The fact that the Farfetch'd Evolution wasn't used in GSC is bad enough, but the fact that it also wasn't revised and made a Mega Evolution is a damn tragedy.

Andrew Kos I’d rather have a permanent evolution. A mega is pointless since it only adds 100 points to the base stats which still makes Farfetch’d extremely weak. Plus a leak that seems to be 100% legit as of far says that Farfetch’d will get an evolution called Sirfetch’d (I know a very boring name). This leak also predicted Dynamax, Gigantamax, Chairman Rose, his assistant and your rival to name a few so I believe we’ll get a Farfetch’d evolution soon

I'm so glad you talked about Wolfman and Warwolf. Hands down my favorite designs from the Beta leaks. I really, REALLY hope they come back in some form down the road. Also I'm also quite vexxed with Madame. It looks super sick
I really like Ringring and Bellboyant's design, its adorable and I think they would've made great additions! Not to mention Johto is the only region without a regional cat pokemon (if you count Alolan meowth as Alola's regional cat), and these two would've been a perfect fit.

The Blue and Green Beta was already leaked a few months ago and we already saw all the frontal sprites, what Gorochu looked like and confirmed that Kangaskhan was at one point an evolved form of Marowak/Cubone.
When I scripted this it was February - and those sprites are fanmade unless proven otherwise.
I’ve never heard you rage like that but learning that Farfetched was deprived of a perfect Evolution is just infuriating so your anger is both shared and justified >~
I dunno why, but that Ducklett bit made me laugh.
From the way you described them, Wolfman and Warwolf could've possibly had been prototype designs for Sneasel if you think about it. You described them as being black creatures with sharp claws who wear the coats of wolfs. Well, Warwolf looks as if it has the same claws Sneasel and Weavile do. The fact they're even all ice type may show they could've been the original Sneasel line before they were scrapped.
Although what's also interesting is that I saw there was a prototype design for Sneasel where it looked more like a white weasel, yet it was only dark type. Maybe they just combined Sneasel's first desgin with elements of Wolfman and Warwolf's designs for it's final design. Even combing the types to make it a dark and ice type.
Man, all those early pokemon designs should be on pokemon's future game roster.

Ah yes, Pokemon, everybody's childhood game, and the fact that there's Pokemon that never got released, or Pokemon that had different art designs before the actual release is quite fascinating! 🤔😄😁👍

Unreleased and Beta Pokemon still feel uncanny to me due to how much the Pokemon company used to hide them when I was growing up
I'd love to see some of these in the new games- shame they went unused.
