I know a funny story about Noel. His Mrs is from my city. He was in a boozer with his father in law and a few of his father in laws mates. One of them was just back from the high seas which is where he usually is but he was back onshore and in the boozer with his old pals. Noel was being polite and asking him about his work etc etc. He told him what he did and what his job involved etc etc. He then turned round to Noel and asked him what he did for a living. True story.

There's been conflicting rumours over the years on whether it was Liam or Noel that fired Alan White. Noel mentioned in an interview a few years years ago Alan needed to sort his life out, or something along those lines.
He had to have brain surgery after getting a kick in with liam in munich and from that point on he had no desire to be in the band, didnt socialise after gigs with them and disagreed with noel drim loops eg go let it out, most of the standing on shoulders album and a bit of heathern. Long story short and as much as i love noel and liam...whitey had enough of them pricks and wanted out and got a lump sum for doing so.
