I honestly don’t really want a D4… I kinda want it but I feel like I won’t like it as much but who knows I might… I kinda have moved on from Descendants… I remember watching D2 and D3 with my brother. I feel how D3 ending was the best way to end it… it’s gonna be so weird without Dove, Sophia, Boo-boo, and especially Cameron 😭

I totally agree, and I think that Cameron would like to have his voice on there. They can use a voice recorder and make his character an angle or fairy, and someone can change their voice into his voice to be the fairy's voice.
Only one person from the original real is going to appear and I am pretty sure Kenny Ortega isn’t going to direct it so why would he be proud it is not gonna have anything to do with the descendants he was apart of the only thing they are doing is using the cloud from the descendants movies and ruining what we will remember as the last descendants movie so if they really wanted to do something with descendants they could have made a movie about the original cast when they are older and maybe Carlos is dead and the cast need to find out how and who did it who knows but use it to give some type of memory to him this is just wrong and all about money

I think Descendents is a show for the family and kids to watch. It's has great music and values. Keep up the filming of Descendents 4 (coming in 2024) and Descendents 5. Rest in Peace Cameron Boyce.

I think that if they're adding a new cast then they may as well do a Descendants reboot, but I don't think it'll be the same without Sofia, Dove, Boo-boo and Cameron but who knows I might actually like it
I like the idea that they are continuing by adding new characters instead of having the main 4 do another adventure. Their story came to a close with 3, plus I can understand them not wanting to return after the passing of Cameron. So it does give Disney a chance to let us see more kids from our favorite characters. Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite stories so I'm excited to see Red! Also I loved Brandy in her 1997 Cinderella movie, so seeing her be Cinderella again will be awesome!

I loved her in that movie too however, having her return as Cinderella would ruin my view of her in that character as both she and
Paolo Montalban as Prince Charming are anything but how Chad is portrayed. How did he become so self centered, spoiled, snotty and over all brat with those two as his parents? It just doesn’t add up.
Cinderella is white in the Disney franchise. Also, isn't Chad, a white guy, supposed to be the son of Cinderella and Charming? Stop replacing whites with blacks. It's racist and you're confusing kids.

I’m so excited for the character Red, Kylee Cantrell is such a good actor.😊 And yes I’m very excited, I gave up on Descendants completely because other movies were coming out, and I was sad when I heard about Cameron’s death, but I’m excited that a Descendants 4 is releasing soon. I never knew Cameron passed away! This makes me so sad. I loved seeing him in movies and shows. He was such a great actor and he will always be loved and remembered. 😢❤

When I watched decedent 3 I think I remember seeing it saying like in memory of Cameron or something but i remember it saying that he died
I found it out like 5 months ago or something and it was so painfull to Watch Dove before and after Cameron but Yeah it was just so sad so Yeah rest in peace Cameron❤

I have followed descendants from young and it has been my favorite movie for quite a while now. Cameron Boyce’s death was a tragedy to us all. I think D4 will be rather exciting but earlier I sort of gave up on the series after Cameron’s death. I’m really hope this turns out good and it is as interesting as the last one! ❤

I know that some Disney fans are upset that Disney decided to continue with the Descendants franchise after the death of Cameron Boyce. I would love to see Descendants 4 happen but it might be different from the existing ones and won't be the same without Cameron Boyce. I don't know if this is actually going to be the last one of the Descendants franchise or there's going to be more later on after Descendants 4 debuts.
Here’s to hoping they don’t pull a fast and furious or oceans and give us like 50 movies

it seems as if we’re just shifting the focus on other people’s stories so there will probably be at least one more movie after D4 to wrap up the story of red and chloe
Honestly, I get Cameron has passed at a young age from Epilepsy…. but I think leaving his story untouched is a bit crude. They could have done something sweet like wrote the script to say he and Jane found a nice place and Auradon and decided to focus on their Magical 3D Printing business and they could have left it like that. While I understand it’s tragic and sudden, they could have used this opportunity to not only do some form of memorial (which I hope they did) for Cameron but put $1 from each individual sale of the future DVD to the Epilepsy Foundation of America in Cameron’s honor, maybe that would have made the OG 3 want to come back. While I also am looking at them honorably for not wanting to return for the movie, it is what rose them to superstardom and like Mary Kate and Ashley, I do find it a bit rude towards fans that they don’t want to close out their chapters with a cameo.
I also blame the fans for riding the wave of Cameron’s passing so hard that it probably pushed Dove, Boo-Boo, and Sophia to not want to come back.
Yes it’s sad and hard for a lot of them knowing Cameron Boyce passed away, but the OG can at least come back that’s where they probably made most of there money. But I also agree with you.
I understand what you're saying and I also understand that everyone may not like descendants because the 4 vks aren't gonna be there. But still, we should give the new cast a chance. They don't have to like it afterwards.
I normally get a little annoyed when actors say they don’t want to reprise roles that made them famous, because it feels ungrateful or like they now resent those roles. But for this reason, I completely understand. As hard as Cameron’s tragic death hit the fans, we must remember that he was their friend. It’s deeply personal for them whether to feel that another movie would honor him, or simply be inappropriate. It seems they’ve decided the latter, and that’s entirely their decision to make.
This is going to be a very bittersweet gamble. I am torn right down the middle on whether i want to see this or not. I am semi-obsessed with D1-3 because i love the energy... but it was mostly Cameron's energy that caught me during every dance routine. I honestly want to be excited about D4, but knowing what we know makes it difficult. This movie is either going to flop miserably, or outshine its predecessors; I don't think it has any other option... but time will tell.

