I want to make same angel wings. I don't have "v" stick. Does the straight stick give the same result?
I have one at home that I bought off a local girl that makes them, and the pattern looks different , you will surely find a video with a straight stick though 😆😎🌸
If you are using a straight stick, you just need to come from the outer edge, from left to right until you hit the middle...then, you start the other half from the right to the left...it the only way to get separation between the wings if you cannot find a V shaped stick out in nature...at least that's what I did because I live in a busy city without a lot of trees that I'm able to find a stick in the V shape like hers. The fringe strand doesn't need to be 16" since you're not going the entire length of the project. I found that 8-10" was plenty but I was using 2mm cord and so my project is smaller...So, you may need to conduct a little trial and error to get the look you want.
