Silly as it sounds, my fav aspect of the game is clothing. Sure, you can use high tech alien like vests, but usually, players stick with polo shirts, or a plain t shirt. Its kinda refreshing and i love it

No, it's dogshit. They modeled the plate carrier vests without the fucking plate inside. The vests don't even cover vital organs either. I'm not surprised since this game was developed by Ubisoft Paris. And we all know how the French go about with their military.
I love having badass outfit that mixes between modern and slightly old. Currently i use the toxic mask in a S.A.S outfit.
They should have added and option to go naked. Missed opportunity there.
As a person who has no experience with the past GR games, I absolutely loved this game. This was definitely in my top 5 games that I played in 2017. The amount of missions and story was great, not to mention the sheer size of the world. I also had a blast screwing around with my buddies. I would give this game a solid 8.5/10. Not the best game ever, but pretty darn good. Would definitely recommend.
Nah, I'd get this game but only dirt cheap. If you're buying this at full price, you're getting ripped off. You're better off paying for MGSV. MGSV wasn't even fully developed but it still holds up as a solid open world.

Y’all sleep on this game. You guys only hate on it because it’s made by Ubisoft. Which is understandable. But this game is legit. Bolivia is beautiful, it makes me want to visit it and see what they got right. I just can’t get over how huuuuuge the map is. It’s detailed. The graphics are great, considering how big the map is and how detailed it is. Big selection of guns, they sound great too. You can hear it echo and crack in the distance , so cool. Give the game a shot. It can be tactical with friends. Tbh I got the game just because it’s open world and the map size. This was a game for me and I honestly think you guys should give it a shot. Customization is great; you can customize almost every part of the gun. Just try it. Just cuz it’s Ubisoft doesn’t mean it’s shit. It’s a good game, it’s worth it. I love this game.

@@knight4847 that's what I am thinking about. Ubisoft logic is to release games continuously every year, but the features in each game are common. Like clearing camps, looting and tagging enemies. I've seen it in AC, FC, WD and even TC wildlands lol

Best part about this game: Switching from pilot to co-pilot mid-flight and watching your helicopter spin in circles as you fall to the ground.

The motion mechanics as far as character manipulation is an excellent detail.
The ability to roll on your back while in prone to get a shot off was one of the coolest things I found.
Shooting a rifle at long distances is another detail they took to the next level.
Distance shooting challenges the player by forcing you to adjust your X and Y axis to create a correctly placed shot.
I bought the game and I dont regret it even after watching this. If you want to play the game, dont listen to anyone and buy it

+Fariko Wishless Yeah, as long as you don't "run" the game program for more than two hours, right? That's really not enough time to make a determination on whether you "like" a game or not. Some games can take up to an hour just setting up your character and other preliminary stuff.
The refund/return policy on digital purchases isn't forgiving enough to make purchases on a whim.
What country are you in where you can purchase a game and return it in an opened package??

I would rank this up there with the old Ghost Recons. I used to play this on Camp Lejeune for the Marine Corps with my step father. The Ghost Recons back then were great, and this one is no exception. Yes there a few glitches, and a few bugs but it is a great game. Not to mention this game makes me feel like a SEAL.... however, my contract says I'm going into the aviation field...

