Ok, now Devins former Band
Strapping young Lad - Detox or
Strapping young Lad- Love đđ€
4:30 "Love's a bitch for sure. But if you feel like it at any point though, you know, pick a tempo." Devin just straight out trolling his own audience.
Weird how rarely any reaction channel picks that pick up, i laugh everytime đ
Also the fact the Dev looks back at Ryan (the drummer) when the audiences looses the beat..."maybe give them a pointer"....and then even tries to nod the beat and the audience still is all over the place.
@@jctheii Those reactors are too worried about putting on a fake exposive reaction for show and miss it. These two seem to be a little more realistic.
Right up there with "Ladies and Gentlemen, God...."
@@HalkerVeil I haven't hardly seen any other reactors putting on a "fake explosive reaction" to this performance
Should do Funeral-Bastard-The Death of Music from this same gig, all in one. Nothing short of monumental.
1000% this
10000000 % This ! , Make it happen guys pleaaaaaseee đ
Devin Townsend Project - "Grace" or "Kingdom" live from The Retinal Circus. Both feature the divine Anneke Van Giersbergen. Buckle up and prepare to be blown away. đ€đ„
I saw this song, for the first time, about 6 years ago. It still blows my mind.
Edit: wow. Thank you for hearting my comment. 4 months too late but: My own summer by deftones as an intro?! Yep hell yeah!
Devin is awesome. And what's even more amazing is this whole concert he was getting over being sick with flu/bronchitis and hated the way his voice sounded
Devin Townsend IMO is the most underrated vocalist combo guitarist or singer songwriter in the history of metal. Going back to his early days with Steve Vai, to Strapping Young Lad, and currently with his solo project this guy just is amazing but for some reason he didn't become bigger than he currently is in metal. Plus he is much more then a metal musician as well. He can do it all.
7:00 and beyond. That's when it hits em. Best reaction ever. Her right eyebrow goes up, mouth opens, he sets back in his chair. That's Devi in a nutshell. Makes ya wanna start a Go Fund Me. đ€Łđ€Ł
Devin is an absolute showman and his skills back him up on it. You should watch the full show.
Opeth - Godhead's Lament
Opeth - The Amen Corner
You should check out Strapping Young Lad - Detox, right up your alley. There's an incredible live version Devin did during his Retinal Circus concert with the DTP and original Strapping guitarist Jed Simon. Video is " Devin Townsend - Detox en vivo " on YT. Seeing Jed and Devin back together on stage after like 5 years is magical. Crowd and band are both insane.
Give us.. The Ocean... Jurassic Cretaceus.. Cmooon
Love the insane high notes he hits in this song, god damn heâs incredible..
Gojira - Mouth of Kala (Mario goes OFF, double bass for days)
The Ocean - Jurassic | Cretaceous (DinoMetal lol but seriously this band is great)
Rishloo - Seven Rings Left (I canât say enough about this band itâs like Tool and Deftones had a baby)
Hoope yall check these out one day
Mouth of kala is one of my favorite Gojira songs. Doesn't get love the in reaction scene unfortunately. Hopefully they check it out!
@@marcusweatherbee8195 Same with The Ocean, except for drum reactions!
RISHLOO GANG
Every time I listen to Devin Townsend, I feel like I need a cigarette afterwords. This guy has one hell of a set of pipes on him. The Wall of Sound is supreme!
I knew this awesome dude would love Devy.
Higher Next Live
The Ocean- Jurassic | Cretaceous
Please guys! Watch Devin Townsend Band and the video for Vampira!
There you will se Dev as the fun and limitless entertainer he is. Also he displays his incredible vocal range well there. Gice it a try and try not to smile!
đ€đđ€
So happy to see you both discovering more Devin. His art has been one of the best compliments to my life. Thanks very much. You can always count on his live performances are just that extra notch up in the epic department - and surprisingly intimate at the same time Cheers
He played this concert literally after getting rid of a severe flu
The death of music in that concert is fucking epic.
