The regular battle theme being played is meant to symbolize that Boreas doesn't see Tora as much of a threat, just an averege, low-levelled opponent.
If he was facing off against Kirby or something then they'd of totally played one of the more hype songs.
I don't know why, but I find it hilarious every time the normal battle theme starts playing in a cutscene.

There are times I just sit and ask myself "Does Emile even know how much we appreciate him for bringing us games we normally could never play or even known about because of various reasons?" Like I grew up in a village and the only PC store we have, only had employees who sold but had no knowledge, the last 5 years however they got 2 guys that know games and in depth PC knowledge and helped me build my PC, they never sold a single console and we don't have anything like a Gamestop so about 80-90% of the games Emile covered in his channel are a first for me. And the consistent uploads knowing we can expect a new video helped me through a lot.

In this episode: Boreas challenges the peace in Mor Ardain, cooks long extinct flora, and kills a man
Like any true hero of the Nopon would.
In the first age, in the first eating competition, when the hunger first lengthened, one stood. Burned by the embers of the wood stove, his soul blistered by the fires of Argentum and tainted beyond ascension, he chose the path of perpetual hunger.
In his ravenous hunger he found no peace, and with boiling water he scoured the Uraya Plains and Emperor Niall's underwear drawers seeking vengeance against the dark Yumyum who had wronged him.
He wore the crown of The Zekeonator, and those that tasted the bite of his mouth named him... the Food Slayer.
Granted, no one ever said that the bloomshroom COULD be re-grown even if he wanted to... a mushroom that's been dead for 100 years probably doesn't have any viable spores to repopulate the species... or at least maybe idk how mushrooms work but I doubt a dead 100-year-old mushroom would have viable spores.
Fungus could be closer to animals that to plants I'm not an expert that stuff correct me if I'm wrong.

If you didn't return the statue this would of been the textbook example of a high profile robbery. You scouted out the statue by talking to the man, wandered around the rest of Indol to make you not seem suspicious, and hid out in a secret room on the same Titan where Bana was from.

@@ChromeBirb here's the funny thing. it's really not. when you have been on the internet for a decent period of time, grown up as a Newgrounds kid, and played hundereds of hours of Binding Of Isaac, you see things that are way, WAAY worse.
Never seen this blade quest before, but I'm just happy to hear some new voice-acted lines, especially Tora this time around. That burp was adorable. Also 27:39, apparently being the aegis also gives you another, lesser talked about superpower; being able to fit two people on the same stool at the same time.

Something I've only just realized- XC2 has no bestiary. Even though there are a ton of Blade abilities and Core Chip bonuses against certain enemy types, there's no way I know of to check which enemies count as what. For the most part it's straightforward I guess, but it is odd to not have _some_ list of enemies in the game

If you look at the 1:08 mark of this video, you can see that the game did have an encyclopaedia until quite late into development. Presumably it was cut in order to make the December 2017 release date. It’s likely that this kind of information about enemies would have been in there.

Something that was bothering me: did Emile realize that Zeke's Shell Shot with Boreas when he was doing the Ansel fight heals the party? Emile was running around collecting HP potions while panicking about health, so I'm just curious if he knew that Shell Shot would've healed the party.
If he forgot, I can totally understand why; Shell Shot does not look like a party heal art. So when he's panicking about low health, he's likely only glancing at the icons on the right, not seeing a healing icon for Shell Shot.
Not trying to bash Emile or anything, especially because the battle worked out in the end. I thought it was something worth mentioning. Also, it may not have made much of a difference; Shell shot can miss which would yield no HP.
Things Emile Missed:
-Down in the Malignant Gorge is a Treasure Trove that sits towards the western wall right by the location marker on your mini-map. It contains an Ambush Boost III aux core and a little under 2.5k gold.
-At the Toxbloom Spring, take note of the narrow path leading north by where the Griffox are lounging (you can see the path on your mini-map between the higher elevated terrain and the poisonous water below). At the end is a White Treasure Trove. It’s locked, but between Pandoria, Poppi QT, and Roc you should have no problem opening up this Level 3 lock. The real issue is making sure to get the two Rare Core Crystals and the 3kish gold before they fall into the drink. It’s shallow, so you can collect them without fear of them sinking, but as Emile pointed out the water eats through your health at a pretty quick rate compared to most environmental hazards so get in if you have to and quickly get out.
Don’t try speed eating at home, kids. Seriously, it’s a huge choking/health hazard if you’re not prepared and even then.

Let’s be real Emile: no one is mourning Winnie the Pooh’s Home-run Derby, at least no one who has experienced the horrors of Christopher Robin.
Normally you send the calling card first before stealing the target as anyone familiar with any sort of gentleman phantom thief (Arsene Lupin, Lupin III, Kaito Kid, the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, etc.) would know. Why YumYum stole Boreas’s food first before leaving the calling card is rather odd.

Beyond the whole Robin Hood sort of deal, YumYum is the only other Nopon capable of speaking perfect English, kinda like Toutour in the DLC Quest Industrial Sort of Tour. However there are times where he reverts to speaking like a Nopon instead for no rhyme or reason.

You are guaranteed to fail this check. There are only 6 Blades in the base game who have Lockpicking as a skill (including Miss 1 in 1000 herself) for a maximum possible Lockpicking level of 18 for a Lockpicking check (no locks are ever so complex except for this one. Maybe one other). With updates and DLC, that maximum goes up to 26 which is only above 1/4th of the skill required.

I appreciate that Tora mostly entered the Mushroom Speedy-Eaty Contest so that Boreas could compete as well, but... come _on,_ his opponent was a Blade who could probably compete with _Kirby_ in a speed-eating contest. There was no _way_ that'd end well for him.