I'm only 5 years late to the party, but for $36 for the ultimate edition with all the DLCs, I loved this game. (no past GR experience)
Teammate AI definitely seems to have improved.
Vehicle controls aside from the chopper are terrible. Narco Road DLC doubles down on driving and I hated that.
Fallen Ghost DLC is amazing, and I wish they had imported the extra skills they added for it back into the base game, as I still enjoy playing it and had to get used to not having a drone with the pistol shooting loadout again.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is honestly one of my favorite games of 2017 so far (I know its only March but still). It's tactical, every situation is open to different play styles and improvising, and it's fantastic to play with a team of friends when you all have separate strengths. For instance, I play with three friends: I'm the one that sneaks around right past the sicarios like a thief in the night, one is the sniper who plays overwatch and calls most of the shots, one is the heavy who sits tight in case I get spotted and is our main "improviser", and the last is the extra gun and main driver/pilot. So we split up the tasks pretty well, and we work as a team (except pilot and heavy are partially retarded, so it ends up being me and sniper carrying the other two on our backs).
I've played a lot of games which have done all of the aspects in this game a whole lot better. I don't give a crap about the huge map, it is filled with repetative shit. Give me destructable envrioments, no x-ray cheat vision, a decent AI, and gore. The respawn of enemies annoyed the crap out of me, whent in a building killed four sleeping guys, moved to the next building, came back they were all back again like nothing happenend. The choice between two of these fucking ubicrap piece of shit games came with my MSI GTX 1080ti. Should have came with a decent game like Nier Automata, fucking ubicrap banther piss wank.
then put it on realistic mode turn off your hud!!I'm pretty sure it will be extra challenging I have a difficult time on advanced lvl when Unidad is at a patrol lvl..and a lot of these bugs and issues I see people talk about I have rarely experienced any of them except the usual glitched car or heli doing something dumb when sitting still ..If you don't like it don't play it it's as simple as that..

Ian Beeman me and my sniper friend both played Fallout 4 heavily, and so this game was kinda like our multiplayer Fallout that we always wanted, despite it being a modern world and a heavily tactical shooter rather than launching mini nukes into a bunker until all the Raiders die

one of my most favorite games in the last 10 years. This and Red Dead Redemption. My friends say its repetitive and boring, whereas I put it down to your own play-style, it will be boring if you approach every stronghold the same!
I play mostly single-player. The teams AI is frustrating, however, drop them back for support, and you've got sandbox Splinter Cell with additional sniper support

Watching 7 years later after i bought it on sale for 10 bones
I'm not hating on the game because it's actually really fun to play with a group of friends I just want to point out my main problems with the game. It has a ridiculous amount of potential but a few things make it seem too simple and leave me wondering "That's it?". My biggest problem is that the story of this game feels so shallow for the most part which can cause boredom. I don't feel any sense of accomplishment after completing story missions because the game doesn't give any significant indication of its importance. Any accomplishment I do feel is when I complete side or story missions with my friends while remaining stealthy the whole time. The map size is fantastic and one of a kind in my opinion, but it feels pointless because the game should be using deeply interesting story missions with big rewards upon completion to make players excited to get to the next portion of the map. Ubisoft should have also made it a requirement to do a certain, but small, number of side missions before the next story mission in an area was available to make it feel like they, along with the rewards that come with them have some kind of importance. The lack of true substance to the missions in this game make it feel like a chore to complete the whole map instead of a prideful and fun accomplishment like it should be. Another problem is the driving which is clunky and weird but isn't so bad that I hate it. It could use some more responsive turning for sure although it's not a huge concern for me at all considering driving isn't vital to most missions. Customization for the player's body lacks choices but the rest of it as far as outfits, gear, and loadouts is pretty sweet. Especially the camos. There are so many different ways to make your character look badass and it's one of my favorite parts of the game. Overall the game is fun to play, especially with friends, but the lack of incentive and accomplishment makes the missions and map sections feel cookie cutterish which is a shame considering how epic they could and should be. I don't have a problem with the Tom Clancy title even though I did play the awesome old games. I understand the weight and expectation that title carries but clearly it was used to hype the game up in this case and despite that I'm not offended by their usage of it. Thanks to those who read