I really recommend "By Your Command" but Devin Townsend. It's my favorite by him and it would be amazing to see y'all's reaction đ€
Devin is a genius!!!!
Bridging the gap between screamo and operatic metalâŠ
Good God, heâs breathtaking.
Your faces at the end says it all âŠ. Heâs a mutant musical genius đ€đ»
You two do not need to dress up for anything, you're always beautiful!
This fucking ENORMOUS sound Devin Townsend can create makes you wonder why all music doesn't sound like that. I mean, yeah, not all music is trying to blow you away but it's still such a massive feeling, any artist should want to create that sensation in people.
You two have great chemistry doing this. It's seen that you really enjoy music and enjoy it together. Love your reactions !
Devin Townsend is right next to Steven Wilson for me for favorite songwriters. Easily.
Gojira - L'Enfant Sauvage
Karnivool - Deadman
đ€
I like to call his style "Intergalactic metal".... it just takes you on a journey :)
Been suggesting some Devin for months. Glad you finally did it. Your right the "genre" is Devn Townsend Project. Have to see and hear to believe. đ€đ€
Love how stunned you both are around the 7 min mark. I can relate.
This man has INCREDIBLE control over his voice
Watched Devin Townsend at Bloodstock last weekend, Detox fucking goes hard live
Y'all need to do kingdom by Devin
You should probably react to his tune LOVE with his old band Strapping Young Lad. It features the Atomic Clock Gene Hoglan on drums.
Yes this song is so good! Crazy voice performance
Heavy Devy's the man. One of the most versatile artists in music imo. If you want something heavier and brutal from him check out his work in Strapping Young Lad, "Love?" in particular is a real banger.
Haha this gotta be the best reaction channel out there. I donât know you guys and I feel such connection with you guys throughout the music I love, that I almost consider you my fiends haha. Keep on!!
Thereâs a few rabbit holes you guys need to dive in. Meshuggah - Mastodon - Tesseract - The Faceless to name a few.
You have to do Devin Townsend Project "Grace" Live from The Retinal Circus. YOU HAVE TO! đ€Ż
Love how you two feel the guitar and the music so deeply đ
Loved you reaction video. It made me smile.
The venue in the Royal Albert Hall is divided in two parts. The first part is the Ziltoid musical which is amazing to say the least. If you love the music of Devin Townsend as much as I do this is something you have to watch. The song Deadhead was recorded in the second part of the concert where they played songs from Devin's long standing career.
Another good watch is the "Retinal Circus". Another great musical. You won't be disappointed.
First time I heard Devin singing was in 1993 on Steve Vai's third Album "Sex and Religion" I never lost track of him since I heard that record. I'm listening to his music for 30 years and I'm still getting chills and shivers running down my spine. Never tired of listening to his music. Keep up the great work. My best wishes to you.
Fuck yes.
Awww yeah, DTP is a religious experience!
waiting for demon of the fall đđ
the joy you two have for music is great to see.
Yes! My favourite Devin song by my favourite reactors!
Townsend vocal range is insane. Super dynamic tonally. You should check out Kingdom next
Master Townsend
Welcome to the world of Heavy Devy. The Genius of our time. The Music will touch your soul and you'll be the same. đŻđ„đ€.... This almost 3 hour concert was done with him getting over a cold and it's perfection!!!!
Earth Day...same night he did this show. Worth it in every way.
You guys should check out the song Devin Townsend song Genesis live from London. From the last tour before everything went to hell. Wanna talk about âwhat to classify this?â that song will blow your mind.
Wall of sound!
You guys need to react to a Dimash Kuderburgen SOS! Because of how much you appreciate good music.
Vocals from another planet
recommend any of the plovdiv concert with the orchestra too if you enjoyed this.
Gotta see( Bastard) at Royal Albert hall as well. Strapping young lad (Detox) is good choice as well.
this was 2.5 hrs into a 3 hr set. They did 1.5 hours of the new album, and a break and then a casual dressed down2nd half of a by-request set from fan votes for the last 1.5hrs.
