You could literally use that as your sleeping bag store carry and then use as you need to...great little pack!!
Good shout mate! Got lots of good ideas for it from here! Thanks 👍👍
Yours is the Only video out there of this backpack, not even the company has a video of it... I've only found this, a Silva one, and the Matador FreeRain24 v 2.0 hmthat have packable WATERPROOF daypacks. Waterproof is soooo needed with these thin backpacks. Anyway thanks for the video!
No worries Iris, it's a great pack. Thanks for watching 👍
Bang on that mate, I really tiny bundle, slips in to your pocket. Just bloody handy when your out and about especially when you have kids I’d say.
Just gotta say I loved that speed up get it in the bag again but 😂 funny as... cheers mate 👍
Video would have been about six hours long if I hadn't speeded it up 😂 thanks for watching mate 👍
super light & strong mate probably best for mountain marathons or quick light accents of high peaks carrying the essentials. think your self lucky just went through every room in house decorating.(still didn't stop me getting out lol) stay safe
I don't normally mind painting but was just a big mad rush mate. Yeah, decent lightweight pack for quick summer ascents 👍
Just bought it for £15 quid, will be perfect for my upcoming travels to SE Asia 👍
Enjoy your travels mate !
Mandatory Product Slapping.....LOL! To be fair it does look really good and I cannot believe how small and lightweight it was. Bit hard to get back into the sack but you got there in the end. Good to hear plenty on the outdoor menu for the coming months. Like and full watch, cheers Alan
It's tiny Alan, be great for summer walks and quick ascents. Easily fit water bottles in the side too 👍 thanks for watching mate
I like how every outdoors you tuber slaps their ruck sacks when they are talking about them 😂😂😂😂
Like dogs ...... you can't keep a good rucksack down 🇬🇧👍
It's horrendous isn't it - not just rucksacks mate - any item of gear gets slapped or patted. It's like trying not to chew a Fruit Pastille 😑
@@MCMOutdoors ....... 😂😂😂👍we all love your channel
Chris, I gpit a similar bag by Nordisk. I call it a 'scramble bag'. For when you've pitched down from a summit and you want to 'scramble' up for photos, so your hardshell/gloves camera are close at hand while keeping both your hands free for safety. There you go; a justified purchase. It also serves as as stuff sack for my down jacket, in my rucksack. It being so malleable with a down jacket in it, helps round off your stuff to help keep a nice shape to your rucksack.
Top tips from a top bloke 😎
nice video, i think you should do that little over night hammock camp with that. looks a good little bag that. just requested to join your facebook group

Good review. Do you know if there is a superlight packable backpack in this style but like 40-50l in size that I can use for a through hike? Planning to go super ultralight and this kind not only is much cheaper but is also lighter than any of the ultralite backpacks I've seen. Don't plan to have heavy loads in it, quite the opposite, mostly just need more pack space. Thanks in advance. Cheers mate.
Not by this brand - if I was getting a pack that size, I'd want proper padded straps etc. There are many lightweight packs designed for that kind of load mate 👍
Keep 'em coming! T 🙂
Thanks T 👍
Do you reckon this would do the job as a dry bag for in my main pack? Nice video pal!
It definitely would if you wanted to use it for that purpose. ATB
Would be a nice light bag on a cycle to the woods for a couple of hours in wet weather.
That's a good shout. It's fully waterproof and can be fully submerged for short periods.
Once I've got my bike fixed, I think I'll give that a go - thanks 👍
@@MCMOutdoors would make a good video maybe. I sometimes take a poncho for a lightweight ground shelter, maybe it would fasten on the outside so keeping everything inside dry?
I'll give it a go sometime mate
Reminds me of the Alpkit gourdon
I thought the same mate - I saw a recent video from 'Simon, A Bloke in the Woods' and really liked that pack - ATB - Chris
Hi I know it’s not connected: I have a helium Ultralite tent with a silnylon fly and find sliding the pole into the sleeve very tight especially when wet.have you any recommendations as to making it easier? Eg WD40 or Silicone spray?? Thanks
Hi Neil, that's a tough one - I'd be wary of using anything with chemicals in which may damage the fabric of the tent..... If I had to think of a quick fix, I'd maybe try rubbing a wax candle lightly over the pole - little chance of anything attacking the flysheet then and may assist with your issue. Hope it helps - let me know if it does 👍
@@MCMOutdoors thanks
Hiya pal, I'm thinking of getting one. Bit of an odd question but do you reckon it'd fit a 15inch laptop in a case inside?
I reckon so mate. Check the actual dimension on their website. Nifty bit of kit!
How water proof is it? Like shower proof/rainproof? Or can it be used as a submersion sack for canoeing?
It's definitely rain and shower proof - it has full taped seams - so whilst I have not submerged it - in theory, it should work fine - as it's basically a big dry bag - ATB
you returned something to the shop? 1st time for everything.....
Haha - unfortunately it happens a lot - the older I get !
Can't go wrong for £20 👍
It's alright isn't it! I've really no idea what the point is to be fair, but had to buy it 😂
MCM shopping bag for life
😂😂😂😂😂😂🍺🍷🇬🇧👍
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Mate you're probably right. 😂
Any update on durability? Its definitely missing a chest strap.
Still fine, it's about 7 years old now. It's not designed for heavy loads at all so a chest strap would be totally unnecessary
@@MCMOutdoors Chest strap is needed for every backpack (at least in my experience), even the trail running wests have strap to prevent moving it unecessary.
£34.99 on the link , better bags on the market for that kinda money .
I'm sure there are mate, was kind of a unique purchase for me - I'm sure there will be a use for it 👍
@@MCMOutdoors not having a dig btw just saying the link price isn't what you said on the video , 20 quid is ok but moving to nearer 40 isn't 🙈😂
@@wulliebandparades6604 mate I know, no worries! I found it at a decent price, I just used the manufacturers link!
I've no idea what I'll use it for 😂
That must be very flimsy bag..
Why must it be flimsy?
@@MCMOutdoors thin sil nylon isnt it?
It's made from 30D siliconised ripstop Cordura so is surprisingly robust
@@MCMOutdoors on my xpierence, those silicon coatings are prone to abrasions and do peel quickly. thus it s no more waterproof even if outer material is tough..
