Stafford is so good and everyone just ignores it
I no I no don't worry we gone take good care of him in L.A he will be notice ....😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌💯
True
@@russelllangworthy8855 LMAO clearly you don't watch football 😂
@@russelllangworthy8855 just because you're old af doesn't mean you have football knowledge buddy. Can you give a concrete reason as to why Matthew Stafford will fail O'Ancient one?
@@russelllangworthy8855 Alright gramps, let me rip that argument to shreds. You know, for someone who claims the've been a fan since 1969, you sure are blind to how inept and poorly run your franchise is. The only reason why he was under minimal pressure is because he played in Detroit. The last time the Lions won an NFL championship, not even a superbowl, a championship was 1957. That is downright attrocious and you completely think a guy who drafted in 2009 has been responsible for that? Ok. You say that he had folded under the pressure and that was evident in Detroit. How exactly? Cause all Stafford has ever done is take your sorry ass franchise that rarely has a defense and an offense that has never had a top 10 offensive line, hasn't had a good running game since Barry Sanders, and has never had a good head coach and he managed win 74 games with all of those factors holding him back. You mentioned pick 6s and how many he has. You know who is a ahead of him? Favre, Marino, Brees, Manning and Rivers and all 5 are either in the hall or going to be so I have no idea why pick 6s matter to you. You say he's terribly inaccurate yet you fail to acknowledge in his 12 year career he's completed 62% of his passes with a 282-141 TD/Ratio. And you said his receivers can never make any of his catches in stride and go for TDs? If that's the fucking case, how the hell does he have 45,000 yards and close to 300 TDs? Did you forget all his receivers scored all those TDs? Lastly, and this your most braindead argument so pay attention now, you claim he has terrible football I.Q. and he basically was playing with a 'high school' playbook because he doesn't know all the plays. You honestly lost all credibility with this one. If you think a guy who came out of Georgia, got drafted FIRST in the 09 draft, and has played 12 seasons in the league and isn't done yet, has terrible football IQ, you really need to keep your mouth shut because you clearly don't what you're talking about. Guys who possess terrible football IQ don't even play in the league past 3 years and Stafford is heading into his 13th. Also, he's never had a coach that had a decent system he could play in. And if there is, show me. Show me his Belichick, his Shanahan, his Walsh, his Vermeil. Show me a good coach he's been with that also put him in great system. He's never had either. Now he has McVay, a run game, and defense which were all supremely lacking in a laughing stock of football team he played for 12 seasons. So there you go gramps, took the time to break down all of your arguments just to prove how wrong you truly are.
I got recommended this video after the Super Bowl, lol. This definitely aged well. Now if you make a sequel, you can add Stafford's no-look pass to Cooper Kupp. That play was awesome, and it was on the freakin game-winning drive too. Vintage Stafford was on full display all playoffs. Wild plays, game-winning drives, 4th quarter comebacks, you name it. 🔥
Yep. I made this video last year when there were trade rumors because I knew he’d get more spotlight on another competitive team. Now he gets the respect he’s always deserved
At this point in his career, he would be great on the Rams.
Not with their cap space 😂
Better on the niners tbh
I hear both sides have talked 👀🤔
@@Kdotkon Same, the Rams would be amazing with Stafford but idk how that’s going to work with contracts
@@IconicFootball When two teams want something each other has, they figure it out.
I have never seen someone throw so accurate on contested catches to give their WRs the best chance of getting the ball, usually it’s the WRs that make the QB look better but in Stafford’s case it’s him making them look better
For sure, ball placement is one of his strengths
Absolutely. Lions receivers, especially the past few years, don't have the ability to get separation. Always covered so every throw was through a tight window. I can't wait to watch Matt in LA.
I wasn't that excited at first but hadn't really watched matt play, now im hype after watching a bunch of highlights
Stafford is very underrated. Been a Lions fan for a while Matt is incredibly tough and willing to do anything necessary to win the game. His will to win has always been something that shows on the field you have to kill this guy to get him outta the game. At this point he's a veteran and his football iq is among best in the league imo you guys have a helluva leader in #9 dude is gonna give everything he has to the organization and the fans he will probably take a season to settle in but he will do great things with that team
First off he prefers Matthew. Second this doesn't even have some of his best throws. Or and there not even arguable ,his 3 best runs 1 against the chiefs , 1 a fake spike against cowboys , and the single best play of his career when he trucks a titans DB . The guys is special
Give him a supporting cast, top 5 QB in the game. Again media did not cover him. No that he is in LA, he will be rated higher than Aaron Rogers. Watch what these clowns on TV do.
