I grew up with Curly all I get is good feelings all time when I see your grandfather on the TV back in the days, always there in your heart the warm home feeling even today being a grandfather myself, still have that feeling from the past 🙏I'm glad I knew him growing up and better than Micky Mouse Club by far!!
It blows my mind that God brought me into existence at a time on this planet when I would be able to instantly say hello to the grandson of a beloved television character from my childhood. 🤯

Looking at you Sir, it’s easy to see the family resemblance.
You know , the best thing about your grandfather , his brothers , and Mr. Fine ...is that they followed the same recipe that Red Skelton followed . They made people happy , and kept them entertained ..all while not using any curse words or vulgarity . I watched the interview that Dick Cavett had with Moe back in the 1970's . Moe was about the gentlest human being that ever lived.
Important to recall, Curly was also a savior of dogs. He was always fostering and finding loving homes for dogs in need.

My eight year-old daughter and I visited your grandfather's grave 10 years ago and she insisted on buying flowers for his burial sight. We both love the Stooges but Curly will always be our favorite. We visited the neighborhood where "An Ache in Every Stake" was filmed and we walked the steps your grandfather walked trying to deliver that block of ice.

Any man who was as loving and compassionate to all the dogs he found homes for in his life had to be a great man. Brad sure does look a lot like his Grandfather.
I got to visit one of Curly's homes in LA when I visited last, and we parked in the wrong spot and had to walk around the block. I said to myself "this is probably where Curly walked some of his dogs" 🐕
This honestly almost made me cry. I grew up with the Stooges. I've always loved them. Its sad that Curly & Shemp went out too soon. RIP Curly & Shemp & the rest of the Stooges. Your legacy will live on.

Me Too. I'm 64 now. Grew up watching The Stooges all my life. In a way, they're almost like extended family to those of us who spent so much time being entertained by them. We miss them, we love them. God bless them!
Almost 62 here and no one could make me laugh like The Three Stooges could. What a treasure they are and the love his family has for them shows in their love for each other.
With all the money those crooked movie companies made off these comedic geniuses, these poor kids should have been set up for life.

Curly was the godfather of big guy, slapstick, physical comedy. And honestly, he’s still the reigning king, in my opinion.
Men know not only when it's ok to cry, but also that it's ok to show emotion. Visiting a relative's grave is one of those times where it's ok and expected.

Your Grandad and his brothers along with Larry literally saved my life on more than one occasion. Suffering from chronic depression for most of my adult life i have watched and re watched the "boys" a million times in my 68 years. Way better than taking a pill to make one feel better. The only side effect is a sore stomach from laughing so hard. Legends forever!!

@@timbell6870 I'm still a chronic insomniac because of depression, and the only way to break the cycle is to watch The Three Stooges or Abbott & Costello. They fight our demons for us. These guys have no idea how much they've helped people like us cope with depression. You take care too Tim.

My mom just passed and it got me thinking of what our family's legacy will be. I'm the last of my bloodline. I was a gardian to a great boy who I proudly call my son and now a grandpa and "pops" to my wife's son and her granddaughter. I see my dad's quarky sense of humor and even love of making others laugh coming through in ways I would have never guessed. Especially when times are tough... and sooo much is from my dad his love of the stooges.
I realized this just a few days ago when we all came home after mom's wake. We all had some gut wrenching cries and then realized that everyone was focused in on the funeral director's wiggling lop sided toupee. Our laughter helped heal us.
It was so good to see you guys laughing and clowning around in this video. A legacy of laughter and joy is more valuable than pounds of gold because in the long run, we are all just the stories we pass down and laughter and joy is hard to beat.
This is beautiful, and I never realised the Stooges were Jewish until now. Curly was definitely one of history's greatest actor / comedians. He's influenced so many Hollywood greats. In particular Mel Gibson, but the list is far longer than just Mel.

