Unfortunately I sold my iPad to get a surface Pro. Yes Duet Display is an awesome app. Loved the ability to use my iPad as an extended display for my work laptop especially since I travel a lot for work and miss the dual monitors back at the office. I thought for sure the Surface Pro would have an equivalent app to allow use as an extended display since I figured it's still a tablet. Android and ios have such apps but nothing for Windows. In short I think the Surface is an excellent piece of hardware but a lousy mobile tablet. It just really isn't a tablet replacement until it gets more and better apps, case in point

I'm running Windows 10 on my SP4 and Splashtop only supports mirroring mode with Win10 i.e. no extended display so it's useless for me. I also tried Mouse Without Borders which is just a buggy POS. I don't have admin rights on my work laptop and the IT department is getting sick of me asking to install experimental software. lol

Hmm, im really thinking of buying this app, but the fact that i have a Ipad Mini 2 holds me back a little. but a little second screen can come on handy everyday.
+Paul LastLevelTech I use it for after effects and preimiere with my iPad mini retina. that way i can have the preview on the ipad. and have more space for editing on the laptop.
Not working for me, any idea why when I get to the step to plug it in, I do so and it doesnt recognize it, it just does nothing keeps saying Connect to a Mac or PC. Never connects.
Whenever I try to open the website I get an error message, IDK if I'm doing something wrong or not, so if someone could help that would be very much appreciated! :D
Hi Paul. Can you use the touch keyboard on the iPad when connected to your PC? As in, when you have a webpage opened on the iPad and touch the search bar, will the iPad keyboard pop up?
If you have a proper desktop and you are concerned about buying this app, just buy another monitor. It works for me I have a 1920x1080 monitor in front of me and a small square monitor next to it (resolution Unknown) it's old but it really helps because I can have Skype on the small monitor and a game or something on the other.

BUT when I switch to extended options: the only display on my ipad is the background and the mouse courser. I really need the extended display to work on my Ipad properly. Please tell me hoe to fix this problem? And when I choose "Mirror Display" The resolution on PC Monitor is not kept as it is and is changed. I'm using Windows 7 64x Ultimate.

Aside from the slight lag when dragging stuff i'd say it's pretty good. Everything looks a bit pixelated up close however.

Can you run pc games on the Duet Display, like Warcraft or League of Legends? And can you use it as cam cam?
If it's still relevant, you can try Steam Link application to play games from Steam on your iPad/iPhone.
