durango has the 6.4L engine. fca downsized the displacement to 6.2 to ensure the combustion chamber can handle all the boost from the supercharger. fca stock engines are not made for boosting. dont supercharge your engine, just get it tuned.
Dodge needs to run this setup in the Ram, not sure why they don't. Congrats btw!

Both add power. I would go whipple with forged rods, bearings, and crank.
So im pretty new to modding vehicles but i do have to ask if i should be getting anything tuned when adding any sort of modification. I bought a used 13 durango citadel 5.7 awd and added throttle body spacer, cold air intake, a jet performance mod and a borla exhaust kit and it does sound great and i seem to feel an increase but its should be well over 400 hp and i dont feel what that should be. Just need some opinions on what should be done after any mod. Thanks man and everyone else. Going to school for auto tech but i am only 2 semesters in.
You could get a 5.7l Intake that's deeper than just a CAI and yes a tune would help "unlock" some more HP and that should be enough.

Thanks Jaime! I would use Penzoil ultra platinum 0w40 for the 6.4. If you must use your own and dont want the dealer oil. I can only recommend AMS Oil, 0W40.

I'm currently waiting for the 2018 chevy Tahoe RST with the 6.2L V8 performance package and will be comparing it to the Durango SRT. I know the Durango has a more powerful engine, but I think the Tahoe has more options. What do you think?
i think the tahoe with the 6.2 is just as slow as it is with the 5.3

Definitely not a track hawk killer sorry bro. Needs more than that. The track hawk is faster than the hellcat at some points. Meeting it in horsepower probably still doesn’t bring it past either
It was just the title if I supercharge. If I do in fact supercharge. It will be getting DSS driveshafts, forged Rods, pistons and machine work and running 12psi. Which on any wk2 Jeep SRT has been pushing 750whp. SRT jeeps stock run 0-60 best times of 3.7/3.8. I have run 3.8 in the Durango. So equal drivers, conditions and hp mean similar performance.
