My wife's scan in 38th week revealed that baby's position is breech. We went to doctor who suggested us to go for c-section. We consulted many doctors and everyone suggested c-section as the only option. We both were very tensed and while searching about breech position on youtube, we came across your video. My wife did all the exercises your video suggested just once and felt baby movements. We were not sure if baby flipped. Today, we went to hospital and found that baby head is downwards. Many many thanks to you. It means a lot to us. I will definitely share this video with all to-be parents. God bless.
Addition - I: Blessed with baby boy on 12 Nov 18, normal delivery. Mother and baby are fine. Thank you once again.
Addition - II: It is very important for you to make sure that the umbilical cord should not cause any problem. Before doing these exercises, get an ultrasound done and consult your doctor.

So awesome to hear these methods worked for you!its sad that most hospitals go-to is to just get a c-section instead of suggesting trying positions like this to try to turn the baby naturally before going into labor :(

At 34 weeks I found out my baby was in the extended breech position. After watching this video (in my 35th week) I did the lifted hip exercise for about 15 minutes, then I sat on the floor with wide hips and pillows behind me for about 20 minutes. When I went to bed that night I slept on my right side since I always feel the baby on my left. Not 20 minutes after laying I bed I felt baby flip! Had another scan today (one day shy of 36 weeks) and baby is head down!! Glad these techniques worked for me!!

Victoria Wigzell Hello Ladies, I am on my 32 week, I did the four legs exercise and felt my baby's turn (I felt some kicking on the bottom of my belly which may mean that he changes his position but not necessarily to the right one) but after two days he is back to the wrong transverse position. I did not take any ultrasounds, I just guessed. I am hoping that he turns in time. He is active though but not for milestone :)
Please let me know about you. I feel safe with others...

I need to share my story even though it's 1 1/2 years old now! This worked for me with Baby #5! I was 36 weeks when we found out by ultrasound that my once head down baby boy was breech. I just couldn't deal with the thought of a csection with 4 other kids to take of after he was born so I did everything in this video and at my 37 week appt he was head down. So happy. But by the 38 week appt he had flipped breech AGAIN. I came home and repeated all the exercises and after a couple of days I was pretty confident he was head down again. I went in for another appt/ultrasound and he was down. :) We scheduled an induction for later that week and had a smooth delivery at 39.5 weeks. THANK YOU for making this video!

I've been meaning to write to thank you for this video. I was double footling breech at 37 weeks, found this video and he turned at 38 weeks. I also used a flashlight at the base of my tummy and had DH talk to baby to encourage him to go toward the light. My midwife was amazed. I believe a lot of it had to do with me relaxing my hips and allowing for a comfy and hospitable environment for baby to go to. I had a healthy, quick drug-free birth at 39 weeks. Again, thank you for the video.

Definitely the most informative and "natural" friendly video I've seen. I'm 21 weeks pregnant with my first baby and having an all natural water birth. I've been researching and researching about positioning and exercises so as to avoid medical intervention when the time comes. Not only was this video informative, but it somehow gave me confidence. So much better than those confusing, poorly drawn illustrations. And you look AWESOME! Can't wait to try these in a few weeks :) Thank you!

I'm 32 weeks and a PA in OB/GYN and my baby flipped breech 4 days ago. I did the exercises you suggested last night, slept on my opposite side of normal, woke up and still had a breech baby, but I knew it might take a few days/weeks. Then I spent the entire day at the office seeing patients sitting at the edge of my chair with knees far apart, and by lunch I could tell the baby had flipped & I confirmed it by ultrasound! Thanks so much for the ideas!! Can't wait to share them with my patients!

I just have to say that this really worked! I went to have my first check up here in Atlanta after being in school in Tennessee at 37 weeks and they said my baby was breeched. The specialist said I could schedule a c-section or try the version procedure to flip my baby. I was upset because I wanted to have a natural delivery(no meds and vaginally). My version was scheduled a week from that day which was just two days ago on Tuesday. When they did my ultra sound they said my baby had flipped on her own at 38 weeks. I did at least one if not 2 or all of these exercises daily and I did not have to have the version procedure. I had 7 days to do it and the exercises I did consistently were the hip rotations and lying on my back and propping every living room pillow under my hips up since I did not have a huge pillow like shown in the video. I just want to say thanks for the exercises and do not feel discouraged breeched mommies:-)

I also did the ice pack along with this exercise. I couldn't believe how immediate it was. Thank you! Now I found out my baby is posterior which has been causing me prodromal labor! This video is the truth! Stubborn baby during ENTIRE pregnancy. I had a version scheduled to take place at 36 weeks 6 days. I found this video and started doing the ball exercise at 36 weeks 3 days. Then I used ice packs and the wall exercise with hips open at 36 weeks 4 days. I could literally feel the baby moving while during the exercises. I also made sure I slept on my left side all night. That was uncomfortable, but I did it. Went in for my scan at 36 weeks 5 days...BABY WAS HEAD DOWN!!! It works. I will continue to do the exercises to ensure baby is in the right position. I kinda knew it worked prior to the scan because I could hear a heartbeat using my Doppler below my belly button. Prior to the turn, I could only hear a heartbeat above my belly button. Thanks so much for sharing this video!!!

