9:38 Asking ChatGPT AI to write my video scripts - Věda a technologie
ok, so the video was not performing great. So I asked ChatGPT to suggest a good video title and thumbnail for it! Let's see if the new stuff makes it work better or if the AI is full of crap!
👍
Would be fun to see an car alternator to motor conversion , along with a suggestion for a usable motor controller.
I guess you could get some better responses if you were using the GPT-4 model, which is available with a subscription. But the video itself, roasting the AI, was extremely fun.
Edit: I just used GPT-4 and it gave me the 6 following ideas: EMP generator, DIY vacuum tube (it would be awesome if you managed to build one), Farnsworth-Hirsch Fusor, Rube Goldberg Machine with High-Voltage Components, DIY Theremin, Homemade Radio Telescope (The Thought Emporium made one a long time ago, when he was here in Brazil with a friend).

I just saw 16 mins of AI roasting mehdi for not having hair and I loved it lmfao. Mehdi never fails to amuse.
everything was fine until the SPARKY NATION ATTACKED!!!
neither does the ai fail to amuse ;)
plot-twist: AI suggested him to make a video about AI

It didn't roast him, it doesn't know what the f it says
The AI really emphasises on electrical safety, lab coat, a ton of hair, sometimes makes me think if it's evil mehdi running it from behind
Here's some ideas from the top of my head:
1. Build a vaccum tube (old school transistor)
2. Build a 3 ring LED sphere (similar to lantern you did)
3. Find random electronics that emit noise and rig it to play songs.
4. Build a rail gun (I guess you did it before?)
5. Build a peltier junction from scratch
6. Build long range wireless energy transmission circuit (like your magic wand, but safer and more directed)
7. Build a discharge tube or electron gun
Can the energy transmission circuit be in a phase array to direct its beam?
he did build a rail gun, but it only had 1 segment abot 20cm so it wasnt really a full railgun

Circuit bending is a legit interesting idea, there's not enough of that around. You find the audio circuits in (usually) toys and add components to the circuit to tune how it makes sounds. It usually goes from slightly interesting to hilarious to nightmare fuel, especially if the toy has some speech capabilities built in.
Damn straight! Was so hoping he was gonna latch onto that one. But judging by some of his reactions to audio-related suggestions, I wonder if Mehdi might be a bit of an electroacoustiphobe. Hehe. But seriously, I would love to see him take on a circuit bending project. Maybe audio circuits have no appeal because they're relatively low voltage and current. He could circuit bend some old tube-driven gear, maybe ... a few 450VDC and 350VDC rails for a bit of "shock value" (sorry, I'll leave).
There was the raddest circuit-bending band in Sydney for a few years about a decade ago called Toy Death. God, it was a fun show. There'd be footage of them online, I'm sure. Don't actually know of any other bands like them, but I'm sure there are, I just haven't looked very hard. You know of any?
You can also do circuit bending on old camera modules to produce interesting video effects.
@@PBeringer he did build the !@#@ circuit, the microphone, a sound canceler, and a transmitter I think? He just legit has no idea what circuit bending is.

A video where Mehdi asks ChatGPT for help with making cicruits and analyzes the answers would be nice. ChatGPT can actually use text to draw the circuits. Also it remembers the history of the conversation, so it's possible to point out mistakes to it or ask it to elaborate on certain parts.
How boring. Why doesn't he make a windmill or waterwheel or whatever else to make his own electricity so that he doesn't need to buy any anymore EVER AGAIN

he already kinda made a video about an electric guitar
'How not to make a electric guitar ', it is most viewed video of him.
I 100% agree! How about a deep dive into solving problems with static and hum in audio circuits?
Firstly, I have to say this is a great video as always! The following wall of text is not meant to be negative, just some things I think could improve results (With an emphasis on “think” and “could”):
I think it would have worked better if you started new conversations every so often.
ChatGPT sees the history of the chat and tries to predict responses based on your new question plus older messages. This probably caused it to be so repetitive and take on the “weird” tones. If one of the responses has a certain tone and a new response continues in the same tone, this causes a snow ball effect to start.
Maybe you opened more conversations and my observations are wrong.
If you did split conversation up more, then that's good!
Another thing that could still have a chance of improving results is to be more specific in your questions, giving more details and maybe examples. It could also be possible that speaking as ElectroBoom in your questions helps with response quality. As asking about a complex topic as an audience member would probably get a more simplified and less detailed response. Whereas, if you were an expert in the topic's field, responses can afford to be more complex.
Another important factor is the data that ChatGPT got its CZcams related knowledge from. If you go looking around for advice about social media content creation online, you find a lot of articles with similar tips and advice. A lot of those articles are also written in ways that scream “quantity over quality”.
This of course is all speculation. I'm an AI enthusiast, far from an AI expert, so take all of it with a grain of salt.
you know the AI truly dosent know ElectroBOOM when it describes him getting shocked as "ow that one got me good"

I have a project that put in shelves, it is injecting water mist to car air intake on lower rpm. The aim is to boost torque on lower rpm, fuel efficiency will also increased.
The mist would be produced with piezo membrane and fed to TB through pneumatic valve. You need to tap your ingnition wire with copper wire wounded around it as a coil to read motor rpm through magnetic field generated. A capacitor at certain value should be used to stabilize voltage reading. At an adjustable setting after certain rpm the valve will close. The water tank where the mist generated is cooled with a peltier. Arduino nano, esp8266 or stm32 blue pill could be used as mcu. The code should be simple.

