Thanks for the info! I have always wanted to put a 'Rat Motor' n my '57, but after watching this video, I'll keep it simple with a small block Chevy engine. It's still running its '66-67 Nova 327.. I rebuilt that engine back in 1976, and it's still running, although it is getting a bit 'tired' by now.. I'm 64 years old and a bit 'larger' than I was in my earlier years. It just ain't as easy as it use to be for me to work in tight spaces.. That and my 'hide' isn't as tough as it used to be...
I just bought a 57chevy 4wd it's just a rolling chassis, it was a napco conversion, but now has a dana44 in front... I'm hoping I can have a little more play with clearance underneath, but this has really helped with clearance issues so far in front, thanks!!

Great video! I'm hoping to put a 454 into my 57 4 door hardtop next year or the year after.

that was a lot of info in one video, thanks for that good tutorial!!
Just modify the firewall a little, leave the motor in the stock position and save all that work. You can use your stock pan, driveshaft etc.
Yikes !! ... thanks for the info ... I think I'll just stick with my small block, lol !