@@youcancallmefunk4745 the throw to Durham to drive the team down the field against Dallas was his best throw ever. If not one of the best throws in the modern history of the game.
@@bigassdummy46 maybe but Matthew has so many great throws and the time Stafford threw a ball against KC that was a no look and literally went through 4 defenders it was one of those throws that you go "wait did he just ... who even tries that "
I think the throw over Kansas City in 2019 should be in here. One of the best throws from any qb ever
2:26 that throw is insane
I honestly believe that is the best throw I have ever seen. Ever. No contest.
@@loganhess1389 I’ve seen Rodgers throw a similar ball. That’s how good Stafford is
There are lots of great NFL QBs but there's only one Matthew Stafford!
This is an absolutely fantastic video - thanks! #2 is my favorite - look at 4:23 at how his feet land after throwing it - he's completely sideways...and it's still a laser, 37 yards in the air, with 3 DB's in the area.
Thanks for watching! Subscribe if you want to see these videos for other players
Watching this before the super bowl. I expect him to put on a show tonight and prove to everyone he is better than what his past records say
That’s my boy, Stafford is a Stallion.
Staff deserves a ring. He gave the Lions everything he had. Too many fans don't give him enough credit. He put the Lions on his back. If he was the Lions qb in 2021 he would have led us to the playoffs. The defense kept us in most games with JaGoff at qb. Think about that
LOS ANGELES RAM...!!!! I’m happy as heck..!!!! Good for him.. No expectations.. Let’s just go out and Ball...!!!
honestly, He's just different..........
Some of these throws that he makes are done so effortlessly. I've been watching so many QBs throw and I haven't seen any that can throw the way he can.
I agree. He makes these side arm throws from instinct. He’s no mahomes or Rodgers but some of these plays he makes show similar abilities.
@@IconicFootball He's better at the side arm throw than anyone throwing the football
@@normjay1743 I agree
Hes on the rams now
@@Bighotwheelhunter Yup, Honestly I did not think that the lions were going to get what they got for him, just wish there was more of those picks this year.
Megatron gonna come out of retirement
The touchdown thrown between 4 chiefs defenders?
That throw against the giants was beautiful, could’ve been a little bit higher but rolling to the left short arming it to the right side of his receiver away from the shifting db, beautiful stuff, don’t see many people able to do that without their momentum carrying it too far left and getting picked
WE LOVE MATTHEW STAFFORD
I'm a Lions fan and I couldn't be happier for Staff. He deserved this. Congrats to him. Wish he would have gotten his ring in Detroit but I'm just glad he got one. This guy gives you everything he has, takes a lil bit from the guy next to him and gives you that too. Toughest qb in football hands down. You gotta drag him off the field. There's also noone I'd rather have under center in the 4th qtr of a close game... as we saw all playoffs long haha
Funny how the thumbnail is against the Rams
No qb sneak against Dallas to win?? Great vid !
So right! Shows both his guts and his quick thinking!
And know Mathew Stafford has led the rams to the nfc championship game! Lets gooo
4:05 "he sticks it right in to his young tight end"😂
"And he sticks it to his young tight end"
What I see that we didn’t have in Goff a QB who don’t get rattled under pressure all we needed
Exactly. I’ve watched him for a while and he will throw picks from time to time but he will rarely throw a pick when the game is on the line and he can make plays that Goff can’t
@@IconicFootball this is a great upgrade no doubt I 👃 a championship 🔜 🐏
@@IconicFootball he throws picks playing hero ball because he’s a gunslinger on mediocre teams. That’s why he throws picks and that’s why he threw so damn many picks when he was younger.
Anyone here after the Super Bowl win?
Always been a beast
Dalvin Johnson and Matthew stafford is a slept on qb wr combo
No get out of sack throw to T.J hockensen against the Falcons?
That last play is like the most goated play ngl
The dislocated shoulder one is vintage.
0:48 LeBron tweeting about them and now they’re both in LA
If u know nothing about Stafford than you're not a true NFL buff.
Detroit will never forget you!
At 01:33 the Megatron catch is obviously insanity but watch how Stafford like chucked it on the run
I love the Lions, but I am a Rams fan when they are not playing Detroit.
Awesome! It’s great that Stafford can bring such love to the game for so many fans
Who's a Ram fan having no idea what Stafford is about, trying to see what we got for 2 firsts and a third?
