- Here is my guide to folding triangle twists.

This is a very useful tessellation technique and they look great too.
To start, you’ll need to hexagon shaped paper - there are tutorials available showing how to cut a hexagon from a square.
I have videos on my Instagram (IGTV) showing two different methods.

Related tessellation techniques to look into:
- Star Puff (Ralf Konrad)
- Triphilia Tessellation (Robin Scholz)
- Spread Hex Tessellation (Eric Gjerde)

Practice makes perfect.
Happy folding y’all!
I loved my stint of folding all the triangle grid designs I could find online.
For those interested, the Triphilia piece he's referring to is a design by Robin Schulz.
For further study and heaps more models like these, look into Eric Gjerde, Joel Cooper, Ben Parker, Lydia Diarde and my oersonal favourite, and a good friend of mine, Peter Keller, who essentially mentored me in my most obsessive phase of tess folding.
Thanks again for your videos, E, I am enjoying your channel!
Great tutorial. Can’t wait to give it a go. Thanks!
can’t wait to try it! must be fun popping out those triangles. thanks bunches!🦌💌❤️📚
I do find it heaps of fun and even more satisfying when the twists are tiny!
Good luck 🤠
Finally another tutorial!
So beautiful. Thanks for teaching.
Love your craft and this one is the best!!!!Therefore, we subscribed to your channel.
Fantastic tutorial! I'll hopefully be trying this next. Out of curiosity, what brand of paper is that? I've been struggling to find nice origami paper and I REALLY like these colours.
Thanks! The paper is by Valley Folder - Peter Keller (he’s on Instagram)
I was given a pack of autumn colours by someone, but I’m sure you can buy it directly from him.
Looks amazing!!!
Amazing
Nice video
Okay good
Is there a way to finish it without cutting off the extra edges, like possibly hiding them?
°update°
I figured out a way to do so, and it looks great!
Also yes, i folded it.
If you fold the grid point to point instead of edge to edge it finishes without the extra bits.
What did you do in the end?
@@origami.by.e9415 I will probably upload a video of what i did soon.
Super!!! Could you show how it's done Hydrangea in an octagonal clover tessellation?
I’m sure I could! Is there a picture of what you are wanting to fold?
