first it depends of the same car you can pair with the side mirror but if your car is bigger or longer you adjust forward until the tail light pairing is the same, and if the car you drive is smaller you need adjust backward until the same with the tail light, and you finish pairing the car you drive you car stear the stearing wheel all the way to the right, and if you see theside passenger of plate back number you can stear the stearing wheel straight slowly reverse after that if you see the door front handle pair to edge of the bench you can stear the stearing wheel all the way to the left
I think the last step is to turn the steering fully left that's what we learned in school, First you will turn full right, then next return back to straight position and the last fully left and may be the learner driver will not understand this short cut method position of car before parking what is the distance to be mentain and when to stop.
The last driving wheel turned did is to the LEFT, but he mistakenly said 'RIGHT ' again when he meant to say LEFT before the last reverse. Let everyone watch and listen well and avoid confusion.
He forgot to mention about aligning correctly the correct way is when you have a sedan car next to you should bring the car to the shoulder of next car otherwise when you reverse will hit the left side of the trunk of that car when turning. If it is hatchback sitting next to you can align with side mirror of both cars.
I have a bone to pick with my dps. All these parallel parking videos are showing them getting into spots with plenty of room, but my dps have little rectangles carved out into the curb for you to park in and they’re freakin SMALL
When I parallel park, I always adjust my right hand mirror downward, so I can see the curb AND my right rear tire. I can then EASILY place it exactly where I want it.
Parking in a lot against traffic cones with a lot of space is very different real life, which is often on a busy street and with spaces barely big enough to fit a car.
I have not parallel parked in years, i always lived in suburbs and i just dont take my car around in places like that, i find a parking garage if i need to and then just walk or take a bike

Last year during summer that I did a good parallel parking between my 2 neighbors. I pulled in instead of backing in. I didn’t hit their vehicles.
That's all good.. just align ur mirrors correctly before proceeding...! Also with a 360° view cam setup, this is piece of cake..!
