As someone who genuinly likes Alchemy Stars, and thinks its underrated. This is really hype.
The one feature that would elevate Aether Gazer...SWAPPING BETWEEN CHARACTERS DURING COMBAT. If the actually allowed that it would dynamically improve the game for me
I still play alchemy stars and their art and character design is one of my favorites to this day. Also, all the party being on the field at the same time? This is hype

The party being on-field all the time isn't that new, Aether Gazer did that almost 2 years ago in CN I think. However, this may be the first time I've seen this implemented in an open world game (can't remember if AK Endfield had this feature in their CBT though). Btw is Alchemy Stars worth playing in 2024? How is the grind like?
@@WadeWontson Right, it's not new, but extremely rare. Yes, from the upcoming gachas, only Endfield is like that too. So, I'm really hyped about this aspect, being open world and all. Alchemy Stars, in my opinion, is better than ever. Since the director Tourdog left, they've implemented a lot of quality of life improvements and game modes. The grind is easy with sweeps and theres no rng stats with the equipment. They are really generous too. Nowadays, I think it's a very good game to try since dailies are fast. Give it a shot for sure if the gameplay is your cup of tea.

Alchemist Star is the best gacha game that I have ever played. It's not about the gameplay, it's about the storyline, which is really good. Most of the time, I never really care about the story in a gacha game most of them are just too boring to follow.
But Alchemist Star is different, the story is built up with the perfect phase along with the perfect heroine, vice.
The TOF callouts kill me every time. lol

Wow! I've never played Alchemy Stars before but I would definitely check this out. This game already looks really good even though it's so early. The characters are very expressive, and the ability to seemingly field multiple units and swap between them is such a innovative idea within the open-world gacha genre! MUST FIELD ALL THE WAIFUS!!! I'm so stoked for more details on this game along with Azur Promilia
Yep i dont like the gameplay because it is not my type. But, their characters art are really top tier. I hope they bring OG AS characters to AS2. I really like Xuan Ji desgin and want to see her in 3D.

Its nice to see Arknights and Alchemy Stars, two gacha games with the best and glorious arts in all of anime gacha games, proceed to go to to the 3d anime action path. I believe that 3d action (open world or not) is the future of hit gacha games. Especially those with IPs who startes with games with admittedly not-so-engaging and thrilling gameplay. Hope to see more of this in the future.
I really hope they will save original Alchemy Stars aura. It was really Pure and Magnificent. I never seen something like this.

Gosh im so excited, AS has some of most favorite character designs, sometimes i just go through the list to marvel at the literal tens and tens of characters and their skins. It's good that this is early development, im hoping to see some cool looking characters later on, etc, etc. They have good music imo, and I did like their UI.
I'm literally dying for next year to come, i really hope Tour Dog plays it safe with this one 😭 Literally on my knees begging for them to be good to this game.
Edit: Okay i made it to the concept art and let me just tell yall that AS: AB has soooo much better/cleaner designs, like wayyyyy better. Then again, just concept, cant wait to see more updates.

As a big fan of Alchemy Stars I love what I'm seeing, sad that the old characters don't seem to be here... Maybe a sequel or prequel?
Also I think the male characters look great as they are, specially up close, from afar the male MC did look a bit basic, maybe because his design is mostly brown, I hope both MCs are like a duo like The Caelestite and Vice in Alchemy Stars 1.

As alchemy stars player the charm of the game is the tactical conversion elements which very unique. I was expecting that like how the the characters see a trail of the element guiding them or a skill that can create an elemental environment to enhance more damage with the same element like the original.
Absolutely. It's not appealing when games with such a cool and unique mechanics are turned into generic open-world ARpgs with no unique combat.

I loved the game. Played it since launch i think i dropped it around the time when that big tiddy sniper blue girl dropped. It's a very polished game but i just got bored after a while and got tired of gachas altogether.

Aww everything is an ARPG. I don't dislike the genre but I want fodder for my phone and these usually translate poorly to mobile.

I'm so tired of the boring main character look. It's always a neutral color pallet with a geneic anime face. I truly don't ever care about them and if i can avoid using them I do at all times. I'd much rather they give you a 10 pull with a guaranteed random SSR and you just play from there. Make the story fit around tje characters not some "mysterious person that randomly appears" or "low rank nobody becomes a literal god because their mum fucked a rock and that rock happened to be a god 5000000 yrs ago."