I love the story though, finding it mad how you take down security, influence etc and find interesting people like the guy who disolves the bodys for the cartel or El Gato who has survived so many injurys even the couple who torture people proffesionally, with the addition of the video clips with them makes me want to complete more
Ryan Atkinson good review. I agree. I wish they did something to really explain your character and to go deeper into who each enemy leader is and their significance. It's sort of mentioned in passing and it makes taking them down lackluster. Besides that though it's really fun
While I wont be buying the game myself. The reason wouldn't be it's bad story telling. I'm not big on fanciful romantics so I well orchastrated dramatic game is not my thing. I'm more of a military mission kind of guy. This game seems to have that since you have a clear goal. You are working in a military so any kind of drama would be a turn off. Any personal conversations from team mates or enemies would be an especial turn off as well. As long as they had unique characteristics for each bad guy leader with a personal touch between you and the whole enemy organization then that would be my game. Now i don't want you to think I'm contradicting myself when I say "personal touch" after the parts. What I mean when I say "personal touch" is just acknowledgement from the enemy organization of your actions against them.
Now the reason why I won't get it simply, because I can't totally solo the game. I've heard you can just tell your team to "hold", but that seems more like a tent in the backyard kind of fix which is a turn off. Ubisoft clearly did not want you to lone wolf this game and instead be a team player. So the vibe kills that for me especially when they said you could play the game the way you wanted. Really feels more like a lie.
They should have copied Shadow of Mordor's Nemesis system...

The game is amazing, I have finished plenty AAA titles (god of war, last of us, and many more), this game is pretty impressive, you can say it's repetitive here and there but if you like guns and exploring the world that's your game. You can play for 25 hours, give it a break with some other game, and pick it up again you don't need to play straight 120+ hours.
These comments are ridiculous, all games are repetitive now once you get so far into them. I think I've had to grind in every single game I've played for years.

i have a love/hate relationship with this game. got it day one. but i save the story missions do to with a friend of mine. so when im playing by myself the exploration and side missions get really dull quite fast. But when we tackle the story line togheter it's amazing. Great tactical gameplay especially with the HUD turned off and the difficulty maxed out. the huge settings the story brings us are awesome. And the bosses you hunt down have you really cool personality's and place within the santa blanca cartel. im defenitly going to play untill i kill El Sueno. and im curious what type of locations i'm going to see in the near future.

This game is just so good, been lookin for games that comes close to the Splinter Cell games I used to play wich is still one of my favorite games. Its so cool that you can just play it however you want. Graphics looks pretty sick! Also the customisation for you own character and your buddies is so cool! Also think this game is very underrated!! Now one of my favorite games I ever played!!
This is my first ghost recon games and with friends I really love it, one thing I like is when you drive a helicopter and you can see all the mountains and water from above which is really cool :D

I’ve been playing with a friend and I have really enjoyed it so far it got its hooks into us and we’ve lost a lot of time just doing mission after mission in different ways or dying in hilarious ways. Definitely get this only if you’ve got a friend or squad to play it with.

It saddens me quite a bit that Ubisoft seems to destroy the heart and soul of their Tom Clancy games only to replace it with marketing buzzwords such as: "big open world", "massive opportunities", "play it alone or with friends", "online".
Ghost Recon is basically an elite soldier fantasy, especally advanced warfighter nailed this concept. You were deep behind enemy lines, you had to rely a lot on tactics to be able to succeed with your missions. How you positioned your teammates was of high importance, routes you chose to your objectives, with what weapons you equipped yourself and your teammates and etc. It was especially fun when shit hit the fan in some scripted moments. When you had to succeed with your mission within a limited time frame, or how you were caught and had to retreat from your position.
There were a special sense of accomplishments when you managed to keep your cool in those situations, use your head and still succeed with your mission. That was immersive as hell and truly was the heart and sould of previous Ghost Recon games. They managed to create that elite soldier fantasy!. I only played the beta of Wildlands but it became obvious to me quickly that they cut out the soul of this game which I previously mentioned. I'd much rather play a linear game such as future soldier and advanced soldier which had tons of replay value instead of a bug fest like Wildlands. I will become genuinely sad if they try to do something weird with my personal favorite Splinter Cell.

I got the game in late November or early December, just before the Predator challenge came live, and I really LOVE IT. First of all, they NAILED the whole Predator experience, it was awesome. But also, playing the game in hard mode makes it more challenging, and it definitely is better with friends. By far one of my favorite games of 2017.

