I didn't think about the necessity of the "huh?" feature until it happened, that's funny.
Separately, Qwordle (for Quantum Wordle) is trying to do a similar thing to this.
Yup, tho qwordle is a little bit more harder. While you need to guess 1 word, you only have 6 guess, giving you no additional guess to separate the letters.
Edit: Nevermind, xordle don't show letter separated. Holy fuck this is different

I really like this wordle variant. It's pretty interesting having to guess which letters are part of which word.
Not sure if you've found this yet or not, but the question mark icon at the top of Xordle shows the different games the creator has coded, and Fibble (one of them) was in fact created by Richard and his wife (credited as K and R Garfield).
Another Wordle variant you should try is Canuckle, the Canadian version of Wordle, for your Canadian viewers like me haha. Nice new emoji too

@@bxtrrrrr2099 No I don't belief so. A Canuck is another term for "Canadian" so instead of calling the team the Vancouver Canadians, they called them the Vancouver Canucks. Similarly instead of calling it "Canadian Wordle" they called it "Canuckle". So they are both using Canuck for the same reason, but they aren't based off each other.
just tried it, the word is easy to guess. wasn't hard at all, see, globe.

Qwordle is similar to this; you get less guesses, but it tells you if a yellow or green letters in word are part of different words or not

I think it's called "xordle" because the colored letters are in word A xor word B (which means exactly one of the words)
It would be funny if the two words could actually share letters; that would really elevate the "xor" aspect of the game to new heights of craziness :-) (As in, the letter is shown as green if the letter would be green in word A *xor* the letter would be green in word B -- so if it's green in both, it just shows as grey)

I thought it was because x comes after w in the english alphabet
I thought it was because x is commonly used to mean crossing lines and this is two wordles crossing in one grid

Also, I dare you to start with the words GLENT, BRICK, JUMPY, WAQFS and VOZHD! They use 25 unique letters; all except X, and you have one try to guess the word. Might not really be a challenge for you, hence you've guessed basically all of the answers so far! Good luck, Scott.

This is a really interesting game! Took me a few iterations to get the hang of it, but it adds that layer of "unscrambling" on top of the fun of Wordle. Thanks!
The second one could have also been “poppy” as in the flower, another triple letter word.
The P and O couldn´t be reused
@@owenaspinall2046 poppy doesn’t have two os, and we see that words can repeat letters within (like in poppy or mommy) just not between the two words. He hadn’t used a P anywhere yet, and the O and Y would be in the right spot.
I thought you meant instead of quilt. That works, but where does the k go?
@@owenaspinall2046 there was no K in that puzzle, it was “Sauce” and “Mommy”. I think you’re still thinking of the first puzzle with “Quilt” and “poker”

In regular wordle use bongs fleck harpy and tumid and it gets rid of lots of letters.

Hey Scott! I challenge you to start your wordle with 25 unique characters leaving you with only 1 guess to guess the word. Use these words: Glent, brick, jumpy, vozhd and waqfs. These words have been tried and tested and they all work - good luck!

@Kinesis Toh Yeah, it usually is double letters, but sometimes it could have an X.
The mommy could also be poppy. Scary situation if you were lower down
Whilst you were describing how xordle worked my first thought was whether there is a set of 3 words where two of the words are the solutions and the third word is a guess that would give you all green letters
I feel like I didn't make as much sense as i thought i did in that comment, let me know if more clarification is required

Just completed my first xordle and got the 2 words with my final 2 guesses just like in wordle.
SWordle a Star Wars variant numbers and a hyphen can be in the answer.

try cross wordle but when you type cross wordle click on the second link. this is similar to this where two words of have an overlapping letter and are also related to each other in some way.

I really want to see you do a semantle/pimantle. They are so hard and I always take 60 guesses at least.
I did a Semantle a few weeks ago and I got it in something like 32 guesses. Then I did the one the next day and it took me over 150! I guess I don't know the "strategy" for that game.
