- It happened AGAIN. I hopped on fb market and boom the add of the year pops up. # fosgate subs and 1000 watt amp for $100 is all it said. I messaged and said ill give you $130. Not knowing what amp they were talking about. I got there to pick it up and almost lost my cookies!!! It is the Infamous XTANT X1001 Amplifier! This amp goes for $600-$700 Still today! This video shows what I found and we check to see if it all works. Remember to check back and see what else we find!!!!
Ayy. Sexxy find. actually have a the original 2002 magazine featuring the Xtant 202m 404, 1001 and the octagonal beasts. pretty sure it's the same issue that has my orion hcca 10" first gen. "Auto Sound & Security November 2002: 44-48". It's put up otherwise I'd glance
Wired each sub how they are in the video..to 4 ohms each...but then parallel..each sub to the next...be around 1-1.3 ohm final load ...unless the coils are less than 4ohm Re..probably 3.7 a piece depending on how much resistance is in the wire u use.. So maybe .8 ohm but no big deal because of box rise...

My 2010 VW CC turbo sport has the K04 turbo it's ridiculously quick lol. I love it.. and btw I found and picked up a Brand new Rockford Fosgate power T2 15 D2 Silver face 1st gen T2. It was still in plastic in the factory Fosgate Shipping box....... It's brand brand new clean as hell no scratches no dents no dirt no dust nothing lol. I traded a Skar VXf 15" for it... And holy shit it's loud I love that woofer

Gain is more like a input voltage control from head unit to amplifier…
You set the gain by the jumpers (for proper range) and pot to dial-in. The crossover frequencies are changed by those black resistor packs (SIP) and accessories were available for different features (parametric EQ, balanced lines, higher slope crossover, etc).