Doing my second play through after almost a year and it's really a great to be playing it again.
I absolutely loved the game. replaying it currently with a bunch of friends since it was on sale. 2 things I'd like to mention which wasnt covered in the video: 1) you can make it as hard or as easy as you want, down to every detail. I highly recommend turning off ALL HUD elements (marked enemies, area of danger on the minimap etc) and setting it to the hardest difficulty. tough as nails but lots of fun with buddies. 2) people saying the story sucks didnt actually listen or just plowed through it. while I might agree the main protagonists (the ghosts and your handlers) are bland and boring at times, this game has some truly fucked up missions. from people getting disolved in acid, fed to pigs alive, slaughtered in nazi like concentration camps, sex slaves and other things.
How a game like this doesn't have anything like the Nemesis system in Shadow of Mordor is beyond me. No power vaccums when you take out leadership, no interesting consequences from meddling with big time drug lords. Such a wasted opportunity

Bought the game yesterday (I know really late) and I love it. The open world and the stealthy tactical feel it's great. It is such a cool game and In my opinion one of the best.☺
I love the heck out of this game I don’t know about y’all but I have somewhere around 92 hours on ghost recon wild lands, I have almost every single weapon ,completed almost every region, and started playing this game from the second week it came out and it still never gets old for me. I hope there are still some people like me that are still enjoying the game as much as I do.

Ghosts Recon and all other games would be so much better if they bring back split screen all the games these days are single player

Xavier Wilcher yes we really need split screen back. its a key part of video gaming, its one of the things that made video games what they are. for example, take halo (the origina) it had split screen and it was amazing, talking to your friend or relative and having a blast, until halo 5, when they rempved it, but now the company saw their mistakes and are now adding split screen to the next halo game. Me personally i love split screen and love to play it with my little brother because we can have that much fun. i was really looking forward for wildlands having split screen.

I agee. People can't easiely play with family at their own house anymore. Everyone is just expected to have their own console/PC. *cough cough PC master race*

The reason they didn’t do much progression customization is because they wanted it to be realistic. The division has lots of progression customization but you can shoot a tank with 300 bullets and just break the armour. In this game, it’s one shot headshot, 2-3 bullets for t-shirt sicarios or 4-6 for light or heavy armour characters. I really like that there is not that much progression in your gear because I’ve never liked being one shot by a enemy to later come back with a new helmet and shoes and have them cower in my presence

This game is the best.. i played it in 2021 and not a single regret about it.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is the best game ever and well worth buying. It is massive and will keep you busy having fun. The patches have fixed loads since it was launch and more still to come.

One of my biggest issues was that they were hyping up a feature where you can tackle a mission however you choose. In the trailers, they allowed a cartel leader to live as it would affect later missions, or stealing a truck of cocaine, or blowing up the lab.
This is exaggerated, as the only option you have is you can go in quietly or loudly, since some missions can be completed stealth. Some are strictly stealth or vice versa.
Otherwise, the only other option is which mission you play next.
Those two options are the only choice you get when tackling a mission.
Amazing dirtbiking. The steering is insane. Favorite way to travel but road missions are rough lol

I’ve played all the GR games. The whole ‘receive intel and do the mission’ thing is still there but it’s also FILLED with secondary stuff. Ubisoft took their cues from Rockstar on the free roaming sandbox and maybe a nod to Bethesda for character development. Bottom line- I love playing this game. The story is gritty and compelling. It is visually stunning and controls/gameplay highly intuitive. Yeah, there’s no rail gun or ion cannon but I’m not one to hump the god mode concept. All options avail. Well thought out stealth approach or full on run and gun. Far exceeded my expectations.

