I think think I would say this so soon but Tony on that level. He’s in the same stratosphere as some of the great ones killing it. I don’t know how he does it but even with the chops it doesn’t sound like he’s overplaying 😱
If anyone is familiar with Tony Royster Jr. and CJ Thompson, this young cat has both of their chops and style mixed together with his own God given abilities and skill set...money definitely a beast with a bright future. 💯🥁
i would find that offensive if someone said that to me. imagine all the hard work you put into learning the different rudiments and practicing them, finding a way to make it flow. For someone to come along and say its basic gospel chops. what ! what are gospel chops? a triplet based feel roll. it doesn't make sense it doesn't make sense its a youtube channel

Average Joe Fear Itself your right but also wrong because the arrangement their playing requires precise heavy hits. The problem is where thy are playing if it was in a stage and a bigger place then the sound would spread more and also there is no drum shield.

There is no way the drummer could have written the fills and solos to play for the song! It must have come out naturally when he played it. LIke how can you even memorise those drum solos and fills like that.
