Private beaches should be illegal. The shore belongs to everyone.
Plenty of beach out there, nothing wrong with owning a small section of it for private use.

@Penguin I don't like the beach either. Smell of dead fish washing up on the shore is vomit inducing. The waves I can take or leave personally. The one thing I can't stand about the beach is the damn sand. It gets in your eyes mouth hair and in areas you probably didn't even know you have and, the sand inches like anything. I think that the beach is very overrated. I'm more of a woods camping hiking type person.