On PC there's a bit of a weird thing it's got going where if you turn down the graphics settings (I'm playing in a location where the ambient temperature is over about 100F atm, so my graphics card was skitzing out on me from the heat on higher settings) you can have situations where the lighting system they use for the sun glare during sunset will happen to you indoors. I was indoors in a basement and I had serious semi-blinding sunstrike off every surface in the room.

Cross compatibility is finally out and I want to play with my friend. He says he loves wildlands and so I looked into it to see if I should get it and play with him. Fist place I always go to know if games are good is gameranx before u buy. But after this and after the rest of my research, Im loving wildlands. It's absolutely amazing.

Wildlands is exactly what I've been waiting for in a shooter all my life! Seriously it action packed the story is great i completely love that the customization is already made available for you character and u dont have to spend the whole game looking for shit or waiting till somthing is aloud to be used or upgraded, I love that its open world and if i dont feel like playing online i can free roam in the world and get into thing's, love the weapons and love that scenery, love that i can choose what i want to do and when i want to do it & how im gonna do it.... This is what i want in games no fake unbelievable bullshit no moon boots and flying around on walls just real life good old fashion gun fighting. I hope wildlands keeps!!!! making sequels, ill always buy them. Cant wait for wildlands 2!!! Good job!

Just got this game and in some strange way it reminds me of playing the merceneries game. Ive enjoyed it so far but it can be abit buggy, ive already got stuck three times inbetween rocks and wasnt able to free myself so had to fast travel to a different location. I wish the upgrade system was a little different aswell, its not bad but i would of liked more variety, Apart from a couple of little things i think its a great game.

This game got a hell of a lot more fun and interesting once I started playing on the extreme difficulty. Feels more fulfilling wiping out a whole base without being detected at all.
I didn't like it at first but I just started playing it again and I really like it now it reminds me of days gone with the gameplay and character animations
After playing the beta i wasn't shure if i should buy that game, but i did and it was totaly worth it. Playing alone works very well too but its funny to play with friends. I thought the open world wouldn't be that good but its well done. So Ubisoft made finally a good game again. I like Division but this one is also very good. Ok the driving is not that good and i think i finally need better hardware, because playing between 30-45 fps isn't that great, but its ok. And i don't know why but Super High looks better than Ultra 😁

The game is fun and I like it but, metal gear is way above this game’s league. Sure this game does do things better than metal gear like co-op mode, crossover events (predator), etc. It still lacks quality. What quality, you may ask? Terrible AI ( on second hardest difficulty), repetitive gameplay, and that is the least I can name.
That's exactly what I told myself when I first played this game.
Blasteryak 1063 if you don’t like the A.I there is an option to turn it off, and the gameplay is kind of repetitive yes, but that’s what makes it realistic, you won’t have different guns or vehicles for every single different mission, it keeps it simple as how a real life delta force team would. Other than that the graphics, multiplayer/Co-op are just better, not to mention that the game has a wave survival mode and a competitive multiplayer ranking system along with two DLCs. MGSV is good, I got it and played it when it went free for Xbox free gold month, but it is not as good as GRW
Lol play mgsv that game is lit, the AI adapts to you, what I mean by that is if you keep using the same loadout over and over again the enemy will eventually change their loadout to deal with your loadout and if you don't go in stealthy you might get screwed

I ve never played a game like this before. I loved it. I finished all a the missions and now I am going online with other people to replay the missions or side missions. It never ends. Also is super fun to play on the higher difficulty level. It gives u a more realistic view of how it is to be killed very easily. But also the enemies die a lot harder. And they have aimbot and wallhack. But still. Awesome.
I just started it on Xbox game pass last night! And I played for a few hours. This game is amazing! It reminds me of the movie Extraction. And no.. It's not more fun with friends. As a solo player the A.I is competent enough to make me feel especially like an actual leader. Taking enemies out two at a time with the A.I. was so bad ass! Felt like I was playing an action movie that wasnt over-the-top like Just Cause is.

Just got my Xbox One X and I decided to play this Game first and I’m very impressed so far. I like the open world and all the content within. Nice video by the way.
