You can swipe down from the top to close apps, you need to enable tablet mode from the action center (notification center). I'm not sure if this is working on this build, they showed off continuum where you can detach or fold back the keyboard and Windows 10 will enter tablet mode.
Did you get any issues on the Surface after doing a clean install of this preview? My device constantly flickers. Apparently, there is a bad video driver that needs to be updated.
you know what i do not get, Windows 7 is perfect, is does everything without any hassle, nothing in windows 7 is forced upon you, so why would anybody think its a good idea to move on from windows 7 to other operating systems that are just 100% annoying and frustrating from start to finish?
Because Windows 10 is free and comes with a lot new features and also a longer service support! Multi-Desktop, DX 12, Faster, ... if you don't know why you should switch, maybe you should not do it! But i can tell you, it looks like it's going to be the best Windows ever!
Because Windows 10 is free, works MUCH better on touchscreen devices, brings in support for apps from the Windows Store, Direct X12, it's MUCH MUCH MUUUCH faster than Windows 7, it has Cortana built-in and much more
Alan Wake That's what they always say, it's best to wait it least 1 year until there are some service packs out to make it behave like it should have from launch. The reason it is free is 8 was so shit that people are rejecting it, and now MS knows that they can not charge a fortune for shitty software, so now they give it away free to hope more will switch to it compared to 8.
PlNKUHOSHI That's part of the reason, but the competition is offering up free OS updates for life. They have to keep up, it's the way software is going now.
