I don't understand the huge quality gaps tho - on the one hand, we have the Trespasser and Plasma, and on the other hand, we have stuff like the Shaft (Q3 LG) and Joker (Q2 GL). If they made all of them to the same quality and let me just directly purchase them I'd have done so.

I'd rather choose the Boomstick as the classic SS. Man, I also wish they put some more Doom weapons here. Why couldn't they? I'd love to see Eternal's heavy mg and good ol' Doom 3 shotgun. :D
I was thinking the same thing. And the Q2 chaingun does not translate into the HMG role very well. There are some other skins - like the Q2 hyperblaster - that are quite strange considering how good the others are.
Great video dude, love how many of the old weapons have been remade, plus retaining the sound effects. Thanks for the update video. Say, any chance of you showcasing all the character skins? If possible, have them all in the same set with all the accessories shown, and maybe have the cursor linger on their icons for a few seconds so we can read the lore? If not, understandable, just a suggestion, man.

A lot of the customization videos I've seen seemed to be outdated because from the glimpses I saw, the descriptions were describing something else, so Item A's description is actually for Item B, for instance. Surely they've fixed that by now. And outdated because obviously they don't have whatever new stuffs they have right now lol By the way, do the weapon skins have lore descriptions? I honestly don't remember. I know the older fans can definitely comment on which skins originated from which entry but not everybody cares about the lore of each weapons to even remember them... Oh! I just remembered each characters have their own lores, 10 collectibles detailing their stories or something plus a single image of an item related to them. Hope you'll be able to squeeze them into the same video. Thanks for replying man, no need to rush and take your time making it.
Despite skins looking really good, I just can't get over how bad the RL explosion still is. It sounds more like an oversized firecracker rather than a proper rocket, and it completely lacks any meaningful impact. What a disaster.
All the Quake 1, 2, and 3 Weapons are all just really great... I wish that a few of the double barrel shotguns had some reload animations. Like the Doom double barrel shotgun especially. I thought that there was a Doom chainsaw...but hopefully there will be one for the Gauntlet skin... Maybe a Quake 1 Axe too!
I really wish the netcode was halfway decent so I could still play this game....should have taken the netcode from Q2 or Q3 instead of having Saber do it. I think this has the best multiplayer in the series, but I reckon I'll just be playing Q2 enhanced instead because it actually registers things despite ping differences of 100ms. When you go to your champions, there should be a customization tab. Go there, and there should be a weapon tab. That should show you all the weapons and the skins.

The Doom 3 shotgun would be an instant hit! I would definitely prefer using that over any of the current SS skins we have now.

There's a very quiet ambient sound of water splashing inside the gun. Not as noticeable as the typical LG hum.