Ayyy this is why this video is blowing up. Thank you guys for checking this out 😂.
The dude is a beast. Hes criminally underrated. Tough as hell and can throw thru a brick wall
This guy puts his body through hell just to win, you have a special player
Attitude wise best QB in the game today. The media, ranks him like 20th out of 32. These guys on TV watch the games from the markets they live in. Watch a handful of highlights and then follow a narrative. No credit to this guy, pure will, and a canon for an arm.
What you got is the most underrated QB of our time. Now he has a chance to win the super bowl. Go win the dam thing Matt!
No quarterback sneak on the cowboys?
Rite and no run against the titans when trucks the DB
Rams need to get Matt a lot of weapons and go Super Bowl or bust like in 2018.
We have weapons moron
@@miltonlane9790 not really. Don’t have a deep threat. Great slot guy and a good possession receiver. Give Stafford a deep threat and you’re set but y’all got a couple check down options rn which was great for Goff but not for an actual QB. Moron.
@@iangiesler509 Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson, DeSean Jackson, and Tutu Atwell are all deep threats, and highly talented receivers. Hell man, even the tight ends Tyler Higbee and Jacob Harris can get down the field of need be
@@iangiesler509 aged.well
Great clips… BUT!
What about his 20+ yard pass to Calvin at the 1 yard line with only 19 seconds left and no timeouts?!? He frantically hurried everyone to the goal line and the Cowboys expecting him to spike the ball are resting on their heals. Stafford seeing this and being fast mentally just reached three yards over the goal line and won the game! That really needs to be in here
Matthew stafford is a great QB
Your missing the Kris Durham throw.
Agreed, should be in place of either the triple coverage throw to Johnson against the bagels, or the one at #1 against the browns, not really a good play just a tough QB full of adrenaline
Forgot the Dallas fake spike but yeah
That should've been number 2
Hardly his best throws. The throw to Durham to drive the Lions down the field to beat Dallas was the best throw.i have ever seen.
Absolute fax, the confidence, the absokute zero margun of error for that throw, the ball velocity. Criminal that throw is not recognized more
He Be throwing them balls like they weigh nothing. HOW
Super bowl
I'm sorry but #5 was all Calvin, Stafford just threw it up there and said a prayer
Wow no Stafford run against the titans when he trucks the DB
2Best throws: #1 & SB: Stafford/Kupp!
Why did I not see the cowboys game where Calvin caught over 300 yards and they came back Stafford called a no huddle clock the ball play call hike and sneaked the ball over the cowboys defense
Garopollo got injured that's too bad
Mathew Stafford is like garopollo
NOW- 🎩 20w/ Cooper!
The guys will never get the props he deserves on an unfortunate team for decades due to front office handicap suffers from no recognition cuz bad teams put the guys on 90s cowboys 00 patriots they would have ten rings BARRY CALVIN MATTEAU
My niggas
Glad rams
Id like to apologize to those who sign my paychecks and that's gonna be a TD pass to the other side to Marvin Jones
Take the andre roberts catch out and put in the Durham catch against Dallas. That was a crazy throw by stafford. Its the first play in this video. The arm strength required for this is insane, no one else in the league could do that till Josh Allen and Mahomes
czcams.com/video/J5jWeGKhyMA/video.html
More like lions wr highlights tbh stafford just has a strong arm good vid tho
He makes some plays though, some of his throws are unique and he uses his arm strength to throw darts 🎯
@@IconicFootball I’m a rams fan hopefully you are right and he goes off this year
No not at all lol did you see the play to Andre roberts that guy is like a backup kick returner he is nothing special the only one that was a wr highlight was the Hail Mary to Calvin
Yea they all got hands. Thats why they're receivers lol. He's pretty accurate tho. Cant make a perfect throw every time, they just gotta be catchable. If you can make a play on the ball then I'd say it was thrown pretty well.
Where's the fake spike??
These are more wr highlights than stafford highlights
Nah Bruh Stanford is crazy accurate
Just sleeps
Niner gang
whiner gang
@@hattershouse710 lol
Rams fan here and 9 of 10 of those catches was luck this dude is trash can't wait till the season start so they can't bench has ass or he get knocked out for the year in game one come on Bears don't let me down
Ummmm
You aint no Rams fan when you come with that negativity.
This aged poorly
Quite possibly one of the dumbest comments on youtube. Put some respect on Stafford, quit hating.
Yikes he just won a super bowl for the rams 🤧