Cattle Decapitation - The Unerasable Past
You gonna love the powerfull of the title « love » by the devin townsend project (retinal circus live)
He did a song with Gojira and a song with Sepultura, check them out too.
Ne Obliviscaris - As Icicles Fall
You guys just HAVE to react to Venom Prison!!
Enjoy your fall down this rabbit hole
real ones know this is a reupload after it got taken down
Yeah dude!
Check out Drop this Planet of Dust by An Abstract Illusion. Theyâre ANOTHER Swedish band
Highly recommend Devin Townsend's song, "Grace" live version.
What the hell took you so long? LOL...
This IMO is the best performance of Deadhead I have seen or heard.
Kills me every time.
Vintersea - befallen
Vintersea -fiery tongue
You guys are a cool couple. I'm gonna fly over there and buy you a beer. (BTW Dev rules)
Power Trip - Divine Apprehension
Power Trip - Hornetâs Nest
Power Trip - Crucifixation
Please please please: The Last Baron by Mastodon! PLEASE!
Death of Music by Devinâs same live recording is just the masterpiece of masterpieces
Amon Amarth - War of the Gods
Amon Amarth - Free Will Sacrifice
Amon Amarth - Valhall Awaits Me
Check out his album "GHOST" . incredibly beautiful . This guy is a genius
Seen him with Gojira and Opeth ..listen to March of the poozer or bastard or even better devin townsend project love version
Is this a re-upload? Cause I could have sworn i seen this a while ago
If you listen to Devinâs older music and hear him sing the older songs now, he has literally gotten better over time. Thatâs not how it usually goes for vocalists. Most decline due to not properly caring for their throat and vocal chords.
gotta do Death of Music next, no doubt
Dude, you gotta check out March of the Poozers from the same show if you want an all out performance! There's a choir on stage and all sorts of crazy stuff going on!!
Welp, it sounds like you got over that issue w/screams (sorry, couldn't resist).
Devin IS a beast, and he is an intelligent, wonderful human being. You gotta watch some of his interactions with interviewers, or his discussions over pedals and effects with the guys at That Pedal Show. And of course, his Quanatine video "Why?" is a priceless bit of internet history... Disney on Shrooms... except Devin would be upset w./me since he doesn't do that stuff so "Disney on an incredibly ironic/humorous/DIY-day.
Try Bastard; same concert Royal Albert hall.
You gotta check out the band Inferi! Do their new song Mesmeric Horror, the song and video are both incredible.
Y'all know he did a song with Gojira? Blood and Salt
In before this is struck down again lol
Soen Soen Soen! Please?
Fome!!!!!....GOJIRA The CHANT
let me just point out this was 2.5 hours into a 3 hour gig.
Now, "detox" by his former band "Strapping young lad", please. Will you?
Check Spiritbox - Holy Roller (feat. Ryo Kinoshita)
Please react to new song of
Slaughter to Prevail - Zavali Ebalo
đ€đ„đ€đ„
Make a reaction to the heavy metal soundtrack of the rip&tear by Mick Gordon
You have to try Ministry - just one fix.
Ok, now will you listen to Strapping young lad, DetoxâŠ..itâs his first band. Please it check out
Keep in mind that Devin had a cold at the time he sang this and others in this concert! So he said his voice was not 100%!
Old school opeth when?
Love's a bitch for sure, but if you feel like it at any moment, pick a tempo.
Listen to his band Strapping Young Lad. Totally different style. One of the top ten most violent bands. Listen to Love or to Aftermath Live. He has so many different project. Maybe because he is bipolar.
Rude much? He simply loves to create music. In fact, he's working on six albums as we speak.
Wait, part 2? What is the first?
They did 'Failure' first
@@CO6883-o3c yes, got it Thx đđ»
I WILL PAY YOU MONEY TO REACT TO âhunt the dinosaurâ. â. ONLY â. Iâve got to see how you react. They turn a shitty rap song into a bad ass jam. You and your wife remind me so much of me and mine. Love your channel !!
