    Just to make it clear, the Polish General has not been proven guilty of anything as of this moment. As stated in the video, we do not know what was discovered by Polish authorities that caused them to start an investigation into his security clearance. All we know is that he has been dismissed from his post as the Eurocorps commander and replaced based on something concerning discovered by investigators.
    We should withhold passing judgement until more details are made public. He is innocent until proven guilty.

    I would not jump to the conclusion its a security concern, it could simply be Polish political issues. The new PM as soon as he came to power attempted to arrest political opposition, violated pardons, seized TV stations and closed them, ignored court orders and threatened to eliminate the Supreme Court. This general could have been politically opposed to him and thus may be getting purged which would be the next likely step from PM Tusk, purging of the military, he has pretty much copied Brazil's Lula since he came to power so the military would be next. There has been word the Tusk regime wanted to cancel some of its military orders from South Korea and perhaps replace it with orders of German equipment (which is notorious for taking many YEARS to fill orders), Tusk is VERY pro German, it could be simply this general was very opposed to that. We should wait to hear all the facts from both sides in Poland.

Russia and Ukraine are 1 and 2....3rd should have told those that speak english, that the airbase WILL NOT be in Ukraine...
      now let me be that know it all that has to spoon feed you. Why would These fighters NOT be in Ukraine, to keep them from being destroyed? oh yea, most obvious answer. If they are based outside of Ukraine, they won't be attacked is the mind set.

If you base actively attacking a/c in your country, you are dealing yourselves into a conflict and become a legit military target. _That_ is truly "provocation." If you are attacked at that point, I'm not even sure if Article 5 even applies. But if you are simply _transiting_ said planes through your country to final bases in Ukraine, any attack on you for just "hosting" the a/c is legitimately _unprovoked,_ and the full force of Article 5 applies.

    I hate to be the devil`s advocate, but that is not doublespeak he says FIGHTERS launched from third country are a legitimate targets. If they fly in into a combat zone then... yes? Of course they are a valid target. Same issue happened with mig 29s, the fighters themselves will be moved via land, just like those and other planes.
    To make it even more clear: Pootin speaks about the airplanes being a valid target. Also a neutral country effectively launching a combat mission against ruzzia is legally an aggressor too.

It is possible but a clearance of his level can be canceled over many reasons that have nothing at all to do with any doubts of his word to Poland NATO or any other ally . Even an affair or girlfriend or owing some bills like unpaid parking tickets can do it . Funny but not funny at a party on man a little to much to drink , his friend pulled down his pants and someone took a picture . Clearance gone . Not only do you lose an aircraft, you also lose the trained pilot with years of valuable experience. US estimates that training a military pilot costs at least $5 million. Prerequisite q to training is a university degree. Operational cost per hour, including ground support, is measured in the tens of thousands of dollars. So shooting down your own planes all the time, is beyond wasteful.

      @@akosyoutub so Ukrainian pilots are already fast jet fighter pilots, usually in Mig 29, or Sukhoi 27. They have already been through training, and only need to adapt to the new aircraft, plus the English language symbology. The last part, how do you spin an obstacle, because Russian and Ukrainian pilots are used to Cyrillic. Problem for Russian pilots, is that they only fly about 100 hours a year during peacetime. That is less than two hours a week. It’s always been a problem since 1990. Americans fly about 200 hours a year, about four hours a week. Americans also supplement their actual flight training with simulators, to simulate operation, such as takeoffs and landings. I don’t know what where the Russian pilots use simulators.
      Simulator time is not cheap, but is a common practice in both commercial and military flying in the United States. Flying any modern jet requires familiarity with numerous Diles, switches, etc. A dedicated simulator helps you accomplish this.

    Here is my idea of how to end the Russia-Ukraine War in 1-2 years. First, Ukraine ought to mobilize one additional million soldiers, 500 thousand of which are dedicated to infantry soldiers for fighting in trenches, the rest is used for rotation of the frontline combat soldiers, and when the Ukrainian armed forces can retake all of the territory back including Crimea, then NATO can officially declare accepting Ukraine's expedited application for joining NATO Alliance. The Ratification should start right away shortly after so that NATO can move its troops into Ukraine to guard all of Ukraine's borders.

    • @katsarosfiat
      @katsarosfiat Před 2 měsíci

      They don't have the ability to mobilize 1m soldiers. I doubt they can even mobilize 100000. Don't forget that mobilizing civilians doesn't automatically make them soldiers. They need training, and to train 1m men is a collosal task. Even Russia with 4 times the population of Ukraine and much more training capabilities can mobilize 200-300 thousand once at best.

But I also agree with the logic that Russian aircraft at Belarus are also a legitimate target for Ukraine It would just be really stupid to go after those unless absolutely neccesary. This is also why I think the Saab Gripen would be a great option. Atleast more practical.

    3:14 That is not what he said. He said if Ukrainian F-16s are running sorties from airbases in NATO countries he would consider those airbases combatant zones. That is not an unreasonable assertion. If NATO allows Ukraine to use our airbases to stage F-16 attacks on Russia that would be an escalation on our part. I doubt they have the operational ability to effectively strike at any NATO airbases but he would not be wrong about that being a dangerous thing for us to do. Ukraine will need to use airbases in their own territory unless NATO is ready to escalate.
