don't know if you'll see this comment since it's been awhile since you posted this, but I'm currently looking into getting a vintage Noe GM with replaced vachetta and lining (!!!) - is the older canvas of the Noe really thicker than the new Noes that are in store now (2023)? I've heard that LV kept their canvas pretty much the same on SOME of their bags and skimped on some other styles (like the Speedy). xoxo
Hi Joelle :) I haven’t touched a Noé in store for quite a while so I unfortunately can’t comment on whether there is a huge difference compared to vintage ones.
The quality of the vintage Louis Vuitton are good. I have a Noe 1988. I prefer preloved. Thanks for sharing.

Hello ! Sorry, it’s been a while since you posted this video. I was just wondering if you paid any additional taxes in Hamburg 🙂
No worries. I did not pay any additional charges or taxes. The price that was displayed on Vestiaire was the price I paid. However, the seller was located within the EU. Might be different when the bag comes from outside the EU. Depending on the value you may have to pay import duties and taxes. Idk if Vestiaire covers that in advance and automatically calculates the additional charges into the price upon checkout or if it will be a surprise upon delivery of the item. Hope that helps.
Hello when you don’t use the bag you leave the cords tight or the wide opening?
I close the cords, but tie them rather loosely :)

I’ve seen more petite girls wear the Noe GM and it looked great on them! But of course, it’s quite a bulky bag to begin with. Might be overpowering on your small frame… I wouldn’t write it off entirely. Maybe try to see it in person?

I mean, big bags are having a comeback, but I see what you mean. Maybe, if you get the chance, try one on in the boutique to see how it looks on you? The strap is adjustable, so that might help. But the bag itself is indeed quite bulky.

Das mit dem Canvas liegt an Umweltbestimmungen. Das vintage canvas hat eine komplett andere Zusammensetzung. Im Zuge der strengeren Umweltbestimmungen bei der Produktion, musste die Zusammensetzung des Canvas angepasst werden, da im Alten verschiedene Stoffe bei der Produktion ins Abwasser gelangten, die nun nicht mehr dahin gelangen dürfen. 🙃
