Swami Avimukteshwarananda, the 46th Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath, said his "pain won't be relieved" until Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray becomes the chief minister of Maharashtra again. Talking to the media after visiting Uddhav Thackeray's residence 'Matoshree' in Mumbai on Monday, he said, "We are followers of the Hindu religion and believe in paap (sin) and punya (holy deeds). While I'm a great devotee of all the Shankaracharyas, it is very disappointing to see the view of Sri Avimukteshwarananda. Doesn't he remember the same betrayal by Uddhav in 2019, what about the Palghar sadhu case, Pandharpur case, Uddhav banning Ganesh chaturthi.... Sanjay Raut everyday talks trash about Hindu dharma and lord Ram, what does Avimukteshwarananda say about that ?
