Promeai has a strong propensity to create multi-level Hampton style Mac-Mansions (up-size me, Maccas) type designs and constantly tries to add peaked roofing even when I specify (sloped) flat roof design and minimal variation to the uploaded image. I used the image-variation tool. The other forms of doodling produced even less usable results.
I tried uploading an image of the outside view of our home. Then asked Promeai to keep the original look, but extend the length of the top deck and first level room. I tried varying levels of the variation control from an absolute minimum up to maximum. I also tried many different ways of framing my request for a top level extension to the existing flat roof architecture (as for an Australian home design from 2012).
Summary:
Not a useful tool for trying to visualise practical extensions on an existing home.
At present, Promeai is useful as a toy for free form architectural fantasy.
I look forward to how Promeai evolves and improves.