I can’t wait!!! I’ll miss the OG’s and everything, but I’m really looking forward to meeting the new characters. One of the things I’m most excited about is seeing Rita Ora in a Disney movie!!!! 😆😆😆😆!!!
Even tho Cameron’s passing is really sad, (remember no one is replacing him) I am still kinda excited to see what happens next. Rip Cameron, we all love you.❤❤❤❤❤
I enjoyed the movie when all the old actors were there . I will miss Dove Cameron and the whole descendants cast ❤️ But i think Chad should return because his sister Chloe is going to be there. Let's see what Chad does this time. It's not going to be good without Dove, Sofia, Booboo and especially Cameron 💔😭😭😭😭

Yay...I'm soo excited for D4, it's great they not touch any D1-D3 story line and start with new one...Cameron will always be remembered. There are so many Disney character they still can use, and i want to see more.

Honestly having a Fourth movie doesn't sound like a good idea especially after losing Cameron Boyce because carlos is an important character in the movie it wouldn't be the same without him in it so I don't blame the original cast for saying what they did

I'm soooo excited to see Desendants 4. I love this franchise. Own all the books and movies and some other things from it.
I would love D4 and the fact that they are not touching Cameron’s Character just makes me so happy and hope that Dove comes back because that would make my heart melt because Mal was one of my Favourite characters in the whole movie and looking forward to see Melody again and all the new characters just wish Cameron was still here with us RIP Cameron Boyce Always In Our Hearts ♥️
Just finished D1 and a little bit of D2 yesterday. It was awesome. I've watched the third one before, so I'll rewatch that one again.

I’m exited but I know it isn’t be the same. I thought they could pretend that Carlos is at vet school bc he luvs animals instead of him dying in the movies. Also I thought this would be descendants 5 bc of the royal wedding thing? But it will open up new adventures which will be very exiting! I wonder if we will see the royal baby?! ❤
I know it will be hard for the cast to continue without Cameron but it would be nice to see a continuation in the franchise

She plays kourtney green in the new high school music tv show, not in descendants. Also, I haven’t seen the whole video so idk if they go over this, but I don’t like how they aren’t putting dizzy, Celia and the smee twins in the movie, they only got to be in one movie, where most of the time they weren’t even present, except for Celia for most of it, those characters should get more time to grow as characters like the original kids did. They could make a fourth movie. I know they don't want to, though, because of one of the actors. But there are a total of four books in the series. The last one is called: '"Escape from the Isle of the Lost,'" and it follows the same plot. :) I was excited to know about the fourth book because then there could be a fourth movie. But then they decided not to anymore. Which is a shame because it's a good story.

You can say descendants ended after the third film, or the royal wedding. If descendants 4 is made, then it can be considered a spin-off type thing. Like The Conjuring, Annabelle, The Nun, and possibly La Llorona, all exist in the same universe.

Dara Renee is not playing Kourtney Greene in the movie, that’s her character in high school musical: the musical: the series, she is playing Ulyana (I believe) which is either uma’s aunt or other relative :)

I love descendants it’s such a good movie , and teaches some good life lessons like working together to save people’s lives, don’t judge the book by it’s cover . I love all the characters in the movie and I would love to be a descendants 4 it brings so much happiness for the fans
I LOVE Descendants, Ill give #4 a chance but im not a big fan of this time travel idea?? Why on earth would they take that route? To me, its a bit too far out there. But ill give it a shot ^^

They should've made the plot for Descendants 4 to be about their parents' lives before they had kids (aka the original cast) and have us get more of a backstory on Maleficent because Mal and her mom were both leaders of the "pack". It makes too much sense. I wish they did this instead. And then after those films, if they want to end the franchise on a good note, they could make a few more based on Mal Evie Jay And Carlos' kids lives. I think Carlos' gf could still play as the mother since as we know Cameron is dead 🕊️❤️🩹 and cuz since we now have a backstory of how it began with Mal, Maleficent's, now we can finish it with their kids because Mal and the rest of the gang caught our attention from when it first came out and I would personally love to see how our favorite childhood characters raise their children because if you think about it the crew didn't have supportive parents before and this'll stir more attention on the film franchise cuz now we get to see how they do it. Idk, just a suggestion that I think would realistically work out for Disney. And then after Mal Evie Jay and Carlos' kids lives are shared, we can just end it with the kids growing up and telling the stories about their parents to inspire other kids in the Isle Of The Lost because it'll be so on and so forth and there won't be much to say other than a proper farewell to the Descendants franchise instead of just re-casting because it'll feel too fast. I personally as a writer think it makes more sense when all the unanswered parts of the film are brought into more productions so that it all falls into place perfectly.

I have mixed feelings. I am somewhat excited because its descendants and Dara renee is in it, i saw her in HSMTMTS. But i'm not sure if this is a giant money grab or not because it was obviously ending int he third movie. I respect the original casts decisions as well. I guess we wil all see when the movie comes out. The actors in it have even more prssure to deliver a good movie now and im sure they are aware of it. Good luck to them adn i hope whatever happens doesn't hurt them or their career (I mena if there is negative responses to the movie from the fandom).
