature turned to “never” and they still turn off!
With the software update it can be toggle off now.

fyi I used the cc as I always have speaker on mute. yes noise bothers me that much. but is also very helpful for those that have no other option but to use cc. my sister is deaf so cc is very helpful. again thank you for the excellent...amazing video. definitely subscribed.

I just bought on "Black Friday" at Best Buy the QC 35 II in gold for $250.00. The cheaper price made me buy them instead of paying $100.00 more for the 700.
I have a pair of 35’s and use them on planes, buses and, especially on the NY subways. Their noise canceling in all three environments is almost scary. I’ve had subway trains pull into the station and never heard them - or the screeching brakes or other metallic sounds. Love them. Battery life is irrelevant. Unless I’m flying for more than 12 hours what’s the difference. Besides, if I’m fly that long I’m in business class and they have USB and/or AC power available. My musical ear is unrefined so I’m sure either is fine. Bottom line for me is the price difference. For me it’s $400 because I already own the 35’s.
I have tried both of these headphones on (the 700's quite extensively), and the 700's instantly hurt the top of my head however I position the headband.
If you want one of these headphones, do your best to try them on first. The fit entirely depends on your head.

I can't get over the design of the 700's. I know it's futuristic and probably better in some way, but the 35's just look standard and more durable- like big, reliable headphones. That, and the audio jack is a nice touch
Very good fair review. Frank, simple and informative! I ended up getting the Bose 700’s and mainly for the two features U described. Phone call quality,ability to sync to 2 devices. These features allow me to watch videos or listen to music, while excepting and making phone calls using the same headphone. Works great so far. Now are these features Worth $400 ? That’s the question..... Perhaps a $300 to $350 price would have been easier to Embrace. But, it’s only money! LOL!
Love the review, a great mix of fluent casual conversation and professional informative style. I own the QC35 II and one issue I have is with call quality; not so much about the cancelling of noises around me (it does that well enough) but the people on the other side of the call hearing everything else around me to such an extent that they are distracted by my surroundings! In a quiet environment it does not matter. But in a street or train station it is much easier to disable the noise cancelling feature! To what extent do you think the 700 has addressed this issue?

I currently own both of them and use them all day alternating, so I can share my experience with you.
*Sound quality* : Both sound excellent, however I'm no expert. I think the Bose700 sound a bit better, but sincerely I cannot find the difference between both of them most of the time. When I don't remember which of them I'm wearing, I must touch them because I can't distinguish by sound. Both of them can sound very loud and clear.
*Noise cancelling* : Bose700 are better. I live in a noisy street where I work from home and during the day I hear a more ambient noise with the QC35. The difference is notable, but the QC35 are still very good. Although
*Comfort* : Same as before, both of them are very comfortable to the point I just forget I'm wearing them and I can even sleep with them.
*Audio Calls* : When using Bose700 for phone calls I often receive comments on the other side about they can't hear me. This is not the case for QC35, but I've never checked this in detail. The sound in my side is clearly better for Bose700 though.
*Interface* : I prefer the physical buttons of QC35 over touchpad style Bose700, but this is very personal. When I first got my Bose700 I really hated them, but now I think better of them. I prefer the touchpad for volume changing, but I miss a physical ON/OFF switch. I even like the double touch for pause/play although I usually activate it by mistake, the same as skip song.
*App* : Both devices use different apps. I think the one for Bose700 is a bit better, mainly because equalization, but I don't use it. Also Bose700 have 10 different noise cancellation levels and Bose35 only offers Off, Low and High. I don't care about this because I always use both of them in max level of cancellation. However when i'm in a car with the windows open, the Bose700 sound awful because of the wind, the same as QC35 on High. But QC35 on low sound perfect, it only filters the wind noise and this cannot achieve with any noise cancellation level in Bose700.
*Others* : There is however one last aspect which in which QC35 are better by a loooot. I don't know if my product has a factory problem or what, but the Bose700 have several problems. When I'm connected to two devices at the same time I can hear interference, so in practice I only connect to one device. However bluetooth is always a bit problematic when using with multiple devices, often the Bose App can't find them when it is supposed to. It happens less in Bose700, and also closing and opening the app (in an iphone 8) always fix the problem for the Bose700 but not for the QC35.
*Summary* : When you consider everything there are a lot of things in which one of them is better than the other, and it depends on what is more important for you. The sound experience is a bit better in Bose700, but somehow I had a much better opinion of Bose headphones in general when I only had the QC35.

