iOS 12 was very good. It didn’t bring many new features over 12 but it was very stable and performed good on pretty much everything that ran it. I stayed on it even after iOS 13 replaced it on devices that got 13. I think it’ll be somewhat ridiculous if Apple drops the A11 line for iOS 17 as rumors suggest, because they are still very powerful as this video suggests.

iOS 12 was the best iOS version but all of the optimizations from iOS 12 transferred to newer iOS versions meaning the same optimizations from iOS 12 are also in iOS 16 but iOS 12 has better battery life than iOS 16

Technically I use an iPhone 8 (iPhone X), And I'm only running IOS 14.8.1, and I have noticed it's starting to struggle with some stuff. But like you said in the video it's still kinda impressive almost 6 years later, how well it runs overall.

Can you do same phone vs phone but except one should do TikTok, IG , CZcams etc on the browser instead of the apps.
Then do another video with different web browsers to see which browser keeps the battery running the longest on the same phone

Most of these apps is on old version so its normal its not as fast as ios 16 where you have the newest versions