Mehdi, you should make a robotic arm like the ones they use to assemble cars
Well, he will need help from a programmer to programm the robotic arm.
@@dripplercrippler7460 Chat GPT can help with that. I just built an industrial packaging machine which counts a number of pellets from 5 different bunkers, cuts and glues a package for them and packs them in it. It also keeps count of how many pellets and packages have been produced. It's all powered by a single Arduino Nano board for which Chat GPT wrote most of the code. I just had to modify it in a few occasions to account for the control schemes for the servos and pneumatics and read signals from the various sensors.
@@TheOriginalEviltech damn, ChatGPT is really something, programmers are going to be extinct at this rate not gonna lie.

@@dripplercrippler7460 it programs about as well as it does youtube ideas. it'll give you some combination of what is out there if you're doing something that is already out there in various tutorials and whatever. That's it. It might give you some code for a robot arm, but it'll probably not even be able to adjust the parameters appropriately, it sure as hell will not understand the geometry and be able to create some code for it, if the geometry works somehow slightly different than in the example it has taken the solution from.
So far, the only use I've found for ChatGPT is when I'm completely lost debugging software and I want it to bullet-point a few suggestions.
Typically, one of its suggestions is on the right track (but contains many inaccuracies)
As far as creativity goes, it can write an amusing limerick.

Hi Mehdi!
How about making a chain of circuits including:
- signal generator (sin, triangle, square wave, etc..)
- RLC filters (low pass, hi pass, etc..) with some adjustable capacitors and resistors
- maybe an amplifier at the end.
You could hook those beautiful oscilloscopes up in between the circuits, and tweak with the generator, filters, and amp to show how it changes the signal output at each phase. Also, you could teach us what to check / how to setup on the scopes.
Or even attach a speaker to the end, and we could also not just see but hear the results while you're explaining.
Cheers!

It actually would be very neat if Mehdi would try actual circuit bending. It's much fun! Done some noisedolls myself.
Kinda unrelated but you could try what edison used to do, he used to hold a metal ball in his hand and a metal plate under it, he sat on his chair and went to sleep. When he slept the ball dropped waking him up. And at this point he was able to come up with ideas very quickly since his subconscious was active

@@beanapprentice1687 sleeping poorly is weirdly and terrifyingly dangerous
Yeah but there is a tradeoff, memory for imagination. You wake up tired and your memory is much worse overall until you'll actually sleep well. Probably the same for all physical attributes, like reflex.
That was hilarious, Mehdi. I loved every minute of it. ❤
I actually have an abandoned idea of my own that might interest you. I learned to make Tesla Coils using the Slayer Exciter circuit, but the ones I built were pretty weak. I also kept melting my transistors due to circuit overloading. While experimenting, I found that my fluorescent tubes were not very bright while held outside the coil, but if placed within the core, they glowed brightly. This gave me the idea to try making a "Light Saber". Of course, my material choices were not perfect. A thick PVC pipe made up the handle, with a secondary wound on the surface, and a primary wound right over that. The fluorescent tube was inserted into the end of the pipe, forming the core of the coil.
I was never able to get it more than mildly bright, but it reminded me of Induction Lighting technology. So my suggestion; build some interesting lamps or other room lighting with Induction Lighting technology, perhaps making some of your unique improvements. Also, if you want to make it more interesting, make the fixture buttonless! Touch Lamps were all the rage back in the 70's-80's, and you can still purchase conversion circuits for modern lamps. Would be hilarious to see the lights turn on and off when you open the fridge, for example.

I dont think the circuit bending thing was a terrible idea. You could have a nice cross-over with the modular synthesizer world with something like that. I'm sure you've heard those old giants like the Moog modular.
Moritz Klein has a series about basic synthesizer module circuits that dive deep, you could do an overview video of it from an engineer's outside view, and maybe make a medhi module of your own? Any fun signal messing could produce a unique sound.
Or just Technomedhi's take on that little world of hobby electronic sound noodling? I would love to see that.
Actually fixing common electronics problems is a great video idea. I've seen ppl throw out stuff that are fixable by replacing basic parts like resistors and such.
I don't think Mehdi wants to go there, people fixing things at home which then leads to electrocutions, fires or more broken electronics are potential liabilities.
And even then, i bet CZcams will have something against a DIY video like that.
Replacing a component? Sure.
Messing with home appliances? Nope!