My baby flipped head down overnight!
After watching your video. I decided to ask my husband if he would switch sides of the bed with me. I realized I have been rolling too far on to my stomach on my left side and that If I move to his side of the bed I'll either sleep on my right side or on my left (but without obstructing my tummy)- It worked!!! I felt my baby squirming a bunch as I was falling asleep and when I woke up she was what felt like head down. Sonigram confirmed it. Now I just hope she will stay that way. I'm 36 weeks 5 days.
Also- I think sitting in a symmetrical open hipped way (like a trucker) is a huge part of keeping her there too. When I am at work I'm always squeezing my body in to unfriendly positions that make me look less pregnant - it closes off my pelvis to her head. Now I know I have to stop doing that. You video was incredibly helpful!!! Not just the active exercises - but what to AVOID. Can't thank you enough!!!!

That same day they called me to schedule a ECV and a c-section for the NEXT DAY if the ECV wasnt successful. My husband immediately went on youtube after seeing my reaction to the news to see what we could do. I started doing the exercises in this video that same day after my appointment. Hi I just wanted to say Thank-you so much for your video.I was booked in for a c - section, and I was desperate for baby to turn as this was baby number 5 and I had all the others naturally. Anyway i google searched ways to turn baby and found your video. I didnt have an exercise ball, so I used my 9 year old sons' hopper, I sat on it as often as I could, and if I was out an about, I would do the exercise standing ( like the hip rotations) I did not sit on the sofa in the evenings, I sat on the hopper while watching your video and she turned. I know this works because my midwife would tell me when baby is moving out of position, so I would do an intensive before my hospital visit, and by the time I got to the hospital, she would be facing head down again. I managed to put off the c - section on the basis that she was head down, although not engaged. And finally at 38 weeks the doctors decided not to Intervene and cancelled the need for a c - section. I am 34 weeks pregnant and my midwife said my baby was breach two weeks ago. I think the baby then moved into a transverse lie which was very uncomfortable. I did two of the spinning babies techniques: the Inversion and the Breach Tilt. Within hours I could feel my baby turning. That was two days ago and today my midwife confirmed she is head down in a great position! Yay it works!

Hey Alexis that awesome! What you need to do is continue with the exercises for 3-4 days after baby has turned to maintain their new position and then you can start squats 3 x 10-15 reps 3 times a week with your current exercise program, so happy for you!

This has been most helpful! My baby was on a cephalic position at 34weeks but turned Frank Breech on my 37th week. My OB was already telling me to prepare for CS but I insisted to have another ultrasound a week after bec I'm really trying to have a normal delivery. Now, baby's position is back in cephalic! I did most of the exercises here but I felt baby moved on the 2nd exercise. I don't care now if my ribs hurt because of all the kicking, I'm just happy he turned head down. Thank you!

Wow! Thank you so much for this video! After all the research I could find suggested that though many things "may" help baby to turn, the most statistically significant impact was postural exercises and maneuvers. I found out baby was extended breech on 35w3d, and by doing these easy exercises and ditching my desk chair for the swiss ball to be able to do the hip rotations throughout the day, I've just come back from gynae and at 36w54d baby is head down, perfect position for natural birth.
To say that I am ecstatic is quite the understatement! I should add that a lot of prayer and talking to baby also went into getting her to turn. Now it is just a case of keeping my posture etc good to keep baby in this good position!
Thank you thank you thank you for these easy to follow tips and advice!

    Peace, Mama!
I’m just returning from my 39 wk + 4 day prenatal check. After TWO WEEKS of being told I’ll probably have to have a Version or C-Section, I just got the news that my little turkey is HEAD DOWN 🙌🏾✨🎉🎊🍾❤️🙏🏾.
I did yoga ball hip rolls accompanied by a little bouncing (couldn’t help myself 😂), the cushion incline, straight posture when sitting, and laying on my right side to sleep.
I did the exercises for only about 15 minutes for 2 days.
My midwife says the big day will probably be this weekend.
& the best part is I’ll get to deliver this angel baby naturally the way I wanted.
Thank you SOOOOO much for this video 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Thank You! It was a lot of pressure, pain, and scary. But the doctors had an ultrasound as a guide, and took it slow. My doctor said she wouldn't have done it if it was my 1st baby, but since it's my 4th she was confident that it would be a success. And it was! I don't think it's for everybody, but I'm glad we did it, especially since the only other option was c-section. I'm glad that I can now have a normal vaginal delivery. It was worth it to me. Not an easy decision though!

Hello. Your baby can definately still sturn based on my experience. The more they keep turning the more likely they are eventually to settle in a head down position. make sure you have good posture and avoiding spinal flexion, keep your pelvis open at night and fingers crossed baby will turn and eventually stay down. You can keep trying until 36/37 weeks :-)
Good luck let me know how you go, once you have done hip bridge remain with your head down, hips up high & kees bent for a further 5 mins

Thank you 😊. I did this exercises worked for me. At 37wks my baby was breech yet she was head down since 33wks so you can imagine how it felt when she turned out breech at almost Edd. I literally did this exercises day in day out. My 38wk ultrasound she was still breech so I was scheduled for a planned CS at 39wks. I went home and started to adjust to the new fact that I will have a CS but that didn’t stop me from continuing with the exercises. When I went to get admitted for the CS they did another ultrasound to confirm baby still breech and BOOM 🔥 baby had turned. I was sooo happy, I cried because I wanted a normal delivery. I was discharged and went home to wait for baby’s timing. I delivered at 40wks 4days.