The QC35 and QC35ii have a bug that induces white noice when using skype, facetime, and goto meeting on macOS. The Bose case number is #10318. This is not a bug on iOS. This is not a bug on the 700.
I watched your video and decided to return the 35 and get the 700. The whole unboxing experience was amazing! The way the headphones sit in the case is better! Where the cables are stored is better! They feel luxurious! I had trouble with the 35 on a flight. I could not hear words, only music. I appreciated all the technical stuff you covered, but next time talk about the practical things like the functionality of the case. I think the case and is worth the $50 difference.
Good video! I have a very specific question about the noise cancelling and overall volume between the two. I have the QC 35’s but want more volume and noise cancelling to drown out the crappy music played at my gym. The reason is very few songs are enough of a wall of music to completely wipe out the gym music, even at full volume (I wear earplugs too, so I am not worried about hearing damage). Essentially, the louder the better and if there is more noise cancelling on top of that, even better. I have tried the most obvious route of asking them to turn down the music since 90% or more of the people in there have earbuds or headphones, but the gym owner is stubborn.
Go to another gym... You will stop giving your money to a *** at the same time....

I bought the 700 and returned them a month later. Really REALLY wanted to like them but ended up hating them.
I do think head and ear shape play a huge factor into what is comfortable for people so my experience may be totally off from yours.
The 700 my ears became hot and sweaty and just plain horrible to wear after a relatively short period of time. The main reason for dumping the 700 was the horrible app and your ability to easily switch from several devices. I bought the 700 purely for when I travel (I travel a lot). The 700 would not let me switch from my laptop to my iPad during a long flight without using the app (wtf why do I need an app to use my headphones) well on overseas flight wifi is not always on so could not switch. Fortunately I could still use my phone but not what I wanted to use for the remaining 6 hours of my flight. Bought the 35ii and found them so much more comfortable , no more sweating from the ears for me!!!
The 700 were decent for phone calls the 35's are useless and I just use a phone headset with attached small boom mic instead.

My research keeps turning up opposing 'facts' on which weighs more. So far, I have 2 review sites stating the 700 weighs more, and 2 stating the QC35 weighs more. Amazon stats on the items themselves state the 700 actually weighs slightly more (~ 1/2 oz) than the QC35: which I believe is in contradiction to what you stated in the video. Any updates on this?
QC 35ii all the way. More comfortable, less weight and smaller folding headphones more convenient.

Hi Caleb, if you want a challenging new video topic to make, please try explaining how to make a video doorbell appear on a Smart TV as a momentary overlay. No brand specific. In 2019 there must be something out there by now that can do this. Preferably an overlay of the doorbell camera feed instead of fully changing the HDMI source as to not interrupt a movie. Some kind of an automatic camera feed pop-up without the user needing to engage the remote control. Also if the overlay could be a customizable that would be great. (e.g. adjustable pop-up duration 15-60 seconds, thumbnail size, etc.)
I have the NC 700, they broke after 8 months of use. Battery issue. If you read the forums its a huge problem for these headphones. Luckily still under Warranty. The Bose repair place I went to told me they get at least one or 2 a day! Bose is keeping this very quiet. My Wife has the QC35 II and I have a pair of the QC25 all working fine. I think they went to market to early or cheapened out on the batteries they put on the first batch. On the Bose forums there are people that have swapped them 3 times! all with the same problem.. Not Cool. I think they are a good headphone with a huge problem...If I had to do it again, I would have stuck with the QC35 II, less hassles.

You really should mention something about the soundlekage to the surroundings, thats a important factor for many.
Thanks for this review, just ordered the Bose QC 35 II. Tried ordering cheap bluetooth headphones and they would work well for a few months then mess up. Went back to wired headphones but while I'm playing games sometimes if it's intense the headphones will get yanked out accidentally, it's really annoying. It would also be nice to walk into the kitchen and still listen to whatever content I'm listening to. Fingers crossed these Bose QC 35 II's last me longer than 6 months.
I currently own both of them and use them all day alternating, so I can share my experience with you.
*Sound quality*: Both sound excellent, however I'm no expert. I think the Bose700 sound a bit better, but sincerely I cannot find the difference between both of them most of the time. When I don't remember which of them I'm wearing, I must touch them because I can't distinguish by sound. Both of them can sound very loud and clear.
*Noise cancelling*: Bose700 are better. I live in a noisy street where I work from home and during the day I hear a more ambient noise with the QC35. The difference is notable, but the QC35 are still very good. Although
*Comfort*: Same as before, both of them are very comfortable to the point I just forget I'm wearing them and I can even sleep with them.
*Audio Calls*: When using Bose700 for phone calls I often receive comments on the other side about they can't hear me. This is not the case for QC35, but I've never checked this in detail. The sound in my side is clearly better for Bose700 though.
*Interface*: I prefer the physical buttons of QC35 over touchpad style Bose700, but this is very personal. When I first got my Bose700 I really hated them, but now I think better of them. I prefer the touchpad for volume changing, but I miss a physical ON/OFF switch. I even like the double touch for pause/play although I usually activate it by mistake, the same as skip song.
*App*: Both devices use different apps. I think the one for Bose700 is a bit better, mainly because equalization, but I don't use it. Also Bose700 have 10 different noise cancellation levels and Bose35 only offers Off, Low and High. I don't care about this because I always use both of them in max level of cancellation. However when i'm in a car with the windows open, the Bose700 sound awful because of the wind, the same as QC35 on High. But QC35 on low sound perfect, it only filters the wind noise and this cannot achieve with any noise cancellation level in Bose700.
*Others*: There is however one last aspect which in which QC35 are better by a loooot. I don't know if my product has a factory problem or what, but the Bose700 have several problems. When I'm connected to two devices at the same time I can hear interference, so in practice I only connect to one device. However bluetooth is always a bit problematic when using with multiple devices, often the Bose App can't find them when it is supposed to. It happens less in Bose700, and also closing and opening the app (in an iphone 8) always fix the problem for the Bose700 but not for the QC35.
*Summary*: When you consider everything there are a lot of things in which one of them is better than the other, and it depends on what is more important for you. The sound experience is a bit better in Bose700, but somehow I had a much better opinion of Bose headphones in general when I only had the QC35.

