    Well the album will apparently be even heavier than that according to the producers. So that's exiting!

    If you have listened to hyper music, stockholm, assassin, deadstar etc this heaviness shouldnt be a surprise, they have always had this in them

    • @TriggeredTuesdays
      @TriggeredTuesdays  Před 2 lety +2

      I feel like we should have clarified, they’ve always had heavy songs, just in the last few years, a lot more of the material is much more ‘radio friendly’ or commercial. So hearing this sound come back is welcome! Thanks for joining us!

    • @proevoisace7
      @proevoisace7 Před 2 lety +1

      @@TriggeredTuesdays See i'd say songs like The Handler, Reapers, Psycho, The Darkside etc all still have that heaviness but they have put out a few songs that are more radio friendly

    • @TriggeredTuesdays
      @TriggeredTuesdays  Před 2 lety

      Definitely! And heaviness is subjective, a lot more of the recent material is ‘heavy’ in a production sense with a lot more audible distortion etc. But some of the older material has more musically heavy moments, that’s what we love!

    • @LJC94512
      @LJC94512 Před 2 lety +2

      Their latest output is most certainly not radio friendly. It’s just more electronic and less raw.

  • @Keepnhonest
    @Keepnhonest Před 2 lety +2

    Re. interpretation ... it seems most folk completely miss the intention behind the lyrics. The track has another title; 'Living Vicariously' & may be better described by a phrase from the song; 'Psychological Warfare'. For it is all about a world-wide psychological warfare between a few old men (represented by the old dude in a wheel chair) & the mindless masses (represented by those under his control). So the one singing the words is standing strong - outside these visuals - refusing to 'stand down', which is what he would be doing by joining in the system of manipulation by the slave-master over the masses of mindless slaves. A great song with incredibly intelligent lyrics.

    • @TriggeredTuesdays
      @TriggeredTuesdays  Před 2 lety

      This is such a great interpretation!

    • @Keepnhonest
      @Keepnhonest Před 2 lety +1

      @@TriggeredTuesdays Thanx for the reply. The next song 'Compliance' continues this theme of mind control & surrender (by complying to the manipulation), steadily turning people into zombies as the visuals expose - all with face masks lacking any compassion & where drugs are 'pushed to keep us all dumbed down' (from Uprising). This all continues a general Muse focus set up with such songs as Globalist, Thought Contagion, MK Ultra, Stockholm Syndrome, Drones, City of Delusion, Con-Science, Time is Running Out, Uprising, Dead Inside etc. We should all be thankful that we still have one major band working to expose the truth in a world of lies.
