I'm excited to hear of plans for ADV events at Penmerryl. I camped there a couple of nights earlier in the Spring, right after the Bret Tkacs course concluded. It is really a great place, and the folks that run it are some of the nicest hosts I've ever encountered. Your idea of a "mini-overland expo just for adventure bikes" is intriguing. Those of us who live and ride on this side of the Mississippi really need some more, and more accessible, events specific to ADV. Penmerryl is an ideal location--a reasonable road ride from lots of mid-Atlantic and Southeast urban areas, but with the kind of terrain and scenery that makes for great adventure motorcycling. I'll keep checking for updates and hope I can take part in whatever you have planned! Congratulations on the pending addition to your family !

Don’t sell yourself short as a writer! I’ve always thought you had a face for radio and a voice for print! Can’t wait to read it. I’m curious to see how you capture the trip in monosyllabic words. Those long single garage shots are epic. You should try getting more drywall detail shots with the drone. Just an idea. Can’t wait to see how that room shapes up. I’ll wait and see if this a “promises made, promises kept” kinda thing but I’m excited to see what you’ll share with us. And the gear you are provided that doesn’t become a part of your standard gear list?….got a creative community-serving idea for all that? What a wonderful idea you say?