I have both of them, and for my experience i would say that the bose have a bit clearer sound. And the xm3 have more full sound with better base. (Srry my english)

Thank you for this video. It was exactly what I needed. I've had the Q35 for about five years and loved them and used them constantly. The interior of the cups began to wear terribly after so much use so I began shopping for a replacement. After some reading I chose the NC 700 which I received today (they were almost $100 off during an Amazon early black Friday deal 🙂) It took me a while to figure out the button and to discover the swipe function. I admit to rarely using the buttons on the Q35 because it was always too much trouble to remember which button did what while wearing them. I can easily do the functions on the NC700 and I'm looking forward to that. Now to figure out how to use Alexa as my assistant. 🙂 Thanks again!

You said with the 50 bucks difference you would get them, but if you already had bought the QC35 would you pay $400 just to upgrade? If my QC35 broke then I'd buy the 700's, I have this same problem with most tech my 8 year old HD TV is going strong and has a very good picture quality I don't see the point spending 3k for the next tv when the pictures really not that much better, suppose tech is that good now up grades or the next best really is not that much a step forward as the marketing people want you to believe. Give me sound wirelessly beamed into my scull and holographic TV then I'm rushing out to buy it, for now I buy quality and skip a few generations of tech before I buy again, continuously buying the next best is not good for the bank account and the "up-grades" are minimal at best.
My Qc 35 takes max 80 mins to charge to 100 and remains so for a long time. Also right now they seem good enough as they can fold in my bag. I’ve lost the case long back.

I've had the QC25 and QC35 for a total span of about 15 years. And I just got the QC35 IIs for my wife. Someone offered me 50% at Bose, so I'm thinking about getting a new pair. Since I use mine for 95% air travel, I'm going to try the 700s this time around. I guess I'll still have the 3 other Bose QC models as backups tho. My only complaint about all the QC25/35s is that because I only shave once a week and I have a shaved head, I think my stubble starts to wear down the soft material on the ears and the material that's on the top of my head as well.

that "10 hours" will gain significance when your battery inevitably starts taking on wear.
i've had the qc ii for almost 3 years and used them every day and the battery always goes over 20h. Sound quality is way better than the sonys.
@@th30N I've had the Sony for a year. The Bose was slightly more comfortable to wear but I chose the Sony because their noise cancelling seemed better, while the sound quality is still damn good. Some reviews place the Sony above the Bose for sound quality. I couldn't tell the difference honestly. I compared both but the Sony noise cancelling was better in my opinion and NC is more important to me than sound. I wear them all day long because I have asshole neighbors.
I noticed the difference in the sound signature right away. Returning the 700's and sticking with the QC 35's.
Had the qc35II first used for communicating on the underground and they always done a great job of blocking out the noise, switched when the 700s where realise and it was my biggest mistake, noise cancelling is about the same but definite downgrade in audio quality and not nearly enough bass compared to the old ones, also a small thing but the qc35s where made of metal compared to the 700s being made of plastic and to me the metal gave off a more quality feel
I own bose quietcomfort 35 ll for two years. Bose has solved the problem with the update that ruined the nc. They are great and not bass heavy I tried sennheiser, sony; b&w but the sounds drains me. I don't know how te explain it otherwise. It's either too pearcing, not enough sound stage or bass heavy. These are perfect. I'm sensitive for noise and bright lights so even a noise cancelling headphone has to have a mellow?sound. The battery still lasts for days on one charge and I use it everyday for two years for at least 3 hours a day. I only changed the earpads with original bose ones. The wrong fit of different foam on cheaper ones changes the sound and nc.
