- My first couple of days in Guatemala went well, despite numerous people telling me to be very careful while walking in Guatemala City. All in all, I find people to be very nice and friendly. Despite a slight feeling of wanting to look over my shoulder.

Good zones 4, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 15, some parts of 1. Land marks to visit in Guate, Aurora Zoo, ciudad Cayala, mapa en relieve in zone 2, Spindle top restaurant Vista 15, Avenida Las Americas and Plaza Berlin, restaurants in avenida reforma, I forgot Petapa thematic park. Guatemala has beautiful parks from IRTRA ARE XETULUL, XOCOMIL, XEJUYUP, HAWWAII, AND HOTELS ARE GREAT INSIDE THE PARKS LIKE DISNEY

I visited Los Angeles, many say that it is dangerous, but because of that I did not enjoy it, I was afraid. Guatemala has many beautiful places to visit, and foreigners are well received, so if you are a foreigner don't be scared, the honest people of Guatemala will always take care of you, so enjoy and forget about the bad…You will always be welcome

The DJI Osmo Pocket 2 is great for shooting videos like yours and the microphone works much better. I have several gopros they have many great uses the microphones leave a lot to be desired.
I actually used to film with one but I always found myself grabbing the GoPro over the pocket 2. I liked the point and shoot style of the gimbal of the pocket 2. Found it to be a bit slow when moving the camera around fast
@@KeaganFox it can be annoying. I occasionally use both at the same time so I can use the audio from the pocket 2.
Zone 10, 15 and 16 are safe but they are very expensive zone. Other places you should visit is Ciudad Cayala in zone 16 and Cuatro grados Norte in zone 4. Antigua is a must!

Not at all. When I was there, I didn’t wear a mask or anything the entire time.

The problem around zone 1 is that you cannot be flashing expensive stuff like gold chains, expensive cell phones and everyone can see you carrying that gopro, as you can see there's a lot of people walking around and you never know but also you can see there's a lot of security and cops walking around, people are known to be very friendly in Guatemala and they will tell you Good Morning, hi, do you need help, etc.

Guatemala is like any other country, there are beautiful things and things that are not so beautiful, dangerous places like in any country, the United States is not the exception, without going very far, California, Chicago, just to mess around with a few places, so enjoy your stay in Guatemala, just Do not walk at night on the street, use your common sense.

Avoid the so called Zonas Rojas. 3,4, 5 6, 18 (The city is divided into 26 ones) How ever, if they get to know you, people will protect you as a white tourist. They usually have a thing (good) for gringos. Zone 14, 15 and 16 are the best and safer.

That’s what I originally thought. But everybody kept telling me it’s because they have massive car break-ins even during the day at stoplights . And if you have blacked out windows it makes the criminals hesitant to break into your car because they don’t know who’s in there or what you have as a weapon
Why forcing the local people to speak your language
I try to speak what little Spanish I know haha usually the locals are better at speaking, and understanding English than I am at speaking, or understanding, Spanish
