    Even in the year 2020, he sounds lightyears ahead of his time. Woww what a revolutionary leader. No wonder the colonialists eliminated him soo early. Yet he had so much more to offer. What he did in 4 years in his early 30’s 40 years ago in a place like West Africa still not possible in many parts of the world today. Yet we live in information age.     Just imagine how Burkina Faso may have been if this man had lived on for longer. I'm sure the country would have been much more developed and prosperous, maybe even the most propserous in Africa and a role-model and inspiration for other developing nations.     I see that Sakara's political brilliance came from his heart, from the true love he had for his people and nation. To me, Sakara's murder is why great empathy leaders like Sakara do not hold public office, an ultimate fear of the same outcome.

    Growing up in Accra, there is an entire interchange named after him. It was renamed to Ako-Adjei Interchange but now the whole area surrounding it is referred to as Sankara.