I recall when your grandpa had his stroke and had to leave the Stoogesm he said, "I can't make the kids laugh any more." He didn't have worried - they've been laughing more than 90 years and show no signs of stopping. There will ALWAYS be a Three Stooges.
i've been laughing since i was 5. almost 35 years later, my kids are laughing along with me. God bless the stooges. all of them.
I was born in July 1952. The Three Stooges was a big part of my family's enjoyment. I absolutely loved them all. My Dad was a German Jew. He escaped the Nazis and came to America in 1950. My mother's family was very Jewish but my dad was not. I never learned how to read Hebrew. This video brought tears to my eyes. You three guys are just like the original Three Stooges. I miss them even though I can still watch their movies on T.V.

I'm 49 years old and I grew up watching the reruns of The Stooges every Sunday morning The Stooges were never the same after Curly left he was the magic. He brought so much joy and laughter to generations of children He left a wonderful legacy So glad that you share him with us
Curly was absolutely amazing, but so was Shemp. Shemp was an original stooge in Soup To Nuts. They were originally with Ted Healy who got beat to death outside a bar. Awesome fucking video.
This is my first time watching this video. I'm happy to see that the humor of the Three Stooges that we love so much continues in the family. It was fun and endearing to see Curly's mannerism. Family gatherings must be so much fun!

Curly's grandson is such an amazing person and seems to be a really nice, and funny guy himself just like his grandad. He continues to get everybody to know just how special his grandfather really was. It wasn't just his signature comical antics, but also the heartwarming soul he also had within him. Curly loved dogs so much he wanted to take care of many of them. He also appreciated the ladies as well, and was a pure gentleman. He's missed so dearly by all us Stooges die-hard fans. He left this world too soon, but we will always embrace the way he made us laugh.
This was so touching, and to hear Curly G’s actual voice was truly special.

I’m currently binge watching Three Stooges and even though I’m only 22 and a brand new fan, I feel like I knew them my whole life! It pains me to know that Curly and Shemp were cut down in their prime. They along with good ol’ Moe and Larry are the funniest men of all time. I wish I could bring them all back so I can shake their hands/hug them and to tell them how much they made me laugh! What a treat seeing you visiting your grandpa. I am a big fan of the Stooges and have corresponded with Helen Maura Howard, Moe’s daughter, following reading Curly’s bio. I have collected various artifacts and newspaper articles, etc. Curly’s name in Hebrew is engraved on the headstone and reads: Yehuda Lieb Bar Shlomo Ha’Levy.
Curly saved thousands of dogs by picking up strays and finding homes for them. That alone made him a mench, Yiddish for “the man!”
You and your family did a great thing by paying him your respects. Curly, his brothers and Larry Fine made millions laugh.
This put me in tears because you got to see your grandfather for the first time and his parents. Thank you for doing this because I always loved watching the Three stooges growing up in the 70's and I still watch them on CZcams even though they're reruns I don't care if they are watching the Three stooges will never get old they're missed by millions of fans and they will never be forgotten by the millions of fans.
I was always a big Three Stooges fan, especially of Curly's. Me and my wife cannot get over the strong resemblance of his late grandfather. His grandson looks just like him. My teenage son has autism and became absolutely obsessed with the Three Stooges when he was young. We took a trip to visit all the grave sites as well as some filming locations in 2020. It meant the world to him to see these special places. I have just introduced him to your channel and I know he will absolutely love your content! All these years later, new generations are still appreciating the Stooges all over again!

I've been watching the Three Stooges since child hood and I really admire the work and dedication to Larry, Moe, Curly and Shemp as well as Joe for bringing in laughter around the world. The Three Stooges shorts were so popular in Kuwait as reruns and it was amazing. Big thanks to all of them for bringing in laughter, comedy is what unite the world and citizens.

I just visited Curly’s grave this last weekend and wondered who left behind the block of cheese 😂. The Three Stooges are an American treasure. Curly was my personal favorite and I remember as a kid dancing in front of the television when the opening credits came on and it was a Curly short. What an honor it must be to be related to the funniest man of all time. Thank you for sharing this very private moment with the CZcams community.
As a Stooge fan, this was great. So sweet. My dad and i watched the Stooges all the time when I was a kid. Great memories for me.
Me and my 4 children (3,5,8,9) just live your grandad in the Stooges. He had a unique, lovable screen presence that is timeless and universal. There has always been a sadness within me that will never go away with how adored he was by his brothers and how tragically he suffered after his stroke. To see his grandson alive, well, and paying homage to him makes me so happy. God bless.

