7:30 I was actually at this one!! That trucks usually really good and one of my favorites! Some parts hit the roof of the grand stand so hard that it left a big Ole dent! The next two runs are also from the same night and if you look above the cab of the blue peaterbuilt after he blows, you can see the black mark on the roof from the other one! One of the better nights I've seen at that show!
That was a scary break. We’re lucky nobody was hurt. I look forward to hopefully coming back next year.

The "fire marshalls" are hilarious. 30 seconds after the fire is out they wander over with a water extinguisher...for an oil fire. May as well spit on it.

huge lift pumps, huge injectors, turn up the boost? Rinse and repeat when they explode?
for the semis, not the tractors. A supercharged hemi or whatever, yeah thats not cheap but ive seen semis for 1500 bucks. lol
I enjoy watching the big block vehicles really going all out But they really should find an announcer with a larger vocabulary 🤔

@5:08 how do you enter a pull and not know GM front ends are weak?
Somebody please explain to me why the custom multi-engined units nearly always have wheelbarrow wheels on the front? They very often can't take the live load of it bouncing and either bend or break right off. So is it to look cool or to get a low centre of gravity or what? Because to me if they put an offset stub axle with a normal sized wheel they would get on better but I guess it wouldn't complete the look?

Why are they steering heavily in air?
if you mean the way they sometimes flex and pitch around during pulls and wheelies, some of these setups churn out such insane horses and torque together that the frames of the trucks can’t handle them. when you see the front left wheel lift up, that’s the inertia of the crankshaft out-competing the entire weight of the front end. THAT’S how much power these engines churn out.
It was kinda obvious that CUMMIN APART was gonna blow up, it was smoking before it started pulling.
Also the award for sussiest name goes to CUMMIN APART.
And some people rise eyebrows when I tell them I have a 15k sound system.

it shoot flames like that every pass and is a tough semi. It was the first hook of the year and each puller is trying out different pieces and parts
I've noticed a couple things watching this, the announcer has absolutely no imagination, always repeating the same things. Also it's almost alarming how slow the guys in charge of the fire extinguisher are! An other thing, I don't know how often catastrophic failures like these happens, but considering the amount of money some of them have in their stuff, I'm surprised they don't have onboard fire suppression systems.
Some of these events are run by "family" and that's how it will always be.

It’s not done intentionally and unfortunately it’s not cheap when something breaks.
