I have a vintage noe as well. I used a replacement baseball glove lace to replace my noe drawstring. The color, in my opinion, complements the vachetta so well. Yeah I bought it at Big 5 Sporting Goods.
Amazing! It's such a good size. I have the Noe BB too, but the patina is still very light. The weather is always terrible, so haven't had many opportunities to use it yet, but hopefully it'll be nicer this year =)
I usually leave the opening wide open so it doesn't crease the canvas when stored, especially when I'm unsure when I'll be using the bag next. Hope that helps 😊
Yes, I believe bags made in some years have slight variations and they don't all have D-rings despite being the same model. I am not 100% sure with the Noe GM though 😕
Just feed the scarf through the holes where the original vachetta cord goes. Take the leather cord out and it'll give you enough space for the scarf. Hope that makes sense 😊
I do still use this bag, but not as much as I would like because there isn't an interior pocket. With a bag this deep I can never find anything without rummaging. Congrats on your purchase. Such a classic!

There has definitely been jobs I've had that my LV bags were not appropriate for various reasons. Some in which others would judge me and some where everyone assumed they were fake (which I found very offensive that they assumed I would buy fake or that I can't afford real LV). At my current job, I feel very comfortable using my expensive bags. Probably the most comfortable I have been in terms of using designer items. It all depends on the job and environment I guess, but on the other hand, does it matter what people might think? Another environment I wouldn't feel comfortable using LV at work is when I'm trying to get a promotion or pay rise. It's silly to assume, but I feel like if someone can afford expensive bags then they don't "need" the extra money. This is probably all just me, but that's my opinion. Do you use your LV for work? x
Yuenny Lam I see what you mean. At my current job it's only part time so feel a bit conscious. Use mostly my epi.... And in the summer I'll cycle so will be using mainly my montsouris...