The Stooges essentially raised me VIA television. I made a short quick trip to LA a few years ago and I discovered that I wasn’t too far from where Moe is interred. So I went to pay my respects. The moment I saw his name I got VERY emotional complete with tears. I told my fiancé that I felt like I was visiting a beloved family member that I had known since my childhood and yet never had the pleasure of meeting. I hope to make it back again so that I may visit and pay my respects to the rest of the family.
I just discovered your channel today. My sister and I grew up watching The Three Stooges, and still watch them to this day. Curly was my favorite, my sister liked Shemp. To see their Graves, we both cried. We are so happy to have found this channel. Thank you so much.
I was born 12 years after Curlys passing, however, all the Stooges were a big part of my childhood with the biggest being Curly. When VHS came out I would get up every morning to record the 3 Stooges so I could watch and laugh whenever I wanted. The only time I ever heard my grandfather laugh was when I had turned on the 3 Stooges and he came in and sat down with me and started laughing. Oh how I miss those times.
I've always wondered how often surviving family members visit the graves of their famous relatives. This is the first video I've ever seen where family visited. Thanks for sharing this with us! I loved visiting Curley and Shemp's final resting places a few years ago and I loved seeing you and your family and friends visiting in this video. It was moving and funny and one of the best gravesite visits I've ever watched on CZcams! 🙂

I was going to drop by last time I was in LA, but didnt have the time. I was planning on saying "the mourners Kaddish (prayer for those who passed away)" when I was there - but ended up taking an earlier flight and couldnt make it out there. As for how many people visit their relatives who passed away ... cant tell you - everyone and every level of religion is different. As someone who is "a religious Jew", I go often to my own parents and grandparents graves (as well as family friends)(same cemetery so its not hard to do) - but thats just me. Next time I get to LA if I have the time, I would go there and say it for them with pleasure. Besides being "one of the tribe", they gave every one I know many many years of pleasure and entertainment - they certainly deserve the respect and dignity!

This is the best thing I have seen in a very long time. The Stooges were my saviors during my tumultuous preteen and teenage years. Every morning for many years started with the Stooges. What amazing memories.
Curly made me laugh more times than I can remember. All my favorite Stooge episodes were all with Curly.
This is a wonderful family visit. Curly and Shemp for sure loved it from heaven. This is just how they would have wanted to be visited. It was very touching when grandson finally got to see his grandfather's grave. I have always loved The Three Stooges. I remember as a kid going to summer school in the 70's and the Friday reward for us kids with good behavior for the week was watching The Three Stooges. Imagine that. RIP to all The Three Stooges. 🙏🙃🤪😏
I'm 70 years old. I had to have been 7 or 8 years old when I first started watching The Three Stooges. My folks left me at my grandmother's during the day while they were at work. The first thing I'd do was to turn on the tv to Slam Bang Theatre so I could watch The Three Stooges. It was a daily thing. Curley was my all-time favorite Stooge and still is.
I have a collection of The Three Stooges on discs.
I don't watch them alot anymore but i watch some online and cherish the memories they bring back.

Yes, Grandpa Curly and Granduncle Shemp were two of the funniest comedians in TV history, different styles, but very effective in both cases. Those coins at 11:00 spelling "NYUK", was that the 67¢ Uncle Bob O Link left in his will (If A Body Meets A Body)? Maybe it was some and the rest were the ones on Shemp's nameplate.
I just watched 3 hours of your grandfather last night. I'm almost 69 and The Stooges have been a staple in my life since 2nd grade. Quite the legacy you have. Cheers from Utah.
This was a great tribute fellows. It was very poignant and moving, even brought a few tears to my eyes. I know how ya feel about not visiting graves. I've only visited my dad's a handful of times, and he's been gone 20 years. If I don't get to meet ya on this , hopefully on the other. Thanks for all you all do. We need it now more than ever. Thank You, Crying right along with you guys! From Kindergarden to 8th grade, school was out at 3pm and I would run home 1+ mile to see 'The Stooges' at 3:30pm on TV. Best Childhood memories!!!
