Today I listened to Eva Cassidy Live at Blues Alley for the first time. Recorded in a small club in 96, beautiful recording, great jazzy backing band!

I proudly agree with most of your picks, especially Allman Brothers Fillmore East as well as Sinatra at the Sands! I enjoy them both at night where everything is quiet! And Diana Krall's "Let's Fall in Love" is so stellar!

I think this was a limited edition, so maybe hard to find, but it is such an amazing live album. Steven Wilson- Catalogue/Preserve/Amass. Recorded live in Europe, 2011. Also, Bryan Ferry - Live in Lyon, France. (I think it is only on a DVD, but the sound is amazing as well as his song choices.

It took me a long time to want to go see a band because i agree with you, what's the point? I HAVE THEIR ALBUM! Even Jagger famously said in an interview at Altamont "I think the concert's an excuse to get together and blah blah" etc. The Doors Absolutely Live the 2 LP version please. is missing. 21:03 You accidentally or (accidently depending on where you live) said Albert Lee instead of Arthur Lee but I'm guessing Albert Lee, every day, had people ask him about playing at Woodstock! it was Alvin Lee

    • @AllAboutAlbums
