Great post, newly subscribed and looking forward to checking out your older uploads. Oddly, I wasn't really into live music in my youth (though my first album was KISS Alive) but since becoming a huge Grateful Dead fan, live music is my preference so thanks for this list. Most pleased to see Europe 72 in your top 10 I guess its time to make some more purchases. Love all the groups represented here, just never bought the live albums with the exception of GD, Dylan and ABB, so thank you again for the inspiration.
Great list! Glad you included Hendrix at Monterey and Dylan '66. Amazing shows! You have great taste. I'm going to have to check out the ones I'm not familiar with. I'm sure I'll like them all! \m/
You sir have excellent taste in music and I couldn't agree more with your list of albums and you know the crazy part is I couldn't have picked a better list of albums then what you did, it almost like we have the same taste in music....👍
Based on your choices, I'd recommend Hawkwind : Space Ritual, Outlaws : Bring It Back Alive, Status Quo : Live, Rainbow : On Stage, Kansas : Two For the Show (2CD version) and Nazareth : Snaz. Cheers!
Love Live Bootleg! Mother Popcorn is a showcase for Steven Tyler's incredible screams live! Always assumed those were marks left by a cup of coffee. I'd bet dimes to dollars that's what they were going for.
Nice list. Royal Albert Hall, Europe 72, No Sleep Til Hammersmith, Alive, Speak of the Devil and Filmore East probably all make my top ten live albums, though if not, pretty damn close. My two favorite live albums are: Leon Russell - Leon Live Bill Withers - Live at Carnegie Hall
Great list! Ya Ya's would be my #1 as well, although I do love Brussels from the Goat's Head Soup Deluxe and Get Yer Leeds Lungs Out from the Sticky Fingers Super Deluxe set. My #2 is Fillmore East as well. I have the complete Fillmore box but I return to the original more often than that, same with Budokan. I have the Complete Concert but the original is a classic for a reason!
Excellent video, thou personally I would have put 'Tribute' over 'Speak of the Devil' and my opinion both 'Live Evil' and 'If You Want Blood You've Got It' would have rated way higher. BTW watched lot of your videos and enjoyed them, like the fact your musical taste are very broad
Deep Purple in Concert at the bbc is a revalation.Very raw, very powerful.I prefer it to MIJ in terms of sonic overload.Mandrake Root and Wring that Neck are especially phenomenal.
Solid… Live Rust James Gang Live In Concert Zappa New York Zappa Fillmore East Zappa Roxy & Elsewhere (Take yer pick) BÖC Some Enchanted Evening Rock and Roll Animal Band of Gypsys
I bought GET YER YA-YAS OUT in 1976 when I was but 14. Vinyl. No decent turntable these days so I went after the cd at a shop a few years ago. They couldn't get it. Brother-in-law ended up burning an anniversary edition of it for me two years ago. Still smokes. Number one. Like your show.
I know about Dylan's Visions of Johanna and much Stones trivia but I didn't know that. Intrigued, I had to see for myself. The Ya-Ya's album cover is too vague to show everything clearly---so I located some Ya-Ya's cover outtake photos online. One helpful portrait revealed a total of four items hanging from the mule's neck, nothing on its head but a bridle harness: a pair of binoculars, a camera case, a Gibson SG and a string of ball-shaped sleigh bells. Interesting theory though, guv.
Some other killer live albums: Humble Pie - Rockin the Fillmore Stones - Get Your Ya Yas Out Hendrix - Winterland Yes - Yessongs Thin Lizzy - LiveLife Ozzy - Tribute Zeppelin - How the West Was Won and Song Remains

You’ll see a lot of the same bands pop up twice, and that’s because the bands who can make one good live album tend to make a second. 25) Are You Ready? - Cheap Trick 24) Live After Death - Iron Maiden 23) No Sleep Till Hammersmith - Motörhead 22) Alive III - KISS 21) If You Want Blood You’ve Got It - AC/DC 20) Tokyo Dome - Van Halen 19) Live - Foghat 18) Double Live Gonzo - Ted Nugent 17) Nine Tonight - Bob Seger 16) Unplugged - KISS 15) The Song Remains The Same - Led Zeppelin 14) Exit... Put that at like 5 or something, there’s so many I forgot. Also I add everything that you put cuz I love all these albums
Get Your Ya Yas isn’t live at all. It was made because lots of people were getting rich selling bootlegs. High quality concert boots. Some put Ya Yas to shame. Good list. Missing some great ones.
The Marshall Tucker Band WHERE WE ALL BELONG, J Geils Band FULL HOUSE, ZZ Top FANDANGO, Chicago LIVE AT CARNEGIE, Earth, Wind & Fire GRATITUDE.
Great post, newly subscribed and looking forward to checking out your older uploads.

Lou Reed Rock and roll animal
Absolutely agree With You. Get Yer Ya Yas Out. Best live album ever In my opinion. Rock n Roll.
They are all my favorite live albums, many of which I listen to every day!
It's wonderful.
Ten Years After recorded live, Little Feat Waiting For Columbus, Yes, Yessongs, Rory Gallagher Irish Tour 74...
Good list but surely UFO Strangers In The Night should be Number 1
Number one Made in Japan, after that UFO, Strangers in the Night, absolutely.
Yes I am happy to go along with that " Keep on rocking "
Great list! Glad you included Hendrix at Monterey and Dylan '66. Amazing shows! You have great taste. I'm going to have to check out the ones I'm not familiar with. I'm sure I'll like them all! \m/

Great rankings video
Thank you, and thanks for watching
Nicely varied list. I wondered if you would have Hendrix in there, and figured you wouldn't, but happy to see l was wrong. 👍

Yes, forgot to mention that about Budokan. Plus that Budokan deluxe has a different album cover. Can’t mess with the original it’s a classic
So many great albums there and plenty that I haven't owned or listened to.
My most listened too is If You Want Blood.
JERRY LEE LEWIS - Live at the Star Club Hamburg 1964
Seconds Out & Exit Stage Left…the best, no contest.
Deep Purple in Concert at the bbc is a revalation.Very raw, very powerful.I prefer it to MIJ in terms of sonic overload.Mandrake Root and Wring that Neck are especially phenomenal.
You should do a rush ranking! I’d love to see it
It’s coming! Stay tuned

Nice to see someone your age giving some love to GFR.
One of my favorite bands, Mel Schacher in my top 3 bassists
@@garyoftheelysiums2589 Same here. "People Let's Stop the War" - love that thick fat bass sound he gets.
LIVE AT LEEDS is great(I've had the lp since the mid 70s),but it always sounded like it wasn't recorded loudly enough.
Blue Oyster Cult: "An Enchanted Evening" is by far their best live album.
The cover of Ya-Ya's was inspired by the Dylan lyric jewels and binoculars hang from the head of the mule
I know about Dylan's Visions of Johanna and much Stones trivia but I didn't know that. Intrigued, I had to see for myself.

The Kinks..One For the Road. It is awesome.
" I think I bust a button on me trousers."
PJ Live on Two Legs??
Rock n Roll Animal Lou Reed - staggering good especially Herion
I originally had 50 albums in this video, but had some problems uploading so I narrowed it down to 25. I could easily do 100!
No complaints at all....
1. Ozzy at budokan
2. Jinjer at Melbourne
3. Metallica s&m II
Those are my top three
Everything good, but if you listening with earbads is annoying the sound of your surround...!Please fix it.Greetings from Greece
Another absent classic which should be considered is whitesnake, live in the heart of the city.

You’ll see a lot of the same bands pop up twice, and that’s because the bands who can make one good live album tend to make a second.
