Hey I’m a fellow American born brown girl. It’s really cool to see you travel to Afghanistan and be so open minded abt the experience and it’s super courageous being solo and all. Thanks for providing this info and dispelling some misconceptions, that’s what it’s all about!
I would love to go one day, but seeing this makes it feel tangible :)

Awesome video! Now I'm interested in going. Did you have to lock down a local guide before you could get your visa?
Nope easiest visa of my life 😂 (minus the burka I had to wear)
@@Lostshmi okay sweet, so where did you set up your guide? I'm thinking of stopping in Islamabad to get a visa and see a bit of Pakistan whike I'm at it

Lakshmi, do you know if afghan visa is also same day in uae like your same day visa in peshawer? If not same day, how many days wait is it? Thanks.
It’s possible but depends on timing. I’ve heard that it generally takes 1 day tho
Does someone knows more about the traveltime and the climate?
❤❤😊
😍😍👍👍
do you know how I can get a visa from USA? I live in Los Angeles and an trying to ge visa to attend a friends wedding
I don’t think it’s easy to get from the US but you can get easily from neighboring countries! And then go from there
Hi, how did you get the permissions for travelling through Afghanistan? I want to cross from Uzbekistan and I think I will need them directly? Do I have to contact a guide?
Hello. I think you can get visa in Afghan embassy in Uzbekistan and easily cross the border.
Hey, I am an Uzbek from Afghanistan. You can obtain a visa from the Afghanistan embassy in Tashkent, then cross the land border from the Termez region in Uzbekistan.
Get visa on arrival , permits are for CZcamsr or someone getting a video film.
Its not a possible to issue a visa in Istanbul, Turkey ?
Not that I know of!
The permits are for you-tuber , not for everyone.
Hai lakshmi
I am from kerala
Big fan of you 😊
Hi, I was born in the west and never visited my homeland. How do I get Afghan passport?
Hello, I am not sure how you’d do that, however I’m a U.S. citizen (born in Russia) and I just had to show that a parent of mine was born in Afghanistan. Used my parents old Afghan passport in which I was included. Hope this helps.
You can't. Afghanistan doesn't recognize dual citizrnship.
Can you tell us the story of finding the money and time for your first trip?😊😊
Helo ❤❤
You can get a visa on arrival .
Is this the rule now?
Do you actually need a visa to enter the country? The ones issuing the visas are holdovers from the old government so it would be weird for the Taliban to accept them
They check the visa at the border on entry and on exit at the airport. But it’s true that inside the country, no one gives a s**t about the visa haha
@@Lostshmi I treval next month to afghanistan without visa, from turkey to kabul, hope it works ................ 😐
Afgan Jalebi Lechu 🔥
😄😄
Haloooooo❤❤❤❤
HIIIII 😄😄
I want travel to Afghanistan from Europe but without Visa I cant.
How I can get this stupid visa please let me know how
Edit:
Thanks a lot will save your Email in my contact list
Heheh I just added time stamps so you don’t have to listen to me ramble for 20 minutes to find relevant info 😅
Where are you from? I think you can apply for visa and get it in one day in any Afghan embassy.
You can obtain a visa from the Afghanistan embassies in Uzbekistan, Iran, UAE, Turkey or Pakistan. Ask them you are a tourist, and they may organize everything for you.
Hi, I sent you an email with a few questions
I was charged 160 in Islamabad as of this month. The Taiwanese next to me in the embassy paid 130. I was quoted 80 by the embassy directly, however...British and Americans apparently have to pay 160 now...I am aware this is a scam 😃😃
The Taliban that I had learn from the Western media is not the Taliban that you are showing, it is a very different Taliban
Nice! Video, Thank you for this video. A different experience in tourism. Expats living here.👍 'Expatsofa'.🌸
I heard a British youtuber named "lord miles" got arrested by the Taliban. So I guess it's not safe there?
Maybe he did something that was not legal there. Each month 100s of tourists mostly from the west visit and nothing happens to them.
It’s possible to visit safely and many do but I made this video to also highlight the complexities of traveling to afghanistan. There are rules and they are constantly changing and you have to be careful. And definitely wouldn’t ever call it 100% safe 🥹
The permits are for everyone
Beautiful Lakshmi
Are you the same Laxmi who had travelled with Mohammad Anas I,e ''Travel With AK'' or not??
We were together for just a couple of days. A day in Kabul and then share car to Bamyan.
Im planning a trip to Afghanistan, great informative video but you should be much more prudent in telling your travel experience. Afghanistan is an extremely dangerous country, the taliban may not be the current stereotype but are extremely dangerous still. There is virtually no one that will save you if anyone decides to harm you
It is definitely a place to be cautious as a traveler
💀💀
You have gone to TLBN controlled embassy in Pakistan (the biggest supporter of the TLBN regime). That is why they gave you a burka.
Yeppp
Smile please 📷📷📷
You want to Visit our Country ? But in the West telling lies about our Country Afghanistan ..
Yes I already visited. I know the media only shows one side
