- As of 2023, the average size of a single-family home in the United States is just over 2100 square feet. The United Kingdom: about 820 square feet. Move over to Hong Kong and that number drops significantly to about 480 square feet. It seems as the world gets bigger, space gets smaller, but that’s certainly not the case for everyone. There are some homes that defy the grandest of expectations. Join us for today’s video, as we countdown the top 15 largest houses in the world!

I was waiting for an upload like this❤❤
My high school has their prom at the Biltmore Estate, every year. There's a courtyard wing called Deerpark, where the dance floor is set up. It was one of the best nights of my life.
Why do most those guys require twice as many bathrooms as bedrooms? Ate they incontinent or something?
Either you recorded this a while back or your writing team made a big mistake, Queen Elizabeth II passed away so Buckingham Palace is the King's home.
Hehehehe.
It'll always be the queens in our hearts mate.
Also, the King doesn't own the Palace, the British government does.
Great video thanks for posting
Very Beautiful luxury mansion home 🏰👍❤️👌😎👍🏰❤️
Considering that the Biltmore Estate was built before 1900, it is absolutely mind-boggling. It was even built with a steel framework and in-wall electrical wiring. The spiral main staircase built of marble is breathtaking, as is the gigantic two story library with a balcony and wooden spiral staircase. The indoor swimming pool is in the basement. Definitely worth a trip to Asheville, North Carolina!
Thank you for sharing your video. Interesting...
Omg it was so cool seeing The Biltmore House on here!!! I only live 2 hours away in western nc and have been thete numerous times!! My favorite time of year is spring when all the gardens are in bloom and at Christmas! It's one of top favorite places to visit 🥰🥰
Ok, seriously ppl…who needs 25 bedrooms in a house?? These mansions are big just to be big…I want a medium mansion…6 or 7 bedroom, all suites, individual master baths…I can even see like 10, anything more than that is just wasted…yes, put an indoor pool with jacuzzi…home theatre, family room…like a huge master bedroom with fireplace, huge bed with bed curtains, etc…more is just bragging!!!
Hello 🌹🤩🤩🤗
Wow, is about all I can say, I wonder what it feels like to be able to pay your bills every month on time. My husband was a marine who spent 14 months in viet nam and was a gunner on a helipoter and truly served his country. Oh well life goes on
Our veterans deserve so much more then they get. My dad was in Vietnam. As was my Godfather who was also a gunner. I wish I could give them all the life of not worrying about anything. They truly are America's heroes. We should all be grateful. I thank him for his service.
Wishing everyone all the best!
❤❤❤❤❤this amazing in beauitful wow i would love to go to this ocean front river omg yes its really nice😎😎😎😎😎
Matatan.🐎.
Ribirin HS,
What an amazing home or mansions,
At 125,000 acres, 14:27 I guess those mountains are in the backyard 😂
The combined cost and value of these places are crazy, monthly maintenance will make me a very rich person lol
Who on EARTH needs that much room?! Five pools??!! So many people live in such abject poverty. Why? Just why?
Number 7 was sold in auction, so Mr Nile is no longer the owner of the house.
Bill Gates Xanadu isn't called that by locals - never ever heard that before. But what is inside is basically an ugly office building. He build it to be a conference center that he could live in and would have meetings there instead of going to the Microsoft Campus (about 20 minutes East.) I've talked to a few people who have been inside for meetings and they describe it as ugly with no decoration and the inside was exactly like the inside of the building in the MS Campus. So a typical office building. Not what anyone expects. Bill has little imagination. Remember, he stole all his apps - he never made anything himself.
Taohuayuan is incredible I can't seem to find any CZcams videos on it.
Uh, you do know that Queen Elizabeth passed away back in September, right? Also, really? Buckingham Palace? First of all, the Royal Family doesn't own it, the British government does. Secondly, Windsor Castle is much bigger. Thirdly, they do own two of their residences, Sandringham Estate and Balmoral Castle.
What about Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria?
42 bathrooms??? In the Belair mansion does everyone have Crohns?
The Queen does not own Buckingham Palace, as she passed away last year. It is now owned by King Charles the 3rd, who will be having his coronation next month.
It's owned by the state, the royal family are just squatting there
The kings Palace
Imagine getting lost without ever leaving your home
The one was sold for far less
Bill Gates bought three adjoining properties in Medina (Meh-DYE-nuh). He razed two of the houses and the third was moved to the south end of Bainbridge Island. The construction company I worked for hired the mover who put the house and garage on a barge that squeezed through the Ballard locks with less than 6" clearance. I watched the 3-car garage being moved off the barge onto a lot across from its final location. I later did a walk-through of the 6,000 square foot house looking for issues from the move, like a door into the dining room that was now crooked and scraping the floor. Great experience.
No Hearst Castle??
Villa La Leopolda, all day long.
😳

I million yuan doesn't equal 150 million dollars.. Yuan is the smaller denomination. .There's another mistake at 14:38 where a shot of Waddesdon Manor in England is shown between shots of Biltmore.
I love looking at these places but always remember they are works of art that constantly require rivers of money to maintain. The opposite extreme to these monuments to tycoons were the utopian communities like Oneida and even the Shakers. They liked beautiful estates too. But they were products of group design and labor.
I can't understand the huge discrepancy in prices. Some older and what I think are better quality houses go for less than some new and probably flimsier and flashier places. I can't quite understand why people who want the privacy of mansions on estates gang up in particular locations. Don't they tend to distort the labor market wherever they dominate?
The ‘ One ‘ in bel air sold for $141 million…
Me and my family have a big over 300 squares and two uptairs wooded house in middle of farms and forests and this house is big but not a mansion. PS i love that Villa La Leopolds House because IT Looks amazing and The name's IS beautiful. PS i Want live high treeHouse middle of forests. 🏠🌲🏞️
